Poll: do you still have your X2? Please vote in the poll.
Yes and still my daily driver for almost 3 years now.
Running KangVIP Slim B212 V4
Yes, but now it isn't my daily phone... It works as small tablet for my dear wife.
Yes, daily driver since 2015 even with a 2nd cracked aftermarket screen because all aftermarket screens have an extremely thin GLASS digitizer whereas the OEM is a strong PLASTIC one.
Until this day, I have not been able to find a phone that is comparable to the X2 having a 7in screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and battery size of at least 5000 mAh. Please post if you know of any!

The closest phone to the X2 is the Mate 20 X (it's what I'm using now) It's only 18:9 aspect ratio but has a 5,000mah battery, stereo speakers and a 7.2" AMOLED screen and the best cameras in the game. It's the best device I've ever owned.
Thanks AJ for the quick reply. The Huawei Mate 20X screen width is 0.6" smaller than that of the X2 which is tempting.
I wonder if there is anything else on the horizon...

Hi again everyone and hope you are doing well. Just reviving this thread to ask what people are using these days that is comparable to our old beloved X2. Looks like the closest device is the Huawei Mate 20 X...
@trurl3 @Rhonald @ajsmsg78
Still using it as daily driver. Found nothing as confortable on screen size, except foldable phones maybe, but so expensive. ..

Thanks for the quick reply DJiban. I was hesitantly thinking about the Huawei Mate 20 X but as I see the bootloader can't be unlocked and it can't be rooted that is a dealbreaker for me...

I've had a bunch of phones since I got the X2. I still have the X2 but due to it not getting any service here in the US and the fact that it has gotten really slow, I keep it in the drawer.
Currently I have a Galaxy S21 Ultra (16GB/512GB) and 2 Poco F3's (8GB/256GB). I'm thinking of selling the S21 Ultra and one of the Poco's and buying a Galaxy Fold 3 and using it as my daily and using the Poco F3 as my backup.
The only we we're going to be able to use a tablet phone is by buying a foldable. The one thing that angers me is that all of these cell phones are almost the same. They are all about the same size, all have the same features, crappy curved screens etc. It would be nice if a manufacturer did something different like release a new phone with a 16:9 aspect ratio or something close to that. I could imagine it would sell if it were the only one on the market but these manufacturers continue to released redundant products then wonder why they don't sell as many.

AJ, you feel the exact same way as I did when I posted the message above in 2019 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/do-you-still-have-your-x2.3890739/post-79029346) and even before that. All phones made today are sausage-shaped and narrow. In terms of display, its all about screen width - the maximum screen width that can be found today on a device with relatively normal specs is 3.1" whereas the X2 is 3.7" and this seems to make all the difference. The only exception is foldable devices which are astronomical in price and therefore a no-go. I may have just went with a Huawei Mate 20 X just for now until one day they release a device with a bigger screen-width, but it can't be rooted. The 3 things I'm looking for in a device with newer specs primarily are:
* Screen width of ~3.6" and size of ~7"
* Battery 5000mAh+ preferably Li-Po
* Cellular bands that provide me with adequate signal. Here in Canada Bands #4,7,12 are a must but preferably 2,4,5,7,12,13,17,29 (https://www.signalbooster.com/pages/what-are-4g-lte-frequencies-bands-of-telus-rogers-bell)
Everything else such as battery saving techniques can be adjusted via software.
NEWS UPDATE: A few months ago in Feb 2021, someone has apparently managed to unlock the Bootloader of many Huawei devices so there may be hope for the Huawei Mate 20 X w/ Kirin 980 to be unlocked sometime in the future:
Dozens of Huawei and Honor devices with Kirin processors can now be bootloader unlocked

There are a few mid-ranges like Oppo R2 plus, Lenova is just Phab, but a good truly modifiable flag ship type phone seems out of grasp (your mileage may vary). My only thought is that a 7 inch screen with a 16:10 ratio IS the sweet spot for me, so if it's any smaller or bigger I'm not really interested. Unfortunately that rather restricts my choices, so it's a good job I'm happy with my X2 for now!

When I purchased my X2 I actually wanted a P8 Max but the price was too high for me to drop the money on since it still didn't have LTE support here as well as the X2 having a larger battery helped make my decision. The Phab plus has too small of a battery for me to think about buying one. If the Mate 8 comes with full LTE support I'd probably buy one of those as well as the P9 Max. I'm looking for my next purchase to have LTE support as well as band 12 support now that it's pretty prevalent here on Long Island where I live. I'd like something around 6.2" to use as a daily driver and something 6.8 to 7 inches to use as well. I'll probably just stick to the X2 because I like it a lot. My Nexus 6 doesn't get the best battery life and that's the main reason I will sell it. Oh, and it's ONLY 6", lol. The problem is, on many forums I see people complaining that a phone is too big and they ask how others can use something so big. That annoys me as there are PLENTY of smaller phones out there as well as plenty of 5.5-5.7 inch phones as well but not too many over 6 inches.
The 24th and 26th coming up for some announcements.
I don't know if the P9 Max will be discussed or held until MWC.
I was on a trip this week and the lack of LTE really impacted me, compared to my work iPhone (blehck).
Ok, the Mate 8 is outted formally
Wow. If the 8 follows the Mate S trend to support the ATT/GSM frequency bands, this graduates from could buy to must buy. Only the P9 Max vaporware would hold me back.
Happy Thanksgiving all.

If the Mate 8 comes to my country (U.S.) then I will definitely be buying one to replace my Nexus 6. Then hopefully the P9 Max or Mediapad X3 support LTE here and if they do I'll be buying one of those as well. I'm really liking the design of some of these Chinese phones. They are much nicer than almost all the stuff they force down your throat here in the U.S and the batteries are much larger.

Agreed, somehow the Chinese phones have adopted a modern looking industrial design than what Samsung and LG are putting out in their flagship products. The design of the X2 attracted me immediately, as it looks like what I hoped the 2013 Nexus 7 would be. And it's a phone as well!
Anyway, I'm really liking the designs that Huawei, Meizu and Xiaomi are coming out with these days. I remember having a Meizu M6 MP3 player almost 10 years ago that had a surprisingly compelling design that mixed the iPod Nano and iPod Video. Them were the days: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meizu_M6_miniPlayer

I will trade in my Note 4 for a Mate 8 and maybe X2 for an X3 predicated on US LTE support. I agree the designs are going upscale, and beating the US in battery and other Phablet features. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Gionee GN8001 would sell here I think if local LTE supported.

The screenshot says it has a 16:10 2560x1600 screen but the article says it has a 16:9 2560x1440 screen. Which one is it? I'm guessing it's 16:9 as 1440p panels are likely more common at that screen size than 1600p. Either way, I think 1440p/1600p panels make more sense on larger screens than on the current crop of 5-5.7 inch phones.
I hope Huawei doesn't discontinue the Mediapad X series however, just because it is so unique.
Review of LeTV Le Max. More disappointing than I expected. http://www.androidheadlines.com/2015/12/featured-review-letv-le-max-x900.html
Xperia Z6 will include an Ultra version with a 6.4 inch screen. The last Xperia Z Ultra phone was in 2013, with a 1080P 6.44" screen.

I saw that today also. There is a press conference at CES which was thought to be tge Z5 Ultra. I owned the Z Ultra and has been painful watching the 5 successive models go by. We'll see what rumors come true.
For some reason I have never liked Sony's Phones. I had a Z Ultra before the X2 and hated it so much I returned it. I hated the bezels being too large, I hated the undersized battery and I especially hated the door for the MicroUSB charger which ended up falling off constantly. If new Z Ultra has less bezel and a large battery I'd consider picking one up though.

I'm kinda' anti-sony now, regardless. They were always good with replacement phones but my last one they said sorry, won't even fix (for the price of one on swappa). At this point I think a new Ultra may never come out despite Z5 & Z6 rumors. They didn't pan out for Z2 Ultra, Z3 Ultra, Z4 Ultra. It's actually part of the reason I'm waiting on you getting the 702L. I bricked the last "extra" ultra and don't want to do same with the 702L, which is more than a hold over phone with all the improvements by you and in the forum.

HA, I bricked the Ultra as well but not with software. I bought one of those magnetic charging cables for it and plugged it in upside down (it never said anywhere it couldn't be plugged in either way) and the phone shut off and that was all she wrote.
Yup, I was considering getting the Google Play edition of the Z Ultra, but the lack of camera flash (??!) and the enormous top and bottom bezels made it a non-starter. Part of me also thinks that a Z6 Ultra will ultimately be vaporware.
Sony Mobile isn't doing well at all, and I don't see how they would risk their brand name by attaching it to so many different models.

I forgot about the camera not having a flash. That was a big thing as well as I use the flash for a flashlight all the time. Let's hope they learned from their mistakes (although even the new models they just put out still have huge bezels.

No, that can't be legit. I think they have mistaken it for an X2, the X3 won't be out for a few more months. I hope they don't use a 4K screen, 1080P is fine especially with the crazy battery life we get now.
If that is legit, with specs like that and no 4glte band for the usa, I am going to stick with my x2. Only features that would win me over would be a finger print reader, better camera, built in wireless charging, nfc, and the Internation version being showed more attention by huawei dealing with updates. Then I would think about it. I would highly doubt it would be selling ($459) for that price. Hardware like that would make it the fastest fablet every. Just like comparing the LeTV Le Max 2 (when it is released) to the rest of the phones. And you know that will be about $800-$900. China Need to shake hands with google and start putting thoses gapps properly on these phones. Would improve sales 100 times over.

I agree about the battery life. The X2 is the best phone I have ever had. There is a bit of discoloration on my screen (I think the hanging air freshner hit the scree too many times), plus my "phone period" is acting up, so I'm starting to drool over the X3. I do agree though that 1080p on a 7 inch screen is plenty. Anything higher won't add any value. I mean if I wanted 4k, i'd buy an 80 inch TV

There will never be 4G LTE US bands. The phone was never designed for North American markets. Actually, I find that HSDPA is more than sufficient for 99% of the tasks, including watching YouTube. I actually bought a nexus 6 SPECIFICALLY to get 4G LTE and I couldn't stand it. It was clear the mediapad is a far superior device even at HSDPA+, so I returned the nexus in a hurry.
What I would LOVE to see in the X3:
1.) More RAM. Android keeps killing my background apps as part of its memory management.
2.) Better camera (yes I know the mediapad X2 has excellent cameras), but icing on the cake is a good thing right?
3.) EMUI (I actually like it). Please please Huawei don't F**** with something that works
4.) Google apps built in
and finally
5.) 4G LTE Us Bands (I know I know this won't happen, but I can dream right?)

Oh, and speaking of the Le max 2, I just looked it up (haven't heard of it before)
http://www.gizchina.com/2015/09/30/letv-le-max-2-specs-rumoured-to-include-6gb-ram-snapdragon-820-imx300/
I lost interest as soon as I read this sentence: "5.7-inch 2K display"
5.7? What is this 1983? I may as well go back in time, Back-To-The-Future style and get a (GAG ME) iPhone!
I think I'm picking up a Huawei Mate 8 to go alongside my X2's. It has the LTE Bands for the US supposedly and even has band 12 for T-Mobile.

Just looked it up. Really nice specs. I also like the design language Huawei used.
Only one problem (for me): Its TINY! I returned the nexus 6 (even though its about as good of an android phone as it gets) because it was way too small for me

I agree. I have a nexus 6 as well but I don't use it that much because the X2 battery is worlds better and the X2 pulls in a better signal most of the time. The problem is when I go to any wedding or party or the city it's sometimes hard to carry the X2 with me as I can't really sit down with it in my pocket. The Nexus 6 also has a better camera so I take it with me a lot of times. So I like to have both a 7 inch phone and a 6 inch smaller phone to carry with me sometimes. I'm selling the 6 to a friend and getting the 64GB Mate 8.

Nice! Yes, Android updates aside the Mate 8 is way better than nexus 6. I wasn't really impressed much with the nexus 6. Nice phone at all, but it seems mediapad x2 is much more of a premium device, even with the lack of US 4G LTE.
I use my mediapad as a daily driver and watch youtube even when in the car (it helps immensely with my school work or when I'm driving to go take a calculus test). I tried doing that with the nexus and it became apparent a 6" is far too small. Heck I even had a Z Ultra (awesome phone btw) but I felt it was too small

Just for curiosity - how much would you be willing to pay for a device with such specs ? Because I would also seriously consider it also
I'll just wait for the X4 coz our x2 will still get a sweet marshmallow update soon. If that x3 will have bezelfree screen and significantly lighter (maybe 200g) then it will be very tempting to buy it asap.

No Gapps and usa lte $550 because of the of the performance. My honor x2 is a fast phone. I would sell this for $325 and put $225 to it. now with usa lte and gapps, I would have to wait, it would cost $1000 or better. look at the price of the nexus 6 and 6p.

http://www.ainol-novo.com/huawei-mediapad-x3-phablet.html They put them out fast as lighting. I still wish they would add some more bands to it. They will be available soon.
I have the mediapad x2 and I thought for sure I would get the mediapad x3 when it comes out but I decided to wait for Samsung's 8 inch phone(Galaxy Tab s3 8.0 LTE) that comes out in Sept or Oct of this year instead. 7 inch phones are just too tiny for me now, probably gonna get a 9 inch phone next year if Samsung makes one.
This thread seems pretty active so... thought I would ask you pros.
When i reference this page: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4988
It shows bands 2/4 for HSPA+.
When I look at this page: http://consumer.huawei.com/en/tablets/tech-specs/mediapad-x2.htm
It shows that it supports GSM/UMTS band 2 (I don't know which of these HSPA+ would fall into). I'm pretty sure that T-Mobile Band 2 is area specific and isn't nation-wide, am I SOL in terms of being able to get this awesome device for T-Mobile?
EDIT.. maybe I'm thinking of band 2 lte specifically. idk.
alright found another thread, sorry guys ignore this question.
Hi
today Huawei announced mediapad m2 7.0, and it's the device that was rumored to be the mediapad x3
its design and most specs are similar to the current x2, the main differences are :-
comes in a wifi version, and dual sim LTE option
have a fingerprint sensor
snapdragon 615 processor
less battery capacity, 4360
it have the same screen and cameras, it's not a big step from the current device.
the battery capacity is sadly a downgrade, and if the device came with a more power efficient 14nm processor then we might get a better battery life even with the smaller battery (but sadly we're getting the old snapdragon 615)
I care a lot for the fingerprint sensor so I think I will recommend the new one going forward instead of the x2
another notable point is that this device comes with Android 5.1 , this is amazing how it's not with Android 6, with its screen size it have to get android N for the proper multitasking.
source of the news
http://www.phonearena.com/news/Huaw...ngerprint-sensor-octa-core-SoC---more_id80762
I found a video of the device, I guess mediapad lite is another name for it
https://youtu.be/fdrCpW8lncE
omg does the snapdragon mean this one could get cyanogenmod?

It's possible but with CM always being buggy i'm not sure if it would be good thing. Then again EMUI is just as buggy so.....
Maybe this one the additional bands could be unlocked to get 4G LTE in the US if possible.
the specs isn't as good apart from the fingerprint sensor. The x2 is still more powerful coupled with its bigger batterycapacity. I'll just wait patiently for the proper mediapad X3.

That's a good question. I will look into it. I am on the Huawei Community, I will ask the powers to be at Huawei.
It's real but has no US LTE support. If it did I'd jump on it. Her'es the M2 7.0 Lite (youth)
http://www.gizok.com/huawei-mediapad-m2-lite.html
http://www.gizok.com/huawei-honor-x3.html
Comments by the seller here say their x3 listing is populated from TENAA certification information.
Hopefully this is true, it's sucks to be waiting for the supposed x3 for so long knowing I could pick up a m2-7 right now.
Hello I am digging out this old thread, because a user of the M2 7.0 did confirm me that you cannot make phonecalls without using headset or speakers .
For me it's quite a difference with a successor of X3 !!
Do you think I misunderstood, and that the M2 is rally usable on your ear, like a phone (same as X2)?

Unfortunately in M2 there is not separate spekaer for phone calls . So YOU CAN make phone calls only if you want everybody in vincinity to hear your respondent.
GSMArena side-by-side specifications comparison
I'm posting this thread from the perspective of someone who owns and loves an Honor 8, and is having to evaluate these 2 devices as the primary options for my next phone.
Key differences:
LTE bands: H9 (Europe: 1,3,5,7,8,20) vs OP5 (1,2,3,4,5,7,8,12,17,18,19,20,25,26,28,29,30,38,39,40,41,66)
Body size: H9 (147.3 x 70.9 x 7.5) vs OP5 (154.2 x 74.1 x 7.3)
Screen size: H9 (5.15) vs OP5 (5.5)
Screen type: H9 (IPS) vs OP5 (AMOLED)
Chipset: H9 (Kirin) vs OP5 (Snapdragon)
Cameras: Objective differences are irrelevant for cameras, we'll just have to wait on side-by-side comparison reviews, preliminarily it looks like these may have similar quality.
Storage: Internal (same), MicroSD: H9 (Yes) vs OP5 (No)
Infrared: H9 (Yes) vs OP5 (No)
Key factors:
- The Honor 8 was significantly less expensive than the OnePlus 3T; the Honor 9 is the same price as the OnePlus 5.
- The Honor 8 had a significantly better camera than the OP 3T; the Honor 9 is looking to be similar to the OP 5.
- Price: The Honor 8 was about 25-50% less expensive than the OP 3T; the Honor 9 is the same price as the OP 5.
- No MicroSD slot in the OP 5
It's unfortunate, because I really like my Honor 8, but I don't think the Honor 9 is a good purchase compared to the OnePlus 5. Pretty much all over the internet and social media I have told people to buy an Honor 8 (and instead of a OnePlus 3T) but I don't think I can carry over that recommendation to this generation of phones. If the Honor 9 launches in the US with appropriate LTE bands and at a price 25-30% lower than the OnePlus 5, it will be a close decision on what to buy. But at the current pricing, I think the OnePlus 5 is the clear choice between the two.
Thoughts? What are you all planning to do?
I used to have the Honor 8, but I had to get rid of it because I couldn't stand the software, even after Android 7 update. I was able to simply swipe past the Android Device Manager lost phone screen because it wasn't integrated right with EMUI. There were other issues like bluetooth delayed syncing. The software experience from stock Android is just so much better so I would recommend waiting for the OnePlus 5T in October.
I ended up buying the Note 5 Duos after using the G6, after deciding to not get the S8. All of these four phones (Note5, G6, Honor9, OP5) have the same price and should be considered. It's crazy because I found I tolerate the Samsung UI with Android 7 more than LG, and some of the features like changing to 720p and 1080p resolution are killer features for me.

for me... the microSD killed any chance of me getting a OnePlus 5. in some parts of the world (like where i live), mobile data isn't cheap and fast. doing things "on the cloud" just don't cut it. so, i'd love to have as much storage as possible. also, with camera now able to record at high resolution, it will take up space. i'm not the type that wanna copy out my videos every few days. i can be lazy and do it once every few weeks or so. so, again, storage means a lot to me and having microSD is wonderful.
but... i'm also a AMOLED fan. sadly, i think only time i've seen huawei/ honor with amoled is on the P9Plus. i do hope huawei will look into manufacturing AMOLED screens. having said that, between microSD and AMOLED. i would pick microSD anytime.
one consideration that probably weighs in as important is the size. 5.5" vs 5.2" is quite a big difference.
I've heard very good of OP5, despite I don't like they've increased the price so much. Previous versions were more tight. The starting price of 500€ is not good.
The Honor 9 looks good option, cheaper (449€) and including a sports band. About performance and camera still not sure...
OP5 has 6 GB of RAM and AMOLED display.
Honor 9 has micro SD card support, infrared and is cheaper.
Still considering Xiaomi Mi 6... Which also has infrared, 6 GB of RAM and it's the cheapest of all three.
Thoughts please?

Looks like sports band action is over, there is no more banner on vmall.eu store.
In mean time you still could have 30 EUR cashback until 4 of August. Which brings price of phone to 400 EUR.

It's weird, that may be the case for Germany... In Spanish shop you still have the band, nothing about the cashbacks.
Anyway cashback is not common practice in Spain.
I definitely think I'll take this phone.

I've heard that screen is not enough bright. Can you confirm/deny?

Maybe for the short-term, but not necessarily for the longterm. OnePlus has been a real trend (very attractive) for the past years. They have suddenly increased a lot the price, so lot of people will see it a little bit less interesting.
However Honor is proving to be right on the mid-range price but with good results and feedback from people (from what I've heard/read). I'm quite recent to check about Honor (and probably will buy it this week) but first thing I saw in here is that you have a few ROMs for the Honor 8. It means that we will probably have even more for the Honor 9... and once you have CM or Lineage more will definitely come. :good:

I'd rather have a phone that works properly, development will grow with time let's not forget it's only just been released and didn't even need an update on release and still hasn't as it doesn't need atm everything working as it should 3 updates the op5 had from release and still problems, I lost faith in 1+ after 3 devices all had different issues, and support is lame,

Well, that's case by case, though. Honor 8 certainly has received more love than its litter brother, Honor 6X. Honor 6X's Android N is not coming out soon due to no source yet from HUAWEI for EMUI5.
Huawei is releasing many devices a year, not sure what is their detailed policy...

In my experience many devices per year is not a good strategy... unless you have the muscle of Samsung for instance.
I look to Elephone... awful experiences always (different people), is there is always something that won't work after a short period. And there is no support at all. With every new device, the promise a lot: updates, custom ROMs,... nothing of that has ever happened. Devices are simply forgotten after the launching.
Xiaomi is somehow different, since they keep updating MIUI for their devices even after some long time. My Redmi Note 2 Prime is still getting updates (despite still using Android 5.0.2 as the core).
About OP I've heard mixed reactions. A friend is really happy with the OP5, not a single issue for the time being. For every model people tells me "When I got it, it wasn't working very fine, I was even thinking on selling or returning it, but after the official OTA update, it's a new phone and now it's working amazingly well"... but still they increased the price too much.
For the moment I've received and read very good feedback about Honor. So I'll take the bet! I'm travelling now, so will order just before arriving home next week

Well, good luck for you on Honor. :highfive:
You will find EMUI is different from MIUI, but not a lot. And HUAWEI does have some unique apps to try on.
Hahaha thanks @jerryhou85 I really hope to enjoy it
I don't buy phones, where the screen is build in upside-down. Waited so long for OP5 since I am a OPO user but I started a collection thread about bugs and decided to go with Honor
Sent from my Honor 9 using XDA Labs
Hey, I have $250 to drop on a new phone.
I was gonna grab the unlocked Moto G5 Plus, but then I read about its "tinny" sounding camera.
I was also thinking about the HTC One M9, but that seems to be the exact opposite.. dual, stereo, speakers, but lacks performance multitasking.
I only use my phone for internet, music and just basic functions. I don't care about a quality camera, I don't play games and don't want a screen larger than 5" (tho it seems like I need to settle on 5.2" to get a half decent phone).
With this information, does anyone have any suggestions on a phone?
Thanks.
I don't think you can beat the unlocked (no ads) 64gb version of the Moto G5plus on sale right now for just $224 on Amazon right now.
My wife has that phone and I've played with it some. I just bought an Honor 8, but that was before the current sale on the G5 plus. You would be hard pressed to find a Honor 8 in the <2 $250 range and the two phones are very close in operation IMHO. All this to say I don't think you will be disappointed in the G5 plus.

There are multiple (like 20-30) threads in the Moto G5 Plus forums regarding the poor quality/low volume if the G5 Plus. It's unclear if it's the speaker that's feeble or a software issue that an update could fix.
Huawei P10 Lite was recommended and it seems pretty solid. However, it doesn't come with Gorilla Glass, nor does it specify what type of protective glass is has, if any. I've never really heard of Huawei before, which makes me a bit hesitant.
Huawei builds good phones. The only complaint or negative with them is the lack of developer support here on XDA. This is because they use their own processor design called the Kirin and Huawei has historically released few tools to help developers.
They do offer unlocked versions that can be bootloader unlocked and rooted quite easily. I found that the 5.0.1 EMUI Rom on my Honor 8 is pretty good. I definitely wanted to root it to get ad blockers, Viper4android, etc, but I don't feel a need to change the ROM. If you are a hard core tweaker and want the ability to change to the latest and greatest Rom, don't get the Huawei. Otherwise you will be fine.
PS - I have to laugh because your signature says you use a Huawei Prism. Perhaps you know Huawei better than you think.

Nah uh?! Haha. Did know I even had a signature.. at least it doesn't show up, on my end, in any of my posts.
Now that I think about it, I vaguely remember owning one, although it was a bottom of the barrel budget phone, where this one is a mid-range.
It's too bad that the 4gb version of the P10 Lite aren't available in the states; they only gave us the 3gb model. Does that one extra GB make a big difference? I'm pretty sure all the reviews and performance tests I've seen are for the 4gb.
Are there any other comparable phones to the P10 Lite? I'm batting 1000 when it comes to breaking screens, so the fact that it does have Gorilla Glass or even the scratch resistant screen coating worries me. I've read that buying and applying Gorilla Glass does take well to the P10 Lite due to its wrap around screen. This true?
