Why you think it was posted here!! cause a tool is needed to be developed, not on regular Q&A and your answers are so lame, if you're gonna reply with this kind of answers" Google" go some where else this kind of attitude is the kind to be banned from forums. Pfffff.
Obviously this is for sim unlock
And please if you don't know or not gonna help don't reply nobody need this kind of douchebags.

tone it down, no reason to get mad over a simple question. We don't need that stuff on XDA anymore.
If I helped, give thanks, if you please.

Root: v20x Firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1540163 (3. Megatron Root)
Older ones can be rooted with SuperOneClick http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
Sim unlock: afaik there isn't a tool for the O3D, so you might want to buy a code.

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist but I see that you have already asked the same question in the General forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/help-rooting-samsung-galaxy-note-3-t3190375. However, since there is an XDA area dedicated to the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-note-3 which would be a better starting place, I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-note-3/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!
EDIT: Member has now posted in the suggested area. Thread closed.

[Completed] Guide for Rooting Nexus 7 2013 (Android 6.0.1) from MacOS

After looking around for a while, felt overwhelmed as many guides look fishy or untrustworthy. Others are poorly written and not definitive. Thought about resorting to XDA for a reference to a trustworthy guide.

Thank you Sawdoctor, I managed to root my device last night and flashing CM13. The guide you sent is much easier. I may use it later as I find the stock rom less buggy than the CM.
