I want to unlock my redmi note 6 pro to root it.
I have connected my phone to mi cloud using the option for unloocking on the developer mode
But when i go to
Http://unlock.update.miui.com
It send me to
http://www.miui.com/unlock/index_en.html
I click on unlock now
It ask me for my imui login and then It send me to the miui forum.
I can not download anything on this page.
What should i do? Thank you

same rooting steps applicable for stock B380 on emui3.0?

i'm currently on stock B380, emui3.0. will the same rooting steps for emui2.3 applicable for B380? or do i need to follow a different step? or do i need to downgrade to emui2.3 first before root?

use chrome to translate the page.

Need to Unroot, Relock bootloder
Hey iam using the h60-l04 EMUI 2.3 B115 the indian variant and i rooted my phone successfully using this method " http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/development/honor-6-rooting-method-t2962795 " I dont have any custom rom or such just rooted
so iam trying to find a way to unroot and go back the same old way so i cant get the official update too EMUI 3.0 or is there anyother way i can get the official update !

I'v an honor 6 dual sim (H60-L02) and I'm trying to unlock the bootloader following the guide.
After using all the codes, the site says: "Sorry! The application does not support non-mobile account"
I really dunno what's wrong, the codes are right, taken from info -> phone status etc..
The unique thing I don't understand too is why in the phone I have a serial number, and on the box i'v another serial number.. that's not the same.. but even using one or the other, it still don't work.
I need the code! >.< Suggestions please?

I've tried your suggestion for L02, and then i face this mssg "Sorry! The application does not support non-mobile account". Have u try it? what your honor series?
*SOLVED*
For anybody struggling to unlock the Bootloader site, I finally managed to get it working.
Using incognito mode in chrome I went to the emui homepage, & translated with Google.
Then selected my phone Honor 6plus PE-TL10.
On the download page there is a link for unlocking. This took me to the homepage & I selected "log in with Facebook" It asked me to create a nickname, then took me back to the unlock page.
Here I was able to select smartphone in the first drop down box. The second box kept coming up empty & took a while for the page to load the list of phones.
However I was able to choose the correct model without trying to edit the page info.
I used IMEI from sim #1 was instantly given the code in red text at the bottom of the page.
Just be patient when using teanslate as the page may still be loading. Also don't expect a new page or window to open up with the code. Mine just appeard at the bottom & you could easily miss it.
Remember :-
*email login doesn't work
*phone number login doesn't work (Chinese numbers only)
*use incognito mode or clear cache/history/cookies
*use Facebook to log register a new account
*go to the site via the homepage not the link
*be patient using translate (page loads slow)
*profit ?

Good question! I'm still waiting for about a week until now...
Using the Huawei european form I got that message: "Sorry, you must use a phone account to submit this application."
Two weeks and no reply from huawei (sent 4 emails from 2 different email addresses).
Facebook login with a verify phone number works pretty well as suggested.
Have anyone a huawei Account older then two weeks? and can me generate the bootloader unlockcode?

Unfortunately NO but the miui-Forum burns with customer requests due this i think xiaomi will (must) be reacts with an solution within the next few days!
A lot of claims evetu day but nothing new... I hope xiaomi will have listen to us and find and solution to let authorized just 1 time and save our precious

To everyone with a bricked device, I emailed the global service department and asked them to authorize my account for my bricked Redmi note 5 pro and they replied back saying to wait a bit because it's done by server and my account will be authorized. I will try tonight when I get home to see if it works.

They reply the same message to everyone. So...
I've got answer from them on 21th August and still nothing. Imagine that server's capabilities, it can't handle bunch of numbers.
Xiaomi is really getting worse day by day.. ?? they should have fix this issue asap but instead they are just sitting and laughing on us and doing nothing... ??Pathetic .. ? I also want to authorize my Mi Account.. any solution.. ?
I also need to have my account authorized. I sent a couple of pm to mods in miui forum but no response so far.
Maybe Xiaomi won't disable the authorization barrier ever, they are greedy and wanna sell new devices...

HELP! mi account Locked!

Hello guys, i've buyed a mi note 3 to a guy, the cellphone was appearing a error with find phone or something like that.
I updated him in hope that the error was fixed, but to my surprise the phone was linked to another Account, is there something i could do to remove this account and use the phone? or i was just played fool?

i,'ve send them an email, just waiting, no response yet.
The phone was link to a previous account you can't do anything legally correct now. If you have unlocked bootloader you can use a custom rom or use ramdon programm to pass the security part but they aren't for free.

[Help] Poco X3 Bootloader Unlock (Indian Variant)

Hello,
I’ve an issue unlocking the POCO X3 Bootloader. Please help if you can.
Below are the device details:
• Model – Xiaomi POCO X3
• MIUI Version – 12.0.2
• Android Version – 10
Below are the things I have done:
• Setup Mi account with my SIM Card option
• Turned on all Sync options available – Notes, Contacts etc
• ‘Find my Device’ is also working
• Mi account is successfully added to the device from Mi Unlock Status page
• OEM Unlocking & USB Debugging, USB Debugging (Security settings), Install via USB.. these options are enabled in Developer settings
• After this on connecting the app to Mi unlock tool, I’m able to sign into the Mi tool, after clicking on unlock, it goes to 99% and then throws this error.. couldn't unlock please add your account in miui settings
• I have also tried factory reset, and I have also tried making another Mi account with another SIM card.. the situation is still the same.
Please advise!
Under developer options there is a section where you need to add you Mi account details. Have you done that?
There isn't an Indian variant for POCO 3 NFC yours is Poco X3, it's another phone.... Sorry

Sorry for that but i just mentioned indian variant because its non NFC version of Poco X3
And i cant seem to unlock bootloader even i tried all the methods out

Are you sure you did it? It is 2 options below the OEM unlock option in Developer section. You have to use mobile data only and you have to receive an ”your account is bond to your device” (or something like this) message.

yes its mi unlock status option in developer options and it says account added successfully
Welcome to the club. Have been facing the same issue since date of purchase (2weeks now). And you are not alone , almost everyone I know with Indian variant has the same issue. Waiting for poco to fix this. I've tweeted them about it, I suggest you do the same

I was waiting for someone to create a thread. I am also facing the same issue while following all the steps and it saying "Added successfully. Mi Account is associated with this device now.".
Mi Unlock Tool throws an error at 99% and complaints the device isn't bound to my Mi Account.
Also, one more interesting thing I have observed is that instead of a device name in Mi Cloud like "Redmi 5", it shows "M2007 J20CI" which is not Poco X3 ?
I have tweeted ( twitter.com/vasanthdevelop/status/1318798136987430913 ) to Poco about allowing us to unlock the bootloader and releasing the kernel sources.
i am also having the same issue device is added sucessfully to mi account over mobile data but mi ulock tool gets stuck at 99% saying bind your mi account to device.

Poco X3 NFC aka surya model number is M2007J20CG. On the other hand the Indiana varient aka karna model number is correctly M2007J20CI. On my international model it also displays my model number instead of device name in MI Cloud so that is not the issue I think.
Try use mi unlock tool mod version or old version.
There is a bug with trying to unlock Karna (indian version)'s bootloader.
A fix is apparently coming, I'd suggest you join the poco x3 official group on Telegram, and you should be able to get updates.

I tried joining a Poco X3 Telegram group where they just made fun that I couldn't unlock the bootloader ? is there another group? Could you give me the link to join the group? ?

? Congratulations! I was wondering, even if I unlocked my bootloader now. We don't have many ?* stable (daily-driver) custom ROMs that work with Karna.
Still getting this error on Indian variant purchased last month. Any suggestions guys?

I also still can't unlock it. Did you unlock? I'm on latest 12.0.5.0 and have same error. Is Xiaomi/Poco aware of that problem? Did they respond somehow to it? Somone mentioned any reason? They promised launch day kernel source realase (another story) but what is the use of it bootloader is locked? Pathetic

You have to wait 7 days don't remove the mi account from the device you want to unlock or you will wait 7 days again
Make sure you use the mi unlock tool to start the 7 days count down
