Battery case with NFC support? - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Accessories

Hello,
I was eyeing the ZeroLemon case but it does not support NFC. Is there any alternative which supports NFC?
Thanks

I haven't run into any, and I imagine building one would prove quite tricky. The Note 9 doesn't have contacts for an external NFC antenna, like the Note 4 did, for example.

Bump just in case anyone has found an NFC compatible battery case.

Can the NFC Contact On The NS Be Replaceable or Used On Other Phone?

The newly released blackberry bold 9900/9930 has recently been making the news. Many people feel ecstatic at its full-touch screen and the BlackBerry OS 7.0. but to what's amazing is the NFC attachment.
I did some researchs on the phones that are equipped with NFC. Here are some details:
Models already realeased:
Google samsung nexus s i9020t
nokia c7
Samsung S5230
Models not released yet:
BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930
samsung Galaxy S II
Samsung Wave 578
I'm wondering if the NFC chips are replaceable? This may sound silly, but I see that the parts supplier Global Direct Parts has been selling the Samsung(Google) Nexus S battery Door a period of time.
Currently, two kinds of the Nexus S GT-I9020T battery door are available from them. The difference is, one has the NFC contacts while the other one does not.
SEE PIC on the attachment
It can be seen clearly the NFC contacts are attached to the battery door through a black ahesive-like stuff. Can we just strip the stuff off and put it on other battery doors? will that work? Anybody has bought any nexus s battery door from them? share your stories, plz!
and easier solution could be getting an micro sd card with nfc chip inside: http://www.nearfieldcommunicationsworld.com/2009/01/12/3485/tyfone-puts-nfc-into-microsd-cards/
Let me know if this helps
wow!
pretty cool!
but i still wanna know the answer about the Q i've posted...
any answers, guys?

Galaxy Nexus Accessories for the Nexus 4

While I know cases and screen protectors would be a no-go, can anyone think of why existing chargers, cradles, etc. for the Galaxy Nexus wouldn't work with the Nexus 4? They both use the mini connector, I don't think there's a difference as far as power goes, and their size is generally the same.
Thinking about getting a charging cradle for work since there aren't any accessories yet for the 4, but wanted to get someone sane to vet my assumptions here I'll be sure to provide info back on how well (or badly) they work here. Thanks in advance!

Anyone find an External battery case with SPen slot

I'm just curious to know if anyone has found an external battery case that allows access to the SPen? All the ones I've seen have the SPen covered up.
Please understand too that I am NOT asking about a back plate or case for an extended battery. I'm talking about a case that has a built in battery like in the following link, except that it has access to the SPen.

Anker 6440 product page on Amazon clearly shows an accessible S Pen slot.
Can't post a link here, but search Amazon for "[NFC/Google Wallet Capable] Anker® 6440mAh Extended Battery for Samsung Galaxy Note 4"
I have one on order.

Thanks, but as I specifically said, I am NOT asking about an EXTENDED battery back or case. I'm asking about a battery case like in my link. An EXTERNAL battery case. They're cases with a built in battery. You plug your phone + stock battery into the case. It's like an external battery charger, except it's a case that fits on the phone.

I was looking te same thing while ago. Now I have 2 spare anker batteries Few seconds swap. No problem with s-pen. Very good protection with my Spigen case. And its lighter and not that bulky. This external battery is good for Note 5. But imho spare batteries are better solution for note 4.
This is what you're looking for?

No, that's an extended battery with a case. I'm looking for an "external battery case." It's like a portable charger, except that you clip your phone into it. You never have to swap out the OEM battery.
Please look at the link in my original post. It's what I'm looking for, except none of the ones I'm finding have a way to remove the SPen.
The reason why I'm not wanting an extended battery is because I don't want a fat, heavy phone. I want my phone to stay thin and light, but when my battery gets low, I would like to temporarily plug it into the battery case. But, I need access to the SPen since I require it for work.

That style is mainly used for iPhone users, though I did see them for my Note 2. They still increased the size and weight of your phone.
Portable usb battery packs are more convenient. You could get a separate aftermarket SPen.

I am currently using an external battery. It works, but it's annoying to have it connected via cable. I'm getting into the habit of charging while on my lunch break and may invest in a charger that supports fast charge.

I like the external battery cases as well. Used Senegal with my nexus 5. Haven't found 1 for the note 4 yet.

ZeroLemon 5000 mAh Case Review

I had the opportunity to try out this case upon release in exchange for an honest review. I have not been instructed on whether it has to be a positive or negative review, so this is completely unbiased.
First of all, this is not my first product by ZeroLemon. I had a case from them on an old Galaxy S3 years ago (back when you could take off the back of the phone and slide the extended battery into the back). I loved that case, and I loved the idea of ZeroLemon extending my battery so that I could go 2 days on one charge and not worry about charging during long days away from a charger. So I was very excited to try out this new one for my Note9.
Initial impressions: it does, as you would expect, essentially double your battery life (which is already superb on this Note9). Surprisingly, it never seems to QUITE refill your battery completely, which is odd since the capacity of the case is 20% larger than the capacity of the phone battery. I do like that I can easily go 2 days on one charge, like I could back in the day with my S3. I do like that it has a battery indicator light on the case so you know if it is charged. If battery life is one of your most important features, than this is absolutely a no brainer. It's not a huge case (for an extended battery, that is) compared to some larger ones.
The negatives: the case is sort of bland in terms of design. I like that they offer a blue one to somewhat match the Ocean Blue color of the Note9. Additionally, you lost some functionality that may be important to some: wireless charging, NFC (mobile payments), water resistance (IP68 rating), and the ability to transfer files (only can charge through the case). Now for some people, depending on your usage, this is not a huge deal. For others, it would be detrimental to their phone usage. So it really is up to you! Do you want insane battery life? Or do you need those other features?
Other notes: the case is easy to get on and get off. I have no concerns about damaging the USB C port with this as some have said. The case is slippery, which could be good or bad depending on your preferences.
All-in-all, I think it's a 4-star case. Great for some! Not great for others.
why dont these phone case battery companies just use wireless charging on the cases? A button to turn off/on the charging when necessary.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but they upgraded the note 9 5k mah battery case
https://zerolemon.com/products/galaxy-note-9-battery-case-5000mah-upgraded
Now features pass through and data sync. No need to remove phone out of case.

Man that sucks. I bought one of these and then they go and update it

Yeah, they emailed me and offered me 70% off it I'll review the new one, haha. I guess I should do it!
Mine arrived today...the updated version. I had originally purchased another brand on Amazon that didn't support data sync and it was a dealbreaker so I returned it right as ZL released their new version.
Case texture and fit are very good. I had 2 goals with this case....Android Auto compatibility with my Alpine head unit and DeX compatibility with the Samsung dock.
Looks like this case gets me 1 for 1. The case allows Android Auto mode to activate so I can use Waze and Spotify, etc when driving. This was most important.
DeX was a no-go unfortunately. This was less important as I have a Tab S4 with LTE I can take with me. Still disappointed it doesn't work...but nothing in the advertising ever claimed it would. Just FYI for anyone interested.
Small review....I like the case better than I thought I would. It's a keeper.
I like the looks of the case and with the fixes, I think it is a good buy!
On the website I just read about not fitting with full screen protectors. What kind of screen protection did you go with?

Not sure if you're asking me or OP, but I don't use screen protectors. Maybe someone else will chime in if they are using one.

Question DJI Osmo 5 with S22 Ultra

Hi, Has anyone tried this combination before?, Im planning on buying the OM5 for my S22U but not sure with payload capacity issues.
I also use a MOUS case, so plus for that if you have used it with a bulky case.
I am well aware of software issues, but I record with the native camera app and not through the MIMO app anyway.
Thanks!
Every Osmo mobile, I've always used it with a Samsung, and they always barely fit. I always end up having to take off the case, or use a minimal case (which is probably the better way to do it). I don't personally have a om5 but the note 20 ultra is pretty similar in size as the s22 Ultra. If you can find info on it working with the note 20 ultra, it should work with the s22 Ultra.
I have the S22 Ultra and the OM5. My case is a minimal one (Samsung official leather) and the phone fits just fine in the clamp. Be sure you download the DJI Mimo version directly from DJI and not from the Play store - the Play store version is an older one that does not allow access to all the OM5 features. If you get the right Mimo version, it is a great combination.
FYI, I also use the native camera app. The Mimo app I use to set things up, like an external mic. I've found problems trying to switch to a USB mic in the native camera app, but if I select that in Mimo and then go back to the camera app, things work as expected.

Thx for the tip, was gonna be making a trip soon and now I'm glad I can set it up for this phone, but their reviews have plummeted so low because of it. Also 2 things I'd like to ask, I hear the OM4 has a stronger motor and longer battery life, would you recommend that one more if I won't be using the extension rod? And with the newer OM's overall, does the magnet feel strong enough to not fall off with a sudden jolt or quick movements? That's the only thing keeping me from upgrading so far.

I have both the OM4 and 5.
Magnetic attachment: pretty much the same. I've never felt like either my previous Note 20 Ultra or the S22 Ultra was likely to fall off the gimbal. I just have to make sure the clamp is securely on the phone - that can be an issue, but I've never worried about the magnet.
Motor: the OM4 has a slight advantage here. When either battery is getting low, the motor on the 4 still seems to hum along while the 5 just wants to stop working at about 20%. Until you hit that mark, though, both seem to be comparable.
Battery life: clear advantage on the 4. Lasts probably 20-30 minutes longer than the 5, and recharges faster.
Stuff that comes with: again, the 4. It comes with a hard sided case where the 5 comes with a cheesy pouch.
My wife loves the 5 because of the extension pole (think of it like a tech-laden selfie stick) and I love the 4. The 4 feels like it is built like a tank while the 5 seems a little more fragile. Either is good, but for how I use it, the 4 is a better choice.

Ya sounds like I'll go with the 4 then, thx again.
I ordered my om 5 and I'm waiting for delivery. I read a while ago the s22u is not supported by the dji app, only up to s21u. So, does the app support the s22u or are you using the native camera app? I know there is a lot more limitations on what the mimo app on android can do compared to ios...I was thinking of getting the om 4, but it's only available in our country on import or 2nd hand....
I was wondering with the S22 Ultra and the OM5, are you able to activate the shutter/video shutter button or other features on the OM5 when using the Native Samsung Camera app (not the mimo app) or do you have to use the mimo app in order to do that? Do you have any bluetooth connection/disconnection issues with the OM5 and the S22 Ultra? Are you also able to fit the S22 Ultra (with a case on) on the gimbal clamp or do you have to mount the phone without a case? Which phone case do you have btw if able to mount phone/case to OM5? Thanks
That depends on the case you have. A thin case will fit tightly but it does fit (such as Spigen Thin Fit). Using phone without case fits perfectly with the clamp fully open up. And you will need the Mimo app to control the phone. The app doesn't work with native Samsung camera app .
