Can someone please make a boot animation for the rooted gingerbread theme.I was think something like the samsung galaxy s boot ,but a green x instead.and post the zip.it be awesome thank in a advance.

you can just install one like any other in 2.2 i believe just search the internet for one and install via clockwork!

no it doesnt have to be 2.3.3 all you have to do is place it where any other boot animation goes, either data/local or /system/media
Can some one post a zip of the stock font for the droid charge? I am currently on a theme and would just like the stock font. I would like to flash the zip via. CMW thanks.

hello as stated in the title, when u lock de screen does ur original i9003 phone, no root, no custom kernel or rom, have a "tv closing" animation? or do u get it when u flash a certain rom or kernel, thks in advance appreciates ur replies!
Have you previously flashed something before before you noticed this? custom ROMs? anything? I'm guessing you flashed a zip file that enabled the animation.

Actually in every GB rom the crt animation is included but its deactivated. You can simply turn it on by editing framework-res.apk
send from gt-i9003 using android keyboard
It's not available in the stock rom by default. The easiest way is to flash one of the custom themes that has the Old CRT off Animation

Download your favorite bootanimation and place it in System/media after properly renaming it i.e 'bootanimation.zip'

You can also try AndroidBoot Animation Changer. Just drop the bootanimation.zip into the zip and flash it in recovery.

I am looking for a way to remove the lockscreen tint. I know @Tulsadiver 's mod works on stock, but I am using a custom rom that bootloops when I try to use it. I was wondering what the manual way to remove it would be.

If you want to upload your framework- res.apk and systemui.apk, I'll take a look.

Thanks, it flashes fine, but still fades to the black tint on lockscreen.
