I've installed this ROM and almost anything works well
But I have trouble when use appMessenger to video call, there were echoes. And when use Messenger Lite and Zalo to call even couldn't here other's sound
Hope it's will be fixed soon

Hi, I'm unable to install Gapps after installing the ROM. I am using the ARM64 platform for Android v9. Have tried the nano, micro, mini and full packages and always get Error 64 when attempting to install.

It looks like the notch is not handled very well. Icons on the right can disappear under the notch and hide other icons on the left, as if the notch cutout moved to the left. See this screencast. Is it possible to enable 4k video recording?

While the rom is generally pretty good, I can't seem to make the "double tap to wake" feature work. Does anyone have a similar issue, and a workaround perhaps ? Maybe it requires a different kernel ?

Wow, we now have a RR build for Davinci. Awesome work and thanks so much! Can anybody who has installed it comment on FOD, DT2W etc? I just got Lineage set up exactly how I want it but RR is too much of a temptation.

• Fingerprint working, imo, almost as good as in MIUI
• Security patch from August, build is from 2019.09.01, so, I guess it's normal.

Always permissive..not changing to enforcing in violet parts...but rom is amazing...

Has anyone tried dirty flash over RR 7.x?

Headphone issues
Flashed this and had to revert to my original ROM after having a total bad experience with Earphone keys. Try to increase the volume and it mutes the conversation. It also had same Call Recorder issues (distorted sound) found in Lineage and all other ROM's that uses Lineage code base.

best rom till now, all working fine.. no issue

I find that the phone wakes up really slowly. If you double tap to wake the screen, soemtimes it takesn up to 7 or 8 seconds for the screen to wake up.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Nice to see an immediate update! Battery bar doesn't cover the whole screen (see screenshot). Will post more feedback after trying the Rom for a couple of days.

Can anyone confirm charging light work in this build or not?

Charging LED doesn't work.
Battery life looks very promising, I've got 0.25% hourly idle drain, which is hard to beat (for example, on latest PE+ I had 4%)

End of the first battery cicle with very good results. As for now, the only issues encountered are charging led not working, odd display coverage of battery bar and GPay not working, even with Magisk hide enabled to change its name.

4% can't be compared since it's likely a crappy service/app.

It's been a long time since you heard from us. We hope you are safe and well during this crazy pandemic. We are back and with some good news! Resurrection Remix is back! We were away for Q for a while but now the ROM is rock stable and source is ready for the public. Sync it into your build servers because the source is ready to go!
The ROM is very stable at the moment with tons of features to even count. 'This is the hottest RR version so far'. Most of the issues have been resolved during the testing phase of the ROM. So get ready to build for your device!
Please read the README in the Manifest, it has all the instructions required to build. Maintainers who wish to apply can follow the instructions given in the Manifest.

There's is literally no difference between unofficial and official build. It's just a tag.

Waiting for the new build, in the meantime battery life seems to improve daily

quick summary
Heavy testing here since a couple of days. Some things I wanna write down.
AnTuTu: 173.560 (
-> IMHO it's too low
Geekbench 5, Single-core: 336
Geekbench 5, Multi-core: 711
Geekbench 5, Compute (OpenCL): 1453
-> scores are OK but not supreme
Not working:
- loading LED (already mentioned)
- widget problems/not updating (in my case "Palabre", "Accupedo Pro", "TuneIn")
- automatic app updates through Google Play Store
-> to be fair, the last two issues I had with any 10 ROM so far :/
Working for me as a daily driver. Glad we got the option using RR in version 10!

Its a very nice ROM I like it. Is it possible to add smart charging feature to set maximum charging level please?

I have extra spaces in the beginning and end of status bar. Can anyone explain how to get rid of this pls?

Have been using RR (unofficial) for some days now. After oxygen (ofc), havoc, nitrogen and lineage. And without doubt, this is the best that I ever used. Really stable - no bugs, FC or anything. And the level of customization is quite impressive.
Plus, the battery backup is really good too. Without need using another custom kernel.
Congratulations and thank you to the developer. Here it is a great work

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

Google play services stopped working after updating to new version of rr. All the Google service's are not working now. Someone please advise how to fix this issue

Why did you post this to the Q&A section?

There's a slight problem on the notification quickbar buttons, as the buttons are too separated and are sticking to the edges. This is bothering me a lot and i havent been able to solve it. Any ideas?

I downloaded and flashed gapps for Android 10. Now everything is working fine

Is it necessary to wipe vendor too while flashing new ROM?

no sound during calling
ROM is nice and everything is working except the calling (GSM). I cannot hear the other side and they do not hear me! And in case of calling via messenger I hear the other side, but they don't hear me. Maybe that's a problem of build.prop, but I tried many changes in build.prop, but nothing helped... Please advise!

I changed build.prop in system, but it is necessary to change build.prop in system/vendor !! (changed "fluency" to "none")

It is not possible to remap hw keys. Is this a problem of android 10 or is it a bug??

I have not found a solution, with a lower number of tiles in the bar, the icon on the right and the one on the left will always be a few pixels outside the drawer.
You can check this by changing the number of tiles to:
Settings, Resurrection tools, Panels menu, Quick settings, QS rows and columns, tiles on quickbar (default 6)

Someone already solved my problem! Go to Settings > Resurrection Tools > System > Parts > Rounded corners and increase "Corner content padding" to somethin around 10-15 dp. It's weird to have 0 as a default value but who am i to say.

Can you explain what you did? Pls I am having the same issue

Even after disabling double tap home to switch apps, it keeps happening.. Please help...
