Hi,
I would like to buy a good impact screen protector for otterbox defender note 9.
I really drop my phone very often, so I need a good screen protector.
Can you give a some advice please?
Thanks.

Good day! the defender comes with its own screen protector but is not an anti glare one, and out on a sunny day the screen is just not visible, will i have problems if i install one inside the case? will it still be an antiglare screen even if there is another screen protector over it? i dont want to remove the builtin one just so that everybody knows.
thanks!

The only thing I see happening is that it would make it weird to look at since the screen protector in front is still not anti-glare. You might get the effect you want by buying a cheap anti-glare protector and installing it on the Otterbox's existing protector.
thanks for the reply! but do you mean to install the antiglare protector ON the otterbox screen protector itself? it kind of makes sense though.
I always punch the Otterbox plastic screen protector out of the case (camera side too if it has one). Seems silly to put a cheap piece of plastic over a nice screen. Then you can add the film, over the screen, which does look better than the Otterbox plastic.
I'm a huge fan of the Otterbox Defender series except for the built in screen protector. Can't stand it. Ripped mine out and have found that I can put the defender case on on top of the Zagg Glass ( my personal favorite screen protector ) , and had zero issues, even dropped it several times with no problems.
The new s5 defender case has enough problems snapping together without a screen protector on it its a very tight fit however the silicon on this one really holds the show together. If you do intend to to fit one as someone said removing the built in one might have to be the way to go as i seriously don't think you would be able to clip the shells together.

Did this with my s4. The plastic will tend to adhere to the sticky screen protector making it look like water In between. A lot of lifeproof cases do this too. I heard baby powder wiped on and off the back of the Otterbox plastic screen would help cure that. Popping out the built in screen protector works better In my opinion. You still protect the screen from scratches and almost as much from falls.

Currently I have a spigen tough armor case with a kickstand (broke off) and a skinomi screen protector. I tend to take my case off a lot to replace the battery with a spare. By doing this it seems to slowly peal off my screen protectors. I was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations for a combo that would work for someone who takes their case off a lot.
I am really enjoying using my new Note 4 but an issue I've found is some screen protectors seem to almost reduce the resolution/brightness of the display.
So I thought rather than wasting my money, check if there was any screen protector which everyone agreed was either the best or one of the best.
My priority is:
absolute transparency
screen protection
slimness
I've heard alot of good things about the spigen screen protectors, as below

What does everyone else think?
There's a thread on this topic. Here, it might help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2878038
It was the intelliGLASS edge to edge screen protector until I realized that it was picking up a lot of smudges (Easier than most generic ones) and it's a bit too close to the edge to allow for TPU cases. I just went with one off eBay. Has haloing but I have the white note 4, making it almost impossible to see.
tempered glass is the way to go, normal plastic screen protectors vary to heavily in quality and are prone to scratches and discoloration. I'd honestly pick up a decent tempered glass screen protector of ebay. although I've been using mine without a screen protector for a while and it's held up fine. in saying that i just ordered a nuglas tempered screen protector last night of ebay for 8 bucks.
I'm a big fan of Illumishield: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Screen Protector with Lifetime Replacement Warranty - Japanese Ultra Clear HD Film with Anti-Bubble and Anti-Fingerprint - High Quality (Invisible) LCD Shield - [3-Pack]
I find them to be completely clear with a good feel. I forget they are on the phone. For the most part they are resistant to fingerprints, fit perfectly and are very durable. One usually lasts me the life of the phone. Priced well also.
The best part is that they are really bubble free if applied in a dust free environment (steamy bathroom). I use the hinge method to pre-position the protector so I only have to put it on once.
Good product.
tempered glass prot.
I had a previous case with a screen protector built in for my S9+ and it worked great, but I'm having issues now. I found this one:
Case with Protector, but it says not compatible with fingerprint ID. I assume this is because of the fingerprint built into the screen?
Does anyone know of a case that has a screen protector AND works with the fingerprint reader? Or is the built in protector not possible due to the fingerprint reader in the screen now?
I would assume no built in screen protectors will work..in order for the FPS to work, the screen protector has to basically be attached to the screen with zero air gap between phone and protector..

One of my friend used Gadgetshieldz case fit screen protector and he used many third party cases. Those fits are really great But I've ordered normal screen protector from them, waiting to order case fit once they released.

and this was on the S10+?
For screen protector I would go with whitestone dome. For me it acts the same as if I had the preinstalled samsung film. I would then go on amazon and check out reviews and questions for whitestone dome. People tend to post their comparable cases. I am using the UAG Monarch and it fits without a problem.
I HIGHLY recommend the Whitestone protectors. The adhesive makes them SUBSTANTIALLY more chip/crack resistant and the touch sensitivity is light years ahead of other protectors (like ZAGG). It was my go-to on Note and now S10+.
I am a minimalist and finally found a case that's thin but also adds SOME protection. TORRAS on Amazon. The hard plastic has a matte finish, amazing touch and feel but little protection. The silicone option is thin, has ridges to protect camera and screen but slides in pants and pockets easily. It DOES offer drop protection relatively.

I actually just picked up the TORRAS Slim on Amazon, not sure if it's the same one you have. Currently I'm using the Spigen Rugged Armor... but it's too thin in my opinion. I feel like if I drop my phone, I have little protection. I'm hoping you can help me help a friend. She just got her Note 10+. She is a big fan of the Spigen neoflex protectors. She asked a couple of questions about the Samsung screen protector. What kind of protector is it? Is it a pet type or a tpu. Regardless of the type, is it as resistant to scratches as one of the tpu protectors?

Good question.
I too am looking for more info on this.
I stall have my screen protection on as it's a absolute perfect fit and it's the oldschool plastic protection I missed so much.
I hate those big fat glass protection so this is just perfect but is it worth it that's the question.
Ps. I just tried two different types of plastic screen protection on my note 9 and both of them failed to keep the edges glued on the display and kept coming off so this note 10 screen protection I love.
