If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

First look Review
I am really glad to see Resurrection Remix back in the game. The customizations available are unmatched. But this build is very buggy. I am only getting 4 hrs SOT and using anything on the phone is causing overheating ( The CPU temperature is always at about 51°C ). Also, there are plenty of slow downs and the screen often just turns black and the phone reboots. Also, it is showing me that vendor security patch is outdated and I have seLinux error of some sort. Any idea how to fix those? Otherwise the rom is pretty good, perhaps the most customizable pie rom after Havoc OS 9.0 . It's way too buggy at the moment to be used as a daily driver. If you do use it, get overload kernel v14.4 (don't get v14.6, v14.7 or v14.8) . It at least fixes some of the lag issues . The new boot animation is pretty slick. Hope that this rom gets regular updates and the bugs are ironed out.
Quick Note to OP: You haven't added this rom to the list of available ROMS for Le Eco le 2. You should do it or else this rom might get lost in the endless posts in Le 2 forum.
I would have loved to attach screen shots but I don't know how to. I'm new to Xda.
I'm interested in porting roms for Le2… Can you guide me how to do it or point me towards a guide. Most of the ones I found were for Android M/N roms.

Thanks for dat ROM...working great---using Overload Kernel 4.16 with LKT Balanced, Magisk root...rom is fast, smooth, nice xtras as well. In fact all yur ROM's work well, at least for me. Only problem I had was with Play Store, when I put in gmail address at start didn't take, had to remove reinstall then all was well. I don't think that's a problem though. Appreciate it dude...C ya.

Can u add some screenshots bro.

Thanks for the latest ROM, its working perfectly fine apart from couple of issues for me :
1. Ambient display brightness is very low.
2. Cannot Turn off Hardware button's back-light display.

Guys please add some screen shots so that others can have the glimpse of the ROM..
And did anyone tries Liquid Remix.. I found it the better ROM till now. For me it works great no bug. only when data or WiFi is turned on and notification comes you have to pause a little otherwise status bar lags.. Not a big deal...
I used RR Oreo and nougat build for le2 and it is best.
But looks like for pie I have to wait since feedbacks are not good.

Liquid remix is way smoother and more stable than RR PIE as of now. I guess this is because this rom is still in it's nascent stage and things are bound to get better
I'm not using this rom anymore, so I can't provide any screenshots.

rssxda is no longer making builds for s2. This project has been abandoned with no new builds scheduled.

Tested on my x526 for liquid remix. Is their a new ressurection remix pie out now in July 2019? Ressurection had sum good this built in like 2g and gps off on screen off. I actually switched back to oreo ressurection it seems more snappy. Liquid is just abandoned

I had troubles to find current builds for my devices so I decided to make regular builds for my devices. When my friends told me about similar problems, I extended the builds to include their devices as well. So these builds were and are mainly for my friends and me, but I finally decided to provide them also for public download.

My unofficial Resurrection Remix (LuisROM) an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your device. The LuisROM build server generates automaticly every 2nd days new builds directly from the sources.
Notice
Sometimes I get a lot of help or feature requests from users of my LuisROMs. My dog Luis and I try to fulfill most of the wishes, but that is not always possible. I do that as a little hobby and Luis does not always want to build ROMs . Please understand if I can not always answer directly.

The best pie ROM for mido . I used it for several months and its great . thks.

Ive downloaded the march 19 build and its error 7 upon flashing.

Since the 7.0.1 update, updates don't show up when checked from updater.
Have to download from your website & install manually.
Oh, also automated (time based) do not disturb modes don't work as supposed, (i.e. complete silence between 00.00 - 06.00) but DND is not activated when time comes.

It's a common bug. Supposedly the fix is renaming them first and then delete them. Haven't tried it myself, that's what people recommend.

Anyone knows if this rom have the latest features of the official RR rom? Like restart quick tile and one handed mode.
I liked the Luis rom in Oreo and would like to use his pie build.

I'm not being able to use Magisk. I flash it but it doesn't appears in the drawer nor in the apps section on settings. What could it be?

Our websites is down due to server maintenance (Server Reboot).
Our server isn't booting due to kernel update. We are working on it ?.

For Clarification - LED notification not working with default SMS app, but it is working eg. with Handcent SMS app.

Got it working.
Seems pretty good and stable.
Only problem found is that using headphones you need to disable the AudioFX for the audio to work correctly.

Hi guys, great rom but I'm facing some issue with Sim 1. The phone seems not reading even if the sim is working on other phones.
Anyone can help? I've tried to find radio baseband zip to flash but no results found so far.

lmkd configuration.
Hello.
I was trying to configure lmkd using setprop, and taking in reference this page --
source.android.com/devices/tech/perf/lmkd
But apparently none of the configs are respected (for e.g. see ro.lmk.kill_timeout_ms).
This's required since the device needs time to swap out apps to memory, but lmkd doesn't see that and kills the foreground app quickly even when there'll be enough memory available after swapping out.

That's because it's a low memory device and uses swap which uses CPU.

interface keeps crashing when connecting to mobile dat after update
Hello,
1st thank you very much for the built, its smoother than the others.
I have 3 questions:
1st: After updating from the previous two versions (both times via the inbuilt default update-app) everythings working fine, despite that the interface crashes (and keeps constantly crashing) as soon the device connects to the mobile data. Unfortunatly I cannot post the logfile out of restrictions to new users.
2nd: both times I updated via the internal updater app, because I encrypted the phone and TWRP cannot decrypt the file system of encrypted Android 9. Is there a workaround?
3rd: is it normal that Trust warns that this version is not signed with public keys?

Great work, really gave a 3rd life to my XT1072! Feels snappier than lineage-15.1-20180313_131048-UNOFFICIAL-thea.zip, and everything seems to work (except device encryption).

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

WOW, ton of features inside. Awesome work dev.
So far everything work flawlessly except for these,
- LED not working when charging
- Alert slider notification not working
- Tiles on quickbar not position really well (see image)
Pretty sure these will be fixed in the next build.

After coming to RR I've never been wanting something else. Happy to see RR with Android 10 is coming our way. Thanks!

The Rom has tons of customizations, they aren't optimally organised tho, I wasn't able to find 2tap2wake for example. Swap hardware buttons doesn't seem to work. I assume it can only get better with next builds, kudos to dev.

After having used RR for years, I've been struggling to find a 10.x ROM that would meet my expectations. Super happy to see you porting it to our devices, going to flash asap!

I was surprised to see there's no alert slider and hw button controls, but then I realized, it's probably ported from a device that has neither

Yes, in my experience it's because of unofficial builds in general. But it's the first release if I got the information herein so far. Shouldn't be too big of a problem to put those code snippets of other working 10 ROMs in there.

There is HW buttons control (swap), it just doesn't work.

What are the alert slider options on this rom? If there aren't any, is it possible to get OOS ones? The ones which have "Mute, vibrate and ring"?

Yes, I know that but other roms have been porting Motorola's face unlock in their roms hence why I asked if it's also present here.

alright, thanks!

Well, tried flashing ROM and after it finished and said "Process finished with [10000]" or something like that, the screen turned off and phone rebooted into fastboot. Couldn't boot or install gapps so yeah, thought Dev would wanna know

The rom is very smooth. I am very pleased.
I found a weird problem and i want your help.
I have connected the car Bluetooth media player, a Bluetooth speaker and Redmi Airdots. When i play music or making a phone call none of the Bluetooth devices plays. The sound plays from phone speaker.
Is this normal? I have never seen this before.
Edit: Fixed it! In Developer Options toggled off "Disable Bluetooth A2DP hardware offload"

but you can find out which line you are writing for? ALL additional settings are not translated there!

System breaking bug
When display battery temperature is turned on in customization>quick tyles the screen turn grey, restarting doesn't solve and the phone restart itself after some seconds

The screen was taking too long to wake up after unlocking with fingerprint or just pressing the power button, disabling ambient display fixed it.
The ROM has some minor and major bugs but I got to say, it's an amazing ROM, so responsive and beautiful after some tweaks in the settings, and I'm getting way better WiFi speeds on this ROM than with any other, good job.

2. Face Unlock isn't working smooth
3. Fast Battery Discharge

I've just installed the rom, it feels very smooth, however I don't know how to change the camera to frontal, do I need to install a gcam or some other camera apk?

Can someone do a screenshot of use of battery?

Rom performance and battery backup is good but I've been facing a number of random reboots for some reason. Any idea?

I had this problem last night, had to clear data
So please pay attention to this until it gets fixed.

I use GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v2.1 and it's working fine. Both back cameras work, front one as well.
