uSound Player is an application for Android devices (with 2.1 or higher) to search and play, via streaming, all kind of MP3 files through the 4 search engines (providers) that implements.
It also allows to download the found results to play them later without a network connection, add entries to your favorites and play the MP3 files that you already have in your device.
This application is the sucesor of the popular uSound that some of you may already know. In this version great changes and fixes have been done and that make it the best version to the date

Just downloaded your app...
Its an awesome app with a really nice UI...It'd be great if you could add a feature that'd show the download status (including the percentage) in the notifications bar..

I've been using this since the regular Usound app. I haven't look back at any other such app. Awesome work

We already do that... :/ Which Android version are you running? This is not the first time we hear about this issue in this new version.

Yeah, we renamed the app and changed the package name, so that explains the downtime

Version 1.4.3 is available at the Play Store! More engines, better performance and many, many fixes.

Apps are missing their alpha

Hi,
since two days ago I received my P8 Max DAV703 and I am very happy with it and organized everything so it became not so messy as before.
I installed Whatsapp, Google Chrome, MX Player, Netflix and so on and untill I noticed something.
Some apps are missing their alpha and they have white background. You know how the icon looks of Google Chrome?
Yeah, instead of nice round looking, they have the square white background. I don't know how to take screenshot
but some other have their alpha's and other not. Firefox does have its alpha. Does anyone know what's going on?
The phablet is not rooted if you have to know that.

It's how the built in launcher displays everything, I have dispensed with the built in one and use Nova Launcher (search on Play Store), this replaces the interface with a more "Android" experience.

What's the reason with this alpha missing in the built in launcher? Firefor icon shows it perfectly normal with alpha and Google Chrome not.
Weird and kinda annoying because those white bordered icons looks like iPhone's.

Never mind this "problem" anymore. I tried the other theme with those brownish/gold icons and then applied the 3D live theme by Dualboot games
and now it looks really nice.
Too bad I can't download themes from the theme's app from Huawei as the P8 Max says "You can't use your SIM with this service"
Does anyone know how to bypass it? To still be able to download themes from the Huawei's theme app?

Put out the sim card, use a VPN Service (eg. Tunnelbear) with Hongkong IP then you can download all the Themes you want!

I see. So that's the way to do it? They can be downloaded when the sim card is put out? Is there a way to turn off the sim card without pulling it out?
That Tunnelbear thing and HK IP I gotta find it myself how to do it.

Btw, what does this mean, some themes can't be downloaded like this:

I see it's not a free according to the Y money symbol and there is no butting to register or to pay.

Ok, I'l ltry it.

How to stop Chrome and some native apps from using different screen brightness?

I have returned to android after many years and i cant find the solution to stop the screen from going noticably dimmer when i use chrome or texts/phone app. It gets brighter when get back to home.
I should also say that the effect is immediate so not like a change due to autobrightness setting.
Does anyone know how to make it keep the same brighntess throughout all apps ?

It's a feature to save the battery, you can disable auto brightness and dimming effect will go.

Yes I've noticed that this doesnt happen when auto brightness is switched off..
However I still dont understand it, it is meant to save battery because the screen is white in those apps, I assume? But it's also white in settings and that doesn't dim..
Wonder if there is any way to use autobrightness (like you should be able to with any phone) and not have this effect in some apps?

Same thing for many phones(Samsung,sony...) not only mate 9.
It's not there in settings cause u use settings for a few seconds,but in chrome you could stay hours, that's why it need to be enabled.

I have changed the interface colour to black, in battery settings and this doesn't bother me as much anymore

Yes i think they have this option cause of amoled display.

I think your right gm007 , i know that from my One+3T and my "normal" Mate 9 doesnt have this feature.

I have noticed this annoying "feature" too on my Mate 9. It only seems to happen if you adjust the slider higher with auto brightness enabled (if you prefer a brighter screen). The only solutions so far are; 1. root the device, uninstall the system app, and reinstall as a user app; 2. use a different app; 3. use manual brightness inside the app

It is true, but it is not recommended, cause beta version.

I'm on the beta via FunkyHuawei...honestly, it doesn't feel like a beta at all! I have yet to experience any issues. Definitely feels more responsive than 5.0 for sure.

Does it have any new features? I am particularly interested in the camera having the portrait mode, which was added to P10.

Also keen to know what other new feature there are and how much better is the responsiveness?

New beta MHA-AL00C00B205 released and listed in funkeyhuawei.

No new features to speak of really that I've encountered. I've moved to the US version beta, and the battery life is much improved over the 5.1. Touch latency might be a slight bit better in the 5.1 beta, but overall the US one is pretty damn fast and responsive. Definitely the the reliably fastest Android phone I've had (and my other phone is a OP 3T.)

How did you install this on your US version?

Rebranded to Chinese version first...then flash via FunkyHuawei.

Issues with MHA-L29C185B172 update
From the solid 16 -18 hours battery life, it has crashed to 6-8 hours only after the update. The phone is also getting heated up many times.
No support or response from HiCare.
Will a factory reset help?

proximity sensor will never be fixed by software update..
usually proximity not working if u use some case which cover proximity, and if there is a particle of dust.

That is not true. Before update to 10.3.6.0, on 10.3.5.0 (if good remember), my MI MIX 2S proximity sensor worked very well. I could even change the sensitivity in test additional tools and see differences in sensor reaction. It turned off screen even if I hold phone 0,5-1 cm from face, without touching him. Now setting up sensitivity dont change anything. I must place and keep finger on sensor for a few seconds to change the value from 5.0 to 0.0. But it works only 2-3 times for 10 trays, and only with finger placed perfectly on sensor. Zero reaction if I put and touch phone with face.
Before update to 10.3.5.0 it doesnt work, like now, and after even earlier update to 10.2.?.? it worked correctly. So this proof that problem is in software, not in hardware. I think some updates (maybe only security updates) reset sensor calibration setting or set up permanently on minimum value.
This is really annoying... I am more and more afraid to update the phone because there is still a lottery or the sensor will work or not after the next update...
If you want change proximity sensor sensitivity:
SETTINGS -> ABOUT PHONE -> tap 5 times on KERNEL VERSION -> in right top corner tap on three dots -> ADDITIONAL TOOLS -> 11. PROXIMITY SENSOR -> and here you have slider, default set to 0 db.

Hi there, for 5 dass im now trying something top get my proximity working again.
Only solution i found was to root and use "xposed sensor disabler" app. App "proximity Sensor Fixiermittel" play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiledirection.proximitysensorreset worked just once, cant remember whick Update was flashed.
Anybody anyhow fixed it?
I'm now still using 10.3.6.0 ...
Frustrating ... Before i really Loved my Mi A3.
