I have just bought a PX5 MTCE_GS_V3.00_3 unit and it seems that the "call waiting" functionality is missing.
It's a problem with my unit or this functionality is missing on all units ?
It is possible to use another applications (dialer) that have call waiting implemented ?
I don't know if you solved this issue, but somewhere in the factory settings should be option to enable "3-way calling"

I just upgraded from a Sprint Touch Pro to a Pro 2 & found that I can no longer use the voice command features (reminders/ appointments, caller id, etc). These features except caller id will work through the speaker. Has anyone found a work-around until the version 6.6 upgrade is available. In talking to someone at Sprint they stated that they may go straight to version 6.6 instead of 6.5. This version is suppose to have a number of features not available in 6.5. Voice command & the ring/vibrate feature should also be corrected. There were some registry settings that were available for the HTC mogul that worked with the Touch PRO but won't work with the Touch Pro 2.

I also had this issue and what I did to have it seudo working was the following.
I opened up the Bluetooth settings page and clicked on the 1st tab(the gears) then selected the advanced section/audio subsection and checked off the box that states "Play system sounds on remote hands-free device". That gave me the functionality of the incoming call/text message/confirmation alerts over my Bluetooth device.
There are posts everywhere about this feature and tweaks to get not only the bluetooth audio working but as well to get the blue tooth voice recogniziton working. The search feature is your friend.

It's only your friend when you reviewed every document concerning this problem and none of the answers pertain to your software package. Most of the windows based phones of today are using the Microsoft bluetooth stack in which voice command was created around. The new Touch pro 2 phones are using a widcomm bluetooth stack in which VC doesn't recognize so only a few of the features will work (voice dialing on my phone).

Thanks. I tried that one. I'm now able to get my emails & some reminders but no caller id which is the important one.

So search using the term widcomm stacks. At the very least there are a lot of threads about this very issue, maybe there will be some advice that can help you there:

So, I’ve been on the T-Mobile $30 prepaid plan for a while and, to keep my number of minutes in check, I forward all calls to voicemail. This works well, but ever since upgrading to Lollipop I now have a constant annoying Call forwarding notification on my lock screen and I can’t get rid of it. Lollipop allows you to Block most app notifications, but this option does not appear to be available for Call forwarding (yes, I’ve tried blocking Google Dialer to no avail). Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know of a fix or workaround? Suggestions welcome—I also wonder how others with this plan control their minute usage (yes, I also use VoIP and Hangouts).
Cheers.
Has anyone found a solution for this issue? I am having the same problem as BinkXDA. The "Phone" app doesn't allow you to uncheck notications. Whereas almost every other app does. What gives?
Thanks!
Hello,
Since this morning, (a usual one - no updates, no actions other then the daily communications) my g955n behaves strangely in that that all ongoing calls are interrupted by incoming calls. My phone is stock with latest firmware (upgrade on Dec. 26th to AQL3 - this is latest for g955n). There is no choice of ”call waiting” in more settings for the phone app so I cannot try that option. Any idea how to fix this annoying situation ?
Thank you.
Never heard of the issue. Good luck in finding a solution.
Thanks. Will inform if there is a solution.
Just found a ”temporary” workaround in that that at least ongoing calls are not interrupted - disabling call waiting (which seems to be default on this variant of S8+) with code #43# and SEND. Still, I would very much like to find a solution to a working call waiting.
Any update to this issue? Having the same problem - Samsung J5. I do not understand the temporary solution. What does "disabling call waiting with code #43# and SEND" mean?
Any idea as to why this feature does not work? I´m not rooted and I have not disabled anything related, going crazy over this

Resolved> this function is not available when vibration is ON...
As the title says I'm having trouble when using 4G/5G. All incoming calls are shown as Unknown. When you force 3G/2G only, caller number is displayed normally. Searching google there are many reports with other phones as well having this issue when used with VoLTE and most of them were fixed with software updates. So I contacted my carrier and told them to disable VoLTE from their side. Unfortunatelly I have no slider in Sim settings to disable VoLTE myself.
After VoLTE was disabled from my carrier all incoming calls were displayed normally. It's not the best solution cause I bought this phone specificaly for this reason, to use VoLTE/VoWifi.
I posted the issue on bug tracker of realme as well.
Currently I'm on A.05 version and I have no idea how I could change to another version to test if it would work.
Any help would be appreciated regarding this issue.
PS. I tried factory resetting several times. Clear data/cache of phone/contacts app as well and tried with another dialer.
