Is there anyway to change the colour or transparency of the single key (pill) navigation button without root
Is there a line in adb I can edit?
Running Emui 9 with Apex launcher if that helps

You can add a "hide" button to the nav bar in the settings ... go to all the way down in the settings menu until you reach the nav bar options, there, activate the slider at the top. Now you can hide the nav bar in any app, and bring it up again by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.
The reason why standard Android tweaks don't work is that the Huawei nav bar is skinned by default, so it's already overriding the original nav bar settings.
Thx for the answer, now i use kangvip and everybody works

Hello , since i upgraded to lollipop (B507) i reinstalled apex launcher and the problem is that the navigation bar background is black instead of transparent can i edit the build.prop to make it transparent ?
Hi all,
I am currently modding Android8.0 and I need to set to transparent my navigation bar (always) and to set a global wallpaper/background.
I know that every application is able to set the navigation bar color with:
<item name="android:navigationBarColor" tools:targetApi="21">@android:color/transparent</item>
but maybe there is a more simple way to do it... When the navigation bar is set to transparent I see a white color (I guess a default one) behind my home which is not a Launcher but it's is just the SystemUI.
How can I set another color or an image behind my SystemUI ?
Apologies if wrong forum.
Without rooting my phone, is there any possible way to swap navigation bar buttons around and/or auto hide the navigation bar?
Any 3rd party apps or adb scripts/commands?
Thanks
PS. ignore my signature. I'm using android 9 on Pixel 2.
I use lmt launcher. Search for it in xda. Not sure if you need root for all the features but you could give it a try. It doesn't hide the stock NAV bar. You need to edit the build prop for that.

Hi, is there any no-root method to decrease navigation bar height on Note 10 running Android 9?
On my Note 8 I had some Substratum overlay that reduced navbar height to half of what's it's by default.
Haven't found any similar way of doing the same on my Note 10. Substratum themes works through Synergy, but is there any app out there to reduce navigation bar size? Thanks in advance!

You can use quick settings to get rid of navigation and or status bar and enable immersive mode. Using on T-Mobile Note 10 Plus with no issues.

Thank you but I'm not looking for any swipe options, there is one built in setting for that. I'd just like to have navigation bar visible all time, but the size could be decreased to half (or a slightly bigger than half) from default.
To answer to myself, on Android 10 this can be done by Hex Installer. Also themeing seems to work.

Hi
I'm also using hex installer to change the navbar height but I would like to go back to synergy+subs lite because it can theme more apps
Do you know of any themes or mods compatible with subs lite that can accomplish that without root?
