Yep, BPJE has just arrived today, grab from samfirm tool

Ignore the depreciated line, it still works and updato is not updated yet

Does CP/AP doesn't matter if i want to flash any other firmware?
Only model matter, like both firmwares should be for G930F?

Must be for the same model G930F
Region doesn't matter, carrier / unbranded doesn't matter either

Will I be able to unbrick it through ODIN if something goes wrong? I want to do Dual SIM to Single SIM conversion just for the sake of quick updates.
I'm not sure how different the international S7 variants are from each other. But here in the US they are all the same except for the software so I heard. I got a Sprint S7 to which I wanted to use on T-mobile. So I flashed Tmobile's firmware on my sprint variant and turn out great, have wifi calling and everything is working great.
So it couldn't hurt to try it if you know what you're doing and like you said, worse is just odin back to your stock firmware.

I have the 920F S6 that came with UAE firmware. I flashed XEF France firmware with no issue and assume the same would be true on the S7.

International variants have two versions. Dual SIM and Single SIM. Will doing this ODIN process void warranty or trip any counter?
I flashed the UK firmware on my s7 and it worked. I had the Trinidad and Tobago firmware before. I have the latest update now.

I see. I'm certain it doesn't void warranty but not 100% sure. No knox tripped for me so I assume you'll be ok also.

It shouldn't had been with UAE firmware. It was most likely US/International version. BTW it was better getting one from Souq instead of Amazon. Haven't seen Amazon mostly do international shipping on smartphone.

for future reference, you should check frequencies used by both carriers before flashing
https://www.frequencycheck.com/
if they dont match, you could have trouble with internet speed or battery life.
hi all,
if i flash the s6 g920t firmware into G920I firmware,does it work?
anybody can help me how to flash?
I checked firmwares on Sammobile for my Galaxy S6Edge G925I with a Singaporean CSC. However nougat for G925I is only available for India on Sammobile. I live in Pakistan and use a Singaporean G925I so will a firmware built for Indian G925I work for me??
I am new to flashing so will really appreciate your advice.

Samsung S8+ stock firmware for UK/EU?

Hi, I have the S8+ SM-G955F from Vodafone, it looks like some Vodafone bloatware apps are installed.
Does anyone have a stock firmware for the device?
Thanks!

Does anyone have a mega link? I'm cheap and only have free access to sammobile :fingers-crossed:
Which odin are people using to flash firmwares.
Warning
OFFICIAL STOCK Firmware-update (Odin) thread Samsung GALAXY S8+ SM-G955F
Be advised, that BTU is now part of the Multi-CSC OXM
OXM has a lot of CSC's included! If you want to change i.e. fm Vodafone-firmware to BTU, the possibility is very high you won't get the BTU CSC but the 1st CSC in the package of OXM, which is AFR
I use Odin 3.12.3

Did you download the BTU from sammobile and flash as per the secure pin instructions? Is it luck that you got XEU from the flash or likely to do the same on my Vodafone model also? Thanks.

I didn't follow the secure pin instructions. I used the program SamFirm and downloaded the BTU rom which had the Multi-CSC, my firmware was Vodafone branded and had the Vodafone VOD CSC.
Once I used the correct Odin and flashed the BTU rom I reset the phone in the settings and then I had the XEU CSC which is the correct CSC for Ireland and the UK.

Thank you. I flashed and now have build number NRD90M.G955FXXU1AQDD
Service provider software XEU/XEU/VOD
Is this UK/IRL XEU or still Vodafone UK firmware?
Excuse my ignorance, what is BTU? I am with O2, what benefit do we get from flashing BTU, no bloat apps?
Also I haven't yet accepted any updates, if we do, and realize for example we want to Re-map the Bixby button can we backtrack with this Firmware?
So doing this did not trip Knox ?

Switching Firmware on Galaxy S8+

Today I tried switching my s8+ which is an Italian unlocked model (ITV) to a United Kingdom unlocked firmware (BTU). I followed all the steps as this is not my first time flashing firmwares with Odin. I found a thread online saying that since BTU is a multi CSC , I need to flash a ROM that's is outside the multi CSC , so I decided to flash a O2 ROM , straight after flashing the BTU hoping that it would change the CSC , but it didn't instead it stood on ITV, the country/region is still on Italy too. Can anyone explain what I done wrong pls ?
Why do you even care about csc ? Install rom for your coutry "global", not branded soft and that's all...
BTU is not branded, it's unlocked with no carrier. Updates are also provided directly from Samsung. I would like to change the ROM for faster updates and features

So according to what I read it's impossible to change the CSC to BTU on the Galaxy s8 unless you have a UK Sim. This used to be possible on the s7.

But NOT possible anymore on the S8/S8+
ITV & BTU are both part in OXM. When you flash BTU-ROM, your device will stay ITV because both are in OXM...

Yes, S7 didn't use the multi-CSC, each region had it's own CSC.
But the Euro S8 has Multi-CSC, so it won't change region until you put in a SIM from that new region.
Thanks guys for helping. I just wanted to change the CSC for quicker updates and for region specific features like Bixby Voice when it gets released in the UK.

How do I find out the newest firmware for SM-G955F

I have searched Sammobile, updato.com plus a few other sites and they all say the latest Australia XSA firmware for the SM-G955F and they all say that the one with AP G955FXXS4CRK2 dated 19/11/2018 is the latest however today I ran Samfirm and it downloaded an XSA firmware with AP G955FXXS4CRL2 dated 4/12/2018.
Which is right?
When I ran Samfirm I entered SM-G955F as the model and XSA as the region? Is that correct?
cheers

Samfirm will show latest firmware available while sammobile or updato can be behind the times a bit
So samfirm will be the latest version available.
