TF700 only buzzs once - Asus Transformer TF700

hi there,
I have a problem with my TF700. I went into a bootloop so I started the procedure to fix it via installing the official software from
adb. Like I did every time I had this problem.
1. C:\adb\fastboot erase system
2. C:\adb\fastboot erase recovery
3. C:\adb\fastboot erase userdata
4. C:\adb\fastboot erase boot
5. C:\adb\fastboot erase misc
6. C:\adb\fastboot erase cache
7. C:\adb\fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob
8. C:\adb\fastboot -i 0x0B05 reboot
now on the 7th step it froze after pushing the image.. it was writing the system.. I accidently stepped on the usb and it got disconnected.. so I did step 8 in the thought that it will restart. it didn't so I reset it with a paper clip.
now it only buzz once and the screen its black.. cant get anything from any button combination..
is it possible to be like this from low battery ? it was low to begin with..
Awaiting your reply..

After the [fastboot erase] sequences I would flash the correct TWRP [fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery (C:YOUR PATH HERE)] and then flash the new ROM via the TWRP. - NP

More likely the motherboard is toast and you can salvage the rest. Doubt there's a market for it though...

By the way whats the bootloader version for unlocking ?

Does not matter. You cannot downgrade anyway and it should have the latest JB 4.2 version ending in .10 anyway. Just run the Unlock tool on whatever you have

NS4G- cm9 froze, pulled bat. stuck at boot, can access CWM Recovery, can't mnt SD

I'm was using CM9 nightly and it froze, I removed the battery and tried to boot but it hangs at Google screen.
I can access bootloader and recovery but, in CWM touch recovery, I can't mount or format system, sdcard, or data but can wipe and mount/unmount cache.
And I can't mount USB in recovery
I can access through fastboot, so what would I need to go about doing to get this thing back up and running?
I don't want to try to many things and screw it up worse or something. It seems to me like the partitions got screwed up or something, but that's just a wild guess. Can anyone help me fix this or point me in the right direction?

the internal storage going bad is actually a very common problem.
I guess locking bootloader and claiming warranty is the way to go.

very true. but if youre doing it to send back to samsung for a warranty repair, does it matter?
I don't know the inner workings of Android or this device specifically, but isn't there just a single bit of flash on the phone which is divided/partitioned into SD, system, etc. Is it possible that the partitions have just been corrupted or something like that? I was playing around just seeing what the phone could do and Odin3 will recognize it, but I didn't want to play around and screw anything up even more than it is.
Is it possible to use Odin to try and attempt a fix? I see there is a re-partition option, I was wondering if that could be worth a try?
Well, I guess I've given up and I'll just hope for Samsung to replace/fix it.
Google-foo has not shown me anything as far as trying to repartition just in case it was corrupted or something; couldn't find any images out there with PITs. I'm able to write the bootloaders and recovery so I just used the one-click-stock provided boot and recovery images and flashed them with fastboot then locked it.
Doesn't boot and recovery go on the same flash that is theoretically bad which is stopping SD, system, & data from being mounted?
Just for the sake, what happens now if you do fastboot oem unlock?
Do you get an error? If you don't get an error, unlock it and then download this:
https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/sojus-imm76d-factory-10660f4c.tgz
Unzip everything and put it on a folder (you will find several img files). Now start the phone again in fastboot mode.

I can't unlock it now, as the bootloader pops up a screen that says to unlock it you have to wipe/factory reset. But it hangs on that probably because it can't see system/data.
I did try flashing it with fastboot though, before I locked it, and I could flash boot, recovery, and radio but it will just hang forever on flashing system. It never gives an error. I let it sit there for over an hour and it never did anything.
So I guess now that it's locked there really is nothing I can do.
Ok, I think Samsung warranty is the only thing left.
Forgot to update, sent to Samsung and they replaced the PBA, so the flash was apparently bad. Thanks for the advice, everyone!
Was only about a week turn around, just took me a while to actually get the RMA started.
They even send a UPS label to ship it to them then took a week turnaround, overall it was good service.

stickybit factory_fastboot.
I never had a bad flash. I run cm10.1, but gps was not working someone said flashing stock then reflash cm10.1
So i used that stupid RSD LITE to flahs factory, all i did was fix the xml and erase the recovery flash. It worked fine the phone booted... Then I reflashed cm10.1 which works? Is there an oem command to kill the sticky bit?
I have tha solution!

Can I somehow go back to the original rom? to restart these things?

If you made a nandroid before flashing this, then yes, you should be able to restore it.
But let's take it from the beginning. Post your bootloader, recovery and rom versions.
As long as you have access to fastboot you can fix this, so don't do anything hasty.
And please be as specific as you can about what you did. We can only help you if we find out where you went wrong.

are there specific bootloader? I was on JB 4.2.1
I am now on twrp v2.6.3.2 but I was while I did the flashing on twrp v2.6.1
hm I did flash crombi-kk rom from the OP
maybe I did some wipe before in twrp .. i think it was recommended?
so now I can't do any reflash or anything in twrp - everytime I want to do something there is this error:
E: Unable to open '/cache/recovery/.version'
I also can't get access to my external SD

All right, your bootloader is current.
I would recommend that you flash TWRP 2.7 in fastboot, then boot into it, do a Factory Wipe in TWRP (that can take upwards of 60 minutes) and flash the rom again.

Alright, everything good so far.
Now download the TWRP 2.7 blob for the tf700 and put it into the same folder as your fastboot.exe.
Then issue this command:
Code:
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery twrp.blob
if that is successful
Code:
fastboot reboot
Then boot into TWRP via the fastboot menu.
Then you can factory wipe and flash the rom

If you want to try that, go to the Wipe menu in TWRP, then to Advanced and choose "format data".
In TWRP this can take 90 minutes! D not interrupt it and make sure the tablet is charged or connected to power.
But this will erase your entire data.
The recovery has it's own partition which you can erase in fastboot:
Code:
fastboot erase recovery
.
Then flash the new recovery. You could also try TWRP 2.6.3.2 if 2.7 doesn't work.

Your posted image indicates that simulation mode is active in TWRP - turn if off in TWRP settings.
To format data, it's approximately this: Wipe -> Advanced -> Format -> Data -> confirm
Note that it takes up to 2 hours to format and trim the eMMC.

Multiple ways to get into the bootloader. Another is hold vol down whilst turning on your phone
Since I suggested you read my adb and fastboot thread, I added a new section about command prompt. It explains that you need to tell cmd where the recovery image is but otherwise correct.

Are you familiar with fastboot? If not: get aquainted.
I know about fastboot and recovery. My bootloader version is US_epad-10.4.4.18-20121012

O.k. Honeybun, that's not the newest.
I would propose to flash newest stock ROM via fastboot.
1. First download from ASUS support site newest stock ROM: ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T Firmware: V10.6.1.14.10 Only for US SKU (Android 4.2.1).
2. Unzip twice; you will get file named blob. Put that in your fastboot folder.
3. Put tab in fastboot mode, connect to pc.
4. Type
Code:
fastboot -i 0x0b05 erase boot
fastboot -i 0x0b05 erase recovery
fastboot -i 0x0b05 erase userdata
fastboot -i 0x0b05 erase system
fastboot -i 0x0b05 reboot [enter]
5. Put tab again in fastboot mode
Code:
fastboot -i 0x0b05 flash staging blob[enter]
fastboot -i 0x0b05 reboot [enter]
6. Blue progression bar will last a long, long time and then reboot itself. Let OS start once.
7. Reboot to bootloader.
8. Flash newest TWRP 2.8.4.0 (plz no CWM) via fastboot and reboot to system.
You should be set now.
Good luck!
I think I love you lol. BTW the only problem left now (which was not one before) is that the gapps package is failing with Status 6. It worked before which is weird cuz the CM version is the same.
First EDIT:
When I just tried to backup I say that it is unable to mount:
/system
/cache
/data
So the scripts in the gapps need to mount the /system so that might be a problem lol
BIG EDIT: I wiped the cache and did a factory reset and now I can mount /system and it now I got the gapps to flash all good. Thank you so much! I love XDA!

Glad that I could have helped you. You would have even more fun if you would install a ROM that supports f2fs.You'd be astonished about the speed gain.
.... and: Lollipop is fun, once you get used to the material design.

I had a Nexus 4 with Lollipop and it is fun alright. What ROM would you recommend?

I run KatKiss LP for TF300T with a Grimlock 5.0+ for TF700T.
But Zombie-pop (what a nasty name) seems promising although in beta state.

Grimlock? That says for TF300T we are TF700T, so it will work?

Not the official one from TF300T. Don't flash!. I extracted it from Zombie-pop ROM (see attachment, it's a flashable zip).
Dev @lj50036 provides _thats11 kernel wich runs fine also on TF700T: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95864024717073289
