Install Pie Beta of G955FXXU4CRL4 ? Im lost - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

I have a Exynos Galaxy S8+ (G955F) and running firmware G955FXXU4CRL4 .
I read a few guides and tutorials about how to update to UI Beta and everywhere i read you have to be on latest CRL3 build. Im running CRL4 what does that mean?
According to sammobile.com in my country thats my latest firmware and in the history is no such CRL3 firmware.
is there a way how to get Pie Beta on my phone right now?
Thanks in advance

Update for SM-P905 (baseband no: P905XXUANA7 build no: P905XXUANC3) ?

Hi guys,
Am I mistaken or is this the last samsung note pro in the known universe to receive an update to lollipop? I understand it's been a long wait for all note pro users. Does anyone here have an idea when this particular model SM-P905 (baseband no: P905XXUANA7 build no: P905XXUANC3) will receive an update?

Unless I've missed something, the firmware for my specific model isn't available from sammobile, so I can't use odin to update.

I guess you don't have to flash a specific firmware since you have the international 905 model !!
Mine was from italy and i flashed UAE firmware without problems !!

Oh. I feel so newb (And I'm a tech guy...awkward....lol). Mine is running stock kitkat (4.4.2). I rooted it a while back, but so far, have not flashed it with any rom. Correct me if I'm wrong - international version means that all the LTE/radio bands are unlocked? I can't flash it with Deodex.Root.Xposed, as I'm not running stock lollipop. Which rom did u flash yours with?
Chris
You should be able to use Odin to flash any of the released 905 version lollipop updates from sammonbile. You will lose your root however.

Thanks for the link, however, I live in Australia, so according to sammobile, there's no lollipop firmware for this country:

Since your going to flash it yourself just choose any region (pick one thats on 5.1.1) and flash that. Then just change the language and time zone settings during set up and you should be good to go. Many US customers with the 905 used this method when other countries were getting the original 5.0.1 update before them. Worked fine.

Thanks for the info. Cool. I'll keep an eye out for 5.1.1. If I'm not mistaken, most are 5.0.2 at the moment, except AT&T.

Does CP/AP doesn't matter if i want to flash any other firmware?
Only model matter, like both firmwares should be for G930F?
Must be for the same model G930F
Region doesn't matter, carrier / unbranded doesn't matter either

A Question About Firmware and TWRP

So, i installed TWRP, it failed the first time(it still the stock recovery) so i flashed it again(btw im using odin, and yes my phone is samsung) it works, then i flashed magisk with TWRP. Here is the problem, it seems like the magisk installed twice(probably because above) its not like there is 2 magisk icon or anything, its like everytime i opened it it opened twice and and im kinda worried about that, so im planning on flashing the official firmware again, i found the latest one, but it says "carrier INS(india)". So my question is what would happened if i flashed it? Will it be normal or what?
Please, someone
Some details please .....
What is your fon model?
Version of TWRP you flashed?
Version of Magisk flashed?
Version of Android?
What's your original carrier?

SM-J710FN (samsung j7 2016)
3.2.10
Latest one when i made the thread(i forgot what version) and now it is updated to the latest one but still the same problem
Oreo (8.1)
I think its indonesia (or ind, i think)
According to the sm-710FN on GSMArena
this model is for Europe, Middle East & Asia. Also the official Samsung Live website only shows INS for the firmwares for this fon.
So you should be ok with the INS (India) Oreo 8.1 firmware. 96%
Are you on the latest TWRP? Go to the TWRP official site and get the latest for your fon, I have 3.3.1 for mine
Good Luck!
