Has anyone else, looking close at the display, noticed that when you have a white object or shape on the screen, there is a green outline on top and a red outline on the bottom? Is this just my device or is it a side effect of amoled displays.
I've attached an image of the X button for multitasking zoomed in because that's where it's most noticeable.
EDIT
Never mind turns out that it is to do with the pentile display matrix that optic amoled displays use.
Here's a link explaining it if anyone's interested https://www.androidauthority.com/galaxy-note-2-vs-galaxy-s3-display-comparison-rgb-pentile-121182/

I did the display in the upper right corner of the yellow stain. It is mainly seen on a white background. Not sure what this is? And how to remove the stain?

In the attached pic you see the red line across the top of the phone for LED notifications
but when there is a notification a tiny faint almost impossible to see (ie pointless for a notification) dot is flashing just on the right side.
Is this red string of what looks like red lights spanning most of the width of the phone so it can flash using more or all of the width?

That image you have is of a sensation XE. The red colour is just paintwork on the speaker housing to compliment the other red highlights found on the XE. It's not a row of lights. The dot is all there is. If you take the cover off while you have a notification, you'll see there are no more led's on the phone for what you're looking for.
TL;DR: impossible.
ah ur right.
gaaaaaah.
<random complaining about stupid design of hard to see tiny LED>
thanks for the response
I've tried Nova, Google Now and the Touchwiz launcher, but on any homescreen, I get a weird white glow at the top and bottom of the screen. This doesn't show anywhere except on the home screens. The black wallpaper I use, is completely black when I open it in the gallery. I've checked all home screen settings, and cant find anything that could cause this.
Does anyone know what it is?
It's sort of hard to see on my LCD monitor, but it's pretty annoying on my S6 Edge's AMOLED screen.
I remember that I earlier in GWD has been able to test me graphics and display with green, yellow and red color which areas are the problem - Can't find this function again
It's under run with a small button called analyze.
