Hey All. I figured I would do a video tutorial on how to connect the Nintendo Wii controller to the Viewsonic G Tablet. I connected it earlier today and it works great. This is just a basic tutorial showing you what you need and how to use it, but it does not go into detail on the specific options of the programs. Here are the programs that you will need to download from the android market to get started:
1. Romgripper
2. DroidEmuLite
3. WiimoteController

I actually knew how to do this already but the one thing that I'm not sure of is if we can play a two player game on this thing using two wiimotes? I see that the wiimote program sees both controllers but it doesn't do anything while using it in the SNES or tigermame emulators. Hope u can help. Great vid btw.

The Wii remote also works great with Quake as well. Pretty neat ability of the gtab.
I am unable to locate romgripper via the android marketplace or amazon marketplace on the gtablet. Anyone have a valid link to the apk?

Works fine on Brilliant Corners. Was using it earlier to play Legend of Zelda quest 2. Not using any guides so this is gonna take a while to beat.

Are you using stock? I haven't rooted my gtab. Was hoping it would not be necessary.
Anyone able to use the nunchuck joystick as a proper joystick with incremental speed for walking vs. running? I am only able to map up, down, left and right. I expect it's impossible, but it would make n64oid massively more fun.

Brilliant Corners is a ROM with a 1.2 bootloader by roebeet. It's a lot like Vegan Tab 5.1.1.
I'm using nesoid to play the roms & the wiimotecontoller app to connect the wiimote via bluetooth.
Has anyone got any games running on the Psx4Droid? I can't seem to get it working. It freezes on me when i load the game.
I tried 2 games, cat with a hat. (Small download size just to check)
Chrono cross.
Beware you cant load games while the play has a memorycard connection to your pc. Found that out the hard way.
Jea, can confirm. Spyro the Dragon don´t work, DOA, FiFa and so on. Hangs on start and crash after some time.

Tested the 3.0.1 - still don´t work. Testet another BIOS file - still don´t work.

I think it's an issue with Android >2.2, as his blog also mentions problems with the Xoom and Nexus S devices. He's working on it, so I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.

Edit, i've tried it out. Still doesnt work for me. Crashes when loading rom.
It does work on older versions (im using V2 fine)

Nope, it´s not available for free (yet).
3.0.4 is out now but still crashes on the Play.

Downloaded from zodttd but it just froze on start up every time so couldn't use it. I have been told FPSE works well but not tried it myself.
FPSE works extremely well.
Had a bit of Tekken then Kula World, it's all good.

Psx4droid sucks all the games play almost in slow motion use fpse its way better and not just a big waste of time

Has anyone tried using this on their transformer? Does it work. I'm thinking it shouls because it is based on flash, unless amazon blocked it for some reason.

Cloud music works great on mine.
I know the video on demand works on my xoom before, but I haven't try it on my transformer. I should check it now. Lol

Netflix instant streaming doesn't use flash it uses Silverlight. That's it why it won't work on android devices without an app.

i was going to purchase nova 2 just nw but i suddenly read about someone who just updated to 3.1 encounter fc prob in all gameloft games. isit true?

The link referred to was pre 3.1, that being said I do know that Spider Man works. Gameloft is working on making them compatible.
i have spiderman, asphalt 6 and heroe of sparta working on my 3.1 They send me a link to download the patch and worked. Dont know if they updated the direct download but they work. Nova 1 still doesnt work even after the patch they send me. Nova 2 is not for motorola xoom
i just tried nova hd for xoom.. works flawlessly.. gyroscope sensor is perfect as well
I have Nova loaded on my xoom now, but i've yet to tinker with it. Is there any way to bind controls to a PS3 controller w/ the OTG cable?

No there isnt. For a ps3 or 360 controller to work they have to implement keymapping feature to the app
Has anyone tried the netflix 1.4.0 update yet? I saw it in the xoom forum, but some xoom users were having issues with it.

I downloaded the new client from the Xoom forum and it's working fine for me. Had to uninstall the old one first but just watched a Deadliest Warrior with no problems.
I read that all Netflix video performance enhancers are bogus. What's different about this one?

Ya they dont do anything special i have never seen any change so i just run the stock app as now that it works fine on almost everything no reason to hack someones app as it can only piss off the people who did all the work to make it in the first place but thats just my thoughts
Can anyone who lives in Canada tell me if they can get streaming on their Transformer?

Weird thing is I see people using Netflix all over Calgary.

To get netflix working do this:
1) Make sure you are updated to 8.6.5.9
2) Make sure you download the latest netflix package here: http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/07...st-phones-too/
3) Install netflix from the apk BUT DO NOT LOGIN YET (If you have already please clear the applications data.)
5) Sign up here: http://www.vpnreactor.com
6) Go on your tansformer and setup the VPN in wireless and network settings. (Pretty straightforward username password and url.)
7) Connect to the VPN
8) Login to Netflix
9) Pick any video and let it play for 15 seconds
10) Disconnect VPN
11) Reboot yout Transformer
12) Use Netflix without VPN

Didnt get to test it too much, but the one difference for me was the red Netflix startup logo.
Before, it was stretched and looked a little "chunky" (almost as if in safe mode)
Now, the "Netflix" Letters are smaller and sharper.
Ill have to try other videos, but was streaming Prison Break episode and fast forwarded/rewinded, and the buffering time was quick.
Before, it seemed to take longer.

Netflix 1.4.0 working on my non-rooted Transformer
I was able to download, install and use Netflix (1.4.0 build) today on my Eee Pad Transformer.
My Transformer is "NOT-rooted".
My Transformer is updated to Honeycomb 3.2 version.
The only issue I have noticed is that "Search" is not working, the Search issue has already been mentioned by several others on this site.
