I just ordered this bad boy due to the sale. Haven't seen one in person but from the reviews they appear to be stunning. I'd try it for $45, not so much $60. They also have traditional CF weave cases on sale for $30.

My biggest problem with this case is I cant find any substantive information about it. All the reviewers talk about is how good it looks but no one talks about how it feels in your hand if the sides are soft or any other features you would expect from a case review

First thing looked at the reviews... 14 reviews all fake as ****!
You know how a true customers writes, what words you'd normally use etc.. Then you have those fake ones, how borderline awesome it looks, shipping super duper fast, no better case exists in this world bla blaaa blaaa...
Stay away, just my 0.02$
I noticed that too. But they do sell a lot of other products and it's real carbon fiber. So I'll take a chance on a sale. There was a thread here that mentioned them and everyone seemed pretty happy about theirs. I had seen the Alcantara ones before but they were never in stock.

I saw in the forum that a lot of people are searching for websites selling SGP silk, slider or sgp leather cases. (sgpstore.com currently only sales stuff for iphones... so sad)
This french export website has all of them, even zenus and lamborghini cases that cannot be found on ebay (however I ordered a SGP slider but unfortunately it will only be in stock mid-september, other stuff seems in stock tho).
Registered shipping is not cheap, so maybe you guys would like to make one big grouped order to the US (and share a little of custom fees ahah) ! If someone wants to be the manager for that he can use this thread. However if you feel lucky or oder something around 20$ if I were you i'd take the risk of the 5$ slow shipping. The admin also told me that for air parcel registered orders you can ask them to put the order as "gift" thus lowering drastically the chance of having a custom fee to pay, if you take EMS shipping you are 100% sure to pay that fee. So I don't really know what would be the cheaper, a very big grouped order, or a lot of little air parcel orders as gift, your call. Anyway the stuff being totally non existant at any US or european reseller, even if you change your mind or are not satisfied with a case I'm pretty sure you can resell it locally very fast at a higher price than your order, hell you could even auction it on ebay, I'm pretty sure it could ramp up to twice it's value.
Keep in mind the stuff there is for galaxy S i9000, cases will fit the vibrant, but the screen protectors may not, so beware.
Here it is, 4 pages of high quality cases and stuff. I checked the prices with gmarket in korea and they are about the same with shipping and screen protector included. Example on gmarket you can get a sgp gariz case for about 70000 won with shipping, here it is at about 80000 won with the same registered air parcel shipping. A fair price if you ask me. The customer service is very good, they speak both french and english perfectly and answered my questions within 5/6 hours ! There's also a lot of reports that this site is trustworthy over other forums.

If this post is against the rules, well, just tell me and i'll delete.
If you want some extra pictures about how the SGP cases shape are in closeup and other angles, theres some video reviews there : http://www.galaxy-s.fr/
Here's the vintage one for the laziests of you.

The videos and pictures are not in french they are silent ^^ so heh. And chrome translate is your friend for the articles. I also saw that guy put a review of a very nice and cheap clamshell case, but his website is out of stock, anyone seen this case elsewhere ?
well there is nothing there that i havent seen in ebay...

Please link me to the ebay store where you can find gariz or legend leather cases then.
Sgpstores only sells sgs screen protector atm.
I asked sgpunited on ebay, he says he'll have the leather cases in two weeks on ebay.
Another alternative is http://cretouch.com/ which is where I ordered my Ultra-Oleophobic shield.
the vintage looks pretty cool in that video. Too bad they don't just have a back cover only; expecting my phone to fall off while using that case lol.
They have new cases :
Back cover only Zenus vintage : http://www.exportprive.com/advanced...escription=0&keywords=galaxy S&sort=2a&page=5
Cases with kickstand 4 colors (black gold/ black silver / light red / white ) : 8$
http://www.exportprive.com/solozen-standing-hard-case-samsung-galaxy-glossy-black-p-13514.html
I bought Sandisk memory & SGP Ultra Capsule. Very good prices and services!
I was going to order from here until I got to the credit card info and was asked my birth date. I find that highly suspicious, and seeing next to none feedback about the website I decided not to order. (I really wanted their kickstand case too.)
Actually, having a redirection to your bank's website asking your birthday number is what most secured websites do.
I already ordered from them with alertpay I had no problem.
woops wrong thread
Hi, there. I bought this product:
http://www.exportprive.com/anymode-...attery-cover-galaxy-i9000-orange-p-13600.html
....and I would like to express my disapointment.
ADVANTAGES: It is really a natural leather....it feels like and smells like natural leather.
DISADVANTAGES:
1. The cover doesn't fit very well. All edges are visable.
2. Build quality is low.
3. It is made by a very thick plastick, so it makes the phone ticker.
4. The price is 45 $, so it doesn't wort it.

I haven't gotten mine yet, but I used this case for my 10.1 and I loved it. Now it's even cheaper for the 8.9. Happy to write a mini review when I get the case but for this price I had to share. 10 dollars shipped. Hopefully this price stays that way for all of you.

Wow!! That's cheap!!! I've placed an order!!!!
I hope its good so I can return my expensive belkin one. Thanks for the link.

It is very good! It looks very professional and the has a nice slim profile.
I got one for my new 8.9 as well, and though it shows its cheapness in the quality of the faux leather, the roughess of the cut and stiches, the thickness of the clip, etc, it is very functional and so for that price (10 dollars total) it is hard to complain and most likely I ll keep it too.
not recommended!
I got the deal thanks to the operator of this thread. great price and fast delivery - no complaints there.
However, the case has a serious design flaw - including bad design decision by Samsung as well. The onla way the case works for angled view, the bottom speakers of the tab sit in the shallow groves which are a soft material and i) they do not keep the angle stable and ii) forget about watching a movie or listening to music!
I turned the tab 180 degrees so the speakers face upwards but now the power button sits in the groves and tend to blank my screen from time to time.
Só if you do any form of multimedia then this case is not recommended.
sorry for the bad news but since the case got only 5star reviews in Amazon I felt a need to share a different opinion.
cheers chris
If compare this

vs
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-PU-Leat...Accessories&hash=item3f10227d9e#ht_3256wt_940
Which one thinner?
The amazon holding I also worry as it may come out easily.
I bought this case since it seems to be one of the better options currently, especially at the price. I am actually very happy with it. Someday I may replace it with a keyboard folio case, but for now it does it job and looks decent. Most of the other cases cover part of the front of the tablet and IMHO that looks tacky.

The Vipertek is definitely thinner. Don't worry about how well the Vipertek case holds the tablet. The connection is very firm, there is no way it will fall out accidentally.
for me I prefer to use my tab in portrait mode. is the 360 rotate case better or this amazon case?
got this today!
noreve case
This is a very nice case as well. No complaints except a little pricey, but it is on sale for the holidays! http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/noreve-tradition-leather-case-for-samsung-galaxy-tab-8-9-p32196.htm
$73, before shipping? Sorry, I'll stick to my Vipertek; pretty much the same case, it's made well, and less than $20 with Amazon prime. It's even got an additional slot inside the top cover for an extra viewing angle.
I got mine on Saturday and I love it!
Thanks OP for posting
Thanks to the OP I am quite pleased with the Vipertek case. Beats the over priced bulky Belkin case I got with the tab hands down.
Had mine for a while now. It leaves marks on the screen when closed for a while and the screen is dark, but you cant notice them when powered on.
Just got my Galaxy Tab 8.9 Vipertek case from the online jungle store. <grin>
I feel much better about my wife throwing the tablet in her purse and not scratching it all up. The only complaint I have, and I knew this when I bought it due to reviews at said online jungle store, is that the speakers are not very loud when using the adjustable viewing angles (they get buried in the soft padded base). But that is more of a design issue with the tablet than the case imo. The case is a tremendous value.

If you balance it right you can make it louder

Right. This case is now $25 on Amazon. TT_TT
But seeing all the good reviews here as well as there convinced me to go for it.
(I was about to get the Acase though, but I liked the Vipertek look and grooves better) It looks like this is the case to get
now if only they had shipping to europe...cases like this cost 35€ and upwards over here. even with shipping this case would probably be cheaper than most of them over here
any ideas on how to get this to germany?
amazon all out anybody have a link of where to buy the vipertek case
"Great case, optimum design".
I was pretty skeptical about spending this much money on a case but I must admit having got the case, I am thoroughly delighted with it I love the way the Kindle Fire fits into the shell without any straps and how the case still preserves the slender form factor of KFHD
I would agree with others that the price really could be about $10 lower but Amazon probably has to make some money...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008GGH4VI/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
I agree, I like the case overall. The price is a bit high, but overall I think its not terribly overpriced. The only gripe I have after reading with it several times now is that the edge of the case can be a bit sharp. It will dig into your hand a bit after a while of holding it.
Definitely a quality case. I love the form factor. It maintains the slimness of the KFHD.

Lol !! Great case.. thanks for link..
magnetic screen shutdown too!
One thing not mentioned here (yet) is the magnetic screen cover. When you close the cover the screen automatically shuts off (like the iPad, except this cover is not flimsy and won't fall off!). This was a great surprise I found when i tried out this case --and that, plus the slim durable style convinced me that this is the best case for the Kindle Fire HD7" (and 8/9" for that matter!).
Agree with all the previous comments, after trying 3 previous cases, the Amazon on wins hands down.

I bought my wife the Amazon case that you guys have and you all are right it's nice.
Here's the case I have, and I love it. I honestly like it better than the Amazon case. The hand strap imo is a must have. The design on the exterior looks very classy and not at all cheap or cheesy. And yes, it has the on/off feature upon opening and closing the case.
But wait, how much does this mythical, almost too good to be true case cost, you say? It must be at least $99. Maybe if I catch it on sale I can get it for $78.92. Surely you jest. Maybe a second-hand pick, laden with crusty boogers for a cool $50?
Heck no.
Just check out the link below. Believe me, you CAN afford one (or 3).

0 By the Way, I also bought one of the solid colored cases of the same kind. The outside of that one did feel cheap, it is not the same material as the one that I linked to above. It still offers great protection and for what it costs is worth it, but the outside material doesn't feel as quality.

It's stylish and great for holding it, and doesn't seem to get dirty easily (oils from food, moisture wipe right off). However, it's not great for protection at all. I dropped my first KFHD from a one-foot distance off the ground, only to pick it up and find a hairline crack across the bottom right corner (potentially a weak spot)?
According to customer service, if it's only one crack and not a spider web, it's covered under the default warranty. They mailed me out a new one within 2 days. Kick ass customer service, I do say.
Thank your self you don't live in the UK!
It's £49 here!

You're talking about the Amazon cover right? That's the one I have now (but i am going to check out the other cover mentioned just above too) Since Christmas, I have dropped my new Kindle Fire HD 7 a couple of times. Only casual slips and nothing major. One from the table top height and one or two from the couch arm (lower height) onto a hard wood floor. So far I have had no damage --the top (fold over) cover now has a slight compression along about 1 inch of the edges, but I just rechecked the KF HD and I can't see any damage. I guess I am lucky!

Thanks, went to that link and It does look good & nice video! I like all of those different colors and a great price too! However, the video seems to demonstrate and show a sleep-wake functionality for the case, but the written ad's second bullet says "does not include the wake sleep feature." Not sure which one is accurate! Although, I really am getting spoiled by using the "flip on flip off" approach to the KF HD so the magnets are important to me
i have bought Amazon original case.. Its practical and seems excellent.

Who made it? Zerolemon?
Looking for a decent case for protection that is also ergonomic. OtterBox was my first choice, but it's quite expensive
Anyone have any suggestions? Or have experience with any of the ones below?
Griffin Survivor Case: Link Here
M-Edge Latitude Case: Link Here
Caseen Soft Snap Case: Link Here
For my money and taste the only one of those worth it would be the Griffin:thumbup: just don't see myself paying that much for the other ones. Also I was going to make a post like thus when I found these last night http://tinyurl.com/cyduhug since I'm very busy with work now I don't have to u can just ad them to your post. My only grip is not a wide variety if colors "yet" and straight black isn't one of the few so there's only a few choices for me,but some color choice for a great case at a great price is better than nothing

Hey guys and girls,
Just want to give you a heads up about a metal case i received in the mail today. Took a chance at ordering this case and did not expect much of it, untill now. The quality is really nice. Very snug and made og strong materials. Even the buttons are metal. No rattles no loose gaps or sliding phone inside. Just perfect.
As for the signal i see no loss so far.
