Hi guys, so I just recently updated to Oreo on my device, and I really like the new Always on display and lockscreen FONT for the clocks, but I've noticed that the regular samsung digital clock widget has a different font when you place it on a page, am I doing something wrong ? Is there a way to change this ?

Thread cleaned - please avoid making unsubstantiated comments and also reacting to them. Give us a shout instead (orange triangle on post header bar). Thanks.
@LenAsh the answer provided by the prior user doesn't resolve the issue. It's important to note so that others coming across this thread don't go on a goose chase in their settings. That is not an "unsubstantiated comment," that's simply fact. The settings page suggested does not contain any options for changing the lock screen font.
The unsubstantiated comment - so what is the answer, or if there isn't one, why not state that? Better then just "you're wrong"?
I don't know that there isn't an answer. I just know that the answer given is not correct. There is value in knowing what the answer is not - process of elimination is literally the process used in every type of engineering or problem solving. Saving users' time is also valuable. I also did not say "you're wrong," I merely stated the answer was not correct. I can't understand why there's pushback against that, nor why leaving an incorrect answer without followup is more valuable to users that stating it's incorrect.
The attached image provides additional substantiation of the statement; the settings suggested as the answer change font system-wide, not the lock screen font individually.

Also, what about the blue lines on the today screen? can i make those Orange somehow? here is another example:

Help!
Thank You so much!
PS: What is this called? haha.
Download and install RC Mod. Spend some time playing with its features. It does exactly what your looking for and then some.
Enjoy
look for Settings+, it's an active thread in the Dev&Hack section. you can change the general colors of the device using the app.
Not sure about the background tho.
UI tweaker does it all i believe, just needs patience as not too use friendly on some devices

Both work Excellent!
Settings+ is a little simpler to use, but RC Mod can give me a more precise color.

Is there any way to manipulate the in-call screen? It puts up this tiny little picture and the rest is this weird blue/gray nothing. It seems as if it would be much better to have the picture much bigger, or include some additional contact information, or just better utilize the space.
Anybody know how to mod this?
Contact picture on incoming call
I found an answer here:
Samsung SGH-i200 - FAQ - 4PDA
Is it possible to increase the contact picture on incoming call by regular means, ie no extra software?

If you disable Samsung-style dialer the photo caller is displayed on the screen size.

Our try "PHOTO CONTACTS PRO WM Smartphone Edition".
Thanks.
But, it doesn't seem to change anything. The phone still looks the same with incoming our outgoing calls.
Is there a template or something that I need to change? Is there a "skin" file that I can tweak?
Does anybody know what the .cpr file is for the in-call screen? That's all I'm looking for, and I'm striking out.
if i remember right its extcall.dll, dialog "MS_PHONE_CONTACTPICTURE" i've made some small attempts in the past but wasn't to driven to try to make it work. hopes this helps you.
or... you can give this a try, i can't tell you if it'll work for you or not.

Thanks.
It is a lot more complex than I thought. I've never edited .dll's before... and spending the last day or so trying to get it to work isn't taking me very far.
I might keep trying, but I think I need some assistance. Feel like a bull in a china shop right now, just feeling my way through and not very successfully.

haha well i gathered that much
but it seems to be scrollable and it has custom shortcuts with it's own custom icons lol
I think the widgets are called metro, but dont quote me, and you will find this same image in the "post your android home screen" thread. ask the guy there for how he did it, i also like, but cant be arsed to copy as something else always comes along that looks better then something else, and never ending vicious circle

With this utility app, older users will not have a headache because of the small application icons and complicated controls.

Big Launcher is an application designed to support older people to use smart phones more easily. Big Launcher includes an interface with icons and large text to help older people can see easily. In addition, you can pin contacts and applications to the home screen to make it easier for older people to use quickly, without having to perform many operations. Young children can also use the phone more easily thanks to this simple interface.
The main reason people have trouble with touch screens is that app icons are too small for their hands or eyesight. So, if you can't help your grandparents touch the right app to open, you can install BIG Launcher to make these icons bigger and easier to use by showing only the mechanical options. copy.
Main function
Simple interface with icons and large text suitable for older people to use
Simple installation, with no lock function for editing
Support Weather Widget for your convenience to keep track of current temperature and weather
Support clock widget with big text
Note
Must have Internet used to download weather data
GPS location: used to get the weather at that location
Read contacts: to get contact list attached to the home screen
Read write memory: to save data

I was holding off on updating, after getting the Android 11 notification a few days ago in the UK, as I couldn't see much user feedback on One Hyper upgraded to Android 11. But I updated it today and while it seems to be working OK (with seemingly no loss in general performance), I did immediately notice a bug/feature on wallpapers.
It doesn't matter which app you use to apply a wallpaper, the system seems to take over and crop the image. When you pull down the notifications bar it zooms back out to the original 1:1 wallpaper.

Forgive the quality of the above gif, I didn't want to overload the thread with a massive image. But you get the idea.
I did a Google search and it seems to be a common issue, at least on some Android 11 devices, I saw some archived reddit threads from 2020. It's a shame but thankfully there is a workaround (if a little clunky). Apparently live wallpapers escape this weird bug/feature, so with an app like KLWP you can turn a wallpaper (like some of the 1080x2340 formatted wallpapers I made) into a live wallpaper. Again it works but for such a simple thing, it's a shame you have to jump through hoops that weren't there in Android 10.
Eh, why do they need to do these things. I'm already really annoyed that the lockscreen overlays a color tone over the image, dampening all cool vibrant colors and contrast. When i now choose a lockscreen wallpaper i have to overdrive the colors and contrast before applying it to counter the tone.
is this a bug? I thought it was some new effect of the system, if you repair it well, when you are using the Motorola launcher and make the gesture to open the app drawer, the same thing happens.
Whether it's simply an annoying new feature or a bug, either way it would be nice if it was an option.
Again I'm able to use the KLWP app to get around it, but its a lot of extra hoops for such a simple feature (and not a particularly intuitive app to use).
