Xiaomi Black Shark + Google Camera = ❤️ - Android General

Hi everybody
The latest GCamera Mod from @Arnova8G2 seems to be working great on the Black Shark.
I tested it on my CN version, so far everything (except slow-mo, didn't test that) seems to be working.
A few comparison shots taken with stock Camera app and Google Camera can be found here.
A shot of Google Camera normal setting vs Night Sight in almost complete darkness here.
This is the version i installed to test: GCam Post Link
Here's the thread, taken from the OP6 section: Thread
It looks to me that the Google Camera is able to get more details into the photos, especially in the close ups. I'm actually impressed!
Test it and share your results!

Nice one, for me the front facing camera cant save photos, it shows ok and the camera is working but if i click to take a photo nothing happens, no photo is saved.

Does it still not save pictures for the front camera?
Also, does it work for global rom?

Download link doesn't work (anymore).

Hi, I tried the version that you recommended. It's working fine if using rear camera, but for some reason front camera only shoots 5mp images instead of 20mp.

Panoram photo?

Is there any program that you make a panoramic photo.
Marked a landmark in the picture and you have to follow it and that point is moving in one direction.
Like this http://www.panoman.net/
THANK YOU
Your camera should have a panoramic picture mode depending on your phone.
But this program is to make several successive images but not the only one, as

Sorry for bat english.
THANKS
the one on your phone allows you to take several images and pieces them together, i'm not sure what you are asking
some camera apps don't have that option. you should find a software that can create a panoramic photo from a bunch of other photos.. i do that all the time with my G7 but i have an app suited only for canon cams.

[Q] Infuse: Auto focus problem

When I use barcode scanning and macro on photos, my infuse can't focus well Barcodes are ok it can capture the moment that the phone focus at the right place, but for macro photo, it can't get the focus done in 90% of the time.
In the beginning I saw the camera keep changing its focus and then focus on a right point, it didn't stop. It would go across the right point finally blur again ,there are two situations:
1. Stop at red box: can't focus.
2. Focus at a wrong distance.
Please help me, I'm not sure if its a defect or software problem.
Thanks
Some sample photos from my rear camera

You might also try focusing on not quite as close as what you're taking a photo of and then snapping the photo of your subject. Sometimes the camera might have a problem with the shadows of what you're trying to take a picture of.
My 7 month old infuse had the same problem. I took it to the local AT&T store, they verified it and called some 800# for me and I received a new phone in 4 days. no charge.
A solution is found!
I understand that this is a super old thread but I suddenly fixed the problem stated above and I remembered my post, expecting this could help a few people.
Setting the camera resolution to 5MP instead of 8MP.
It did work, I hope that it would help people that are still having this problem.

Hmm... CameraZoom... never tried that.
But as far as I 'shoot', Camera FV-5 is not WD-wise (Used for more than a month). The app has a viewfinder of 95% (my guess).
I attached a few of my humble shoots (width not cropped) for your reference.

I didn't zoom in any image, the first one was height-cropped.

[Q] Rear Camera/Flash Issue

Lately I've been having an issue with my rear camera and flash. For some reason the flash seems to either be too intense or the lens is not focusing properly after adjusting to the flash, leaving my photos extremely overexposed. I have attached photos of sample pictures.

Photo taken at exposure=0 (Yes, it came out completely white)
Photo taken at exposure=-2
If anyone knows what is causing this or if you know a solution please let me know!

reflashing google camera seems to solve the problem for me (I don;t know why nor how), even though they're not deleted.
I noticed that everytime I flash a new rom the problem occures.
maybe you have a clear case and the flash reflected on the borders of the cut-out for the camera?
happened to me before on an Xperia. I just used a sharpie to color the borders.

no, not at all,
it seems related to torch apk (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50405102&postcount=366)
in my case reflashing google camera right after works.

Pixel 4a HDR on/off

I'm looking for the simplest app that allows me to turn HDR on and off. That option is not on Android 12, it's always on.
I don't need an elaborate app that does a whole lot of things.

Better than stock gcam.. you can turn off hdr and turn on hdr+
Also lot of modification.
Oh nice...ty!
Will that apk replace the stock app, or just add to it? Will I lose the highlight and shadow sliders?
I tried Open Camera. It lets you use their HDR or turn it off. I found no difference at all between their normal and HDR pics.
Their pics were just about as good as the native app, which has sliders for highlights and shadows, for precisely dialing in the exposure.

Not at all, it's a 3rd party app and it won't replace the stock camera. Btw i even found better one. Here's the latest version link -https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-MWP/f/dl23/
U will find manual control there, but for manual control u need to turn on hdr++
