Is Nexus 6P port possible? - Xperia Z5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello , xda-devs , i finded out a Nexus 6P - phone that was made by Huawei , and it has nearly same specs as Xperia Z5. And Nexus has custom Android P roms.. So is it possible that we can wait for a port from this device?

no, it wont happen until google releases android l and the only way you will get it is by cyanogenmod 12
I wasn't talking about official support, I was just wondering if there's any talks of it even working on our phones.

I think it is possible because HTC said that M7 will receive Android LOL update. We can then port the Sense7 + Android lol to One S from M7 but just many bugs can be expected. Don't think to use it as a daily drive. Better to wait for CM12.

I dont think you will get a stock android for OPO. You can browse thru various ROM's and get which is nearly equal to Stock but not 100% stock.

Stock 5.1 is not relased for yet the OPO. If you mean AOSP (Vanilla - Nexus series) android, there are some in the development section.

Yeah I meant vanilla Android. Was hoping one could download n5 or n6 rom and just install it. but seems it doesn't work this way.

Yes. Please dont do that.
Flashing ROM designed for other devices can leave your phone bricked.
This phone is built for cyanogen or Oxygen which is One Plus own software. The other you are asking about are for factory phones that use Android. The only phone true android is by Google.

No AOSP Roms?

Hello there, i've just bought a Xperia XA and i'm really appreciating it. The only lack that i found is the fact that the dev community is almost empty.
I don't like SONY system at all, i'm coming from a Nexus and i'd like to install a pure android rom. Is there a way to do it? And, another question: i've read few threads about TWRP, why installing a custom recovery if there isn't any rom available? Thanks a lot

The xa isn't part of the open devices programme being a mediatek powered xperia so there is no aosp/aosp based roms, I think Sony's Android skin is the best available far nicer than stock nexus.
Why wouldn't you want a custom recovery like twrp if you only have a rooted device the two to hand in hand in my eyes whether it's stock based or a custom rom..

Hi, you right there is no dev here I'm trying to make a correct "device tree" and "vendor tree" sources to make some rom, it's hard for me because I'm not a dev and I'm working alone.
TWRP is for rooting the device
It may be a cold shower for you if you come from a Nexus lol.

Is there any LinageOS Builds Coming for our Device?
Probably no. Its very hard to say. But hey, one ui is like the best skin currently for pie. I only need a modded night mode on a gcam to work for our device and im good.

Even A8+ (2018) which has a much better development community is yet to have LineageOS. Guess what-- it is relatively easy to port A8+ stuff to A7 even that is not happening so I wouldn't hold my breath.
