Just installed same update

Finally, sound notification bug is fixed!

Can i flash it in Skyline(with TWRP)?Probably not,since it's modified ROM,but can,if i at least put back stock recovery?

F&ck, i am getting old.. now how to install this update via magisk?

If rooted follow twrp guide to OTA in u11+ or u11 twrp thread.
You need to flash back stock recovery or something
Or wait for the full RUU

What do you mean via magisk?
If your cid and mid are in the list you should receive ota and install automatically

They've also managed to update security patch to November 2018. Not bad going. Must be a year since they created the notification bug.

I have not had any problems, it works like a charm, battery included.

I have system.ui fc.

I noticed after upgrading to 1.24.401.12 that the dialer is displaying faulty buttons (text of button sim 2 is missing when to dail a number) AND thr hang up button stalls when phone is connected to your car though Android Auto. Anybody else experiencing same issues ?

Hi, I have an unlocked bootloader and rooted via Magisk patched boot image. What is the correct procedure for installing this OTA ?
Is it enough to flash back from fastboot the original boot image ? (Recovery is still the original stock one.)
But in case I have some modification in the system partition (for enabling VoLTE for my carrier) what is the procedure ?
Do I have to flash back the original system image extracted from the RUU ? Is it sufficient ? Will my data remain untouched ?
Thank you!

Ok and where can I download this recovery?
How to put it?
How I can apply this via bootloader? Im running 3.32.401.5_R with superCID and s-off with stock recovery too. Completely stock and not rooted.
Available here in Germany as well. Installed it without any issues. Everything seems to be working as expected, GSM Call, HSDPA connection and WiFi all working. Seems that HSDPA reception is a bit better, tested this within an elevator were I usually dropped of the network, this time even data transfer was possible...might be the weather but perhaps an improvment...

Wrong, this update was available for my Sensation XE tonight
I didn't test it because it needs recovery stock (what I do not have at this time), so I get the *** red exclamation mark.

Serious Problem With Phone. Completely Lost & Desperately Need Help!

Hi guys
Basically I purchased a One S today second hand and have run into a massive problem. Basically I'm used to having an sd card and ended up accidental wiping the backup that I had of my stock rom. Totally my fault but now I have no ROM installed and cannot seem to do anything about it.
I can't seem to get adb to work (maybe because usb debugging is disabled?)
I have tried to flash roms such as
Ville_Europe_3.16.401.8_OTA_UPDATE_Stock_Rooted_ODEX_FULL
OTA_Ville_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.16.401.9-3.16.401.8_release_314502nkooijnhkglckupn
These should be the correct ones given my CID is HTC_001 and my phone is an unbranded one. I have tried flashing them directly from
TWRP, ADB Sideload on the One S Toolkit, and also the "flash factory RUU Zip."
I keep getting various errors such as
In TWRP “zip verification failed”
Then when I turn zip verification off, I get “Error executing updater binary in zip”
I get the error when trying to flash via the toolkit.
“FAILED (remote: 24 parsing android-info fail)”
I am sure these are the correct roms for my cid, so I’m at a loss at what I can do.
I think I need a stock recovery to flash a stock RUU, but I can’t find a way to flash the stock recovery back since I can’t get adb to work. The drivers installed are the correct ones and it was working before this problem occurred.
Here are my bootloader details
Tampered & Unlocked
VLE PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-2.15.0000
RADIO-1.11.50.05.28
OPENDSP-v31.1.0.45.0015
eMMC-boot
Dec 14 2012.17.10:57: 12687
Toolbox seems to recognise it and I can attempt to flash but the roms just don’t seem to work. ADB just doesn’t list my device and I think this may have something to do with USB debugging.
It has been several several hours now and I really am stuck and extremely frustrated and just don’t know what to do next and it’s beginning to feel like this is money down the drain. I have search online for hours but can’t seem to find anything that’ll work for me.
I would really appreciate some help if possible 
Thanks in advanced

As far as I'm aware they're the latest ones. It worked earlier when I flashed the stock recovery back, but doesn't work now ever since I foolishly wiped everything.
Oh, ah you tried to flash OTAS. That won't work without any RUU. Choose the right RUU for your device, relock your bootloader and run the .exe
Btw. I never had to flash the stock recovery before running a RUU...

For running a RUU you have to relock your bootloader. Many devices need stock recovery for that, so try the steps from the post above....

Stuck in bootloader

Hello everyone!
I've a problem.
I have an HTC One S(S3) with Unlocked Bootloader and S-ON.
Now I'm stuck in HTC logo(with some red words).
I can't run the Rom, I can't go in recovery(exclamation mark appear).
But I can go in bootloader.
So, I tried to install an RUU but the executable file return the [132] error(signature).
Have you a solution?
Thank you and sorry for bad english.

Hm, info product vle also sounds like s4.
But back on topic: What did you (try) to do?
Edit: Before you run the ruu?
Basic path I would follow:
* flash stock kernel
* flash stock recovery
If that doesn't work:
* flash custom recovery
* MAKE BACKUP
* SAVE BACKUP
* install stock or custom ROM
* restore data from backup
Did you locked before you runned RUU?
If not, try.
Look on your package of your phone on the backside, which model you have.
Z560e -> S3
Z520e -> S4
Did you updated to Jelly bean?
If yes, any RUU for S3 won't work!
Try to flash a custom recovery (please take twrp 2.3.x.x). It must work.
And then you must flash a custom Rom. Take Liberty Rom or Paranoid Android. And after you flashed the custom recovery, flash the boot.img, cause you are S-ON. If you can start your phone now, make a Backup in TWRP and save the backup on your PC.
If all of these Steps were succesfull, send me a PN. I will send you a Tutorial, made by @khan.orak, how to flash stock rom via OTA!
But first of all, try my beginning steps.
Good Luck, and pay attention: send us all of the error Logs. We need them!

Hey, i have exactly the same problem.
I got a S4 version, S-ON and stuck in the bootloader.

Copy and installation were ok but when my phone is rebooting nothing appears except the HTC logo.
What am i doing wrong ?

Find a ROM for S4.
You're in the way to brick your Phone! DONT FLASH S3 roms!
Flash a S4 rom and flash boot.img/kernel of that rom. It'll flash fine and reboot fine then.

I want kill the old owner. he said me that it's an S3 model. Why I had to doubt?
I'm sure it's an S4 model because the RUU S4 run good and complete the installation(same for a twrp for S4).
Now there is another problem. After I installed the RUU, it reboot continually.
Whats' worng? it maybe an Hardware problem? :crying:
In TWRP it doens't reboot but when "htcOne" logo appear, after a second it reboot again and again and again.

Hi everyone,
I have a similar problem. I am also in a bootloop. And due to Hboot 2.15 and the lack of a RUU supporting my phone (T-mobile branding CID T-MOB101) I can't get back to stock. Unfortunately I can't get into any recovery, neither twrp, cmw nor stock recovery. I've flashed several twrp versions a couple of times but always when I select recovery in the bootloader the phone returned into the bootloop. After flashing the custom recovery I also used "fastboot erase cache" and flashed the boot.img.
Does anyone know how I can get TWRP or CWM up and running in order to be able to flash a custom rom?
Thank you in advance.

On www.cyanogenmod.org there is a good tutorial on how to install CM on the Ville with TWRP.

[S-Off] Convert to HTC USA Unlocked 1.12.617.6

this guide is probably not user friendly. im a long time htc user, and am just showing how i successfully converted my ATT A9 to the USA Unlocked A9 version 1.12.617.6
this should work for any A9 with the MID: 2PQ912000
if you have another MID like 2PQ910000, it may work but i cannot test -see step 2b (thanks @alray)
i also cannot test to see if this ACTUALLY unlocks the phone, because i dont have a nanosim from another carrier
finally, i am not responsible if you mess your device up and make it unusable, this worked for me.
i used SuperCID, 11111111, but this also may work with the cid of the unlocked phone, BS_US001.
Note: if youre using a different cid and/or mid you will not be able to install OTA updates. (thanks @htconeXX and @JochenP)
Extra Note: if you used superCID already, you can change it and try OTA again without reflashing, given you have not modified /system (tested by me)
prerequisites:
1.12.617.6 RUU: Here
drivers, bootloader unlocked from htcdev, s-off using sunshine YES PAY FOR IT IT WORKS AND THEYRE GREAT PEOPLE theroot.ninja
fastboot and ability to use command line
steps:
step 1: boot into DOWNLOAD MODE
this is the BLACK SCREEN that you can get to from the bootloader
from cmd, run
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
(or use the hardkey method)
which which will take you to the WHITE BOOTLOADER SCREEN
from there, navigate to "reboot to download mode" using the volume buttons and select with the power button
or
by turning off the phone, and holding the power + volume down buttons until you see the htc logo
step 2 change cid
once youre in the BLACK DOWNLOAD MODE screen, from your computer run
Code:
fastboot oem writecid BS_US001
from the command line (or fastboot oem writecid 11111111 for SuperCID)
(step 2b if your mid is something other than 2PQ912000 you can change it with the command
Code:
fastboot oem writemid 2PQ912000
which should allow you to flash the RUU (thanks @alray) )
then run
Code:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
step 3 go back into download mode, verify it says the cid youve chosen , and run the RUU you downloaded from above. follow the onscreen instructions to update your phone to 1.12.617.6
step4: re root, install recovery.
supersu BETA now supports /system-less root
you can find the TWRP flashible package here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64161125&postcount=3
SYSTEMLESS SUPERSU is no longer beta, its WIP, and the post can be found HERE
the most recent supersu as of 12/31/15 is v2.65
(any supersu should suffice, but you know what they say, latest is greatest)
First flash twrp
Code:
fastboot flash recovery <recovery.img>
then boot into recovery and FORMAT YOUR DATA PARTITION
IGNORE PASSWORD PROMPT
GOTO WIPE>FORMAT DATA> and TYPE YES
reboot recovery
then sideload <supersu>.zip you downloaded earlier
go to advanced> adb sideload in TWRP
then from your computer run
Code:
adb sideload <supersu>.zip
which will patch your bootloader, and root your device

Well with supercid s-off and stock unlocked rom, the 6.0.1 update will not take, downloads but wont install. I think I need to teh CID for a US unlocked phone.
cid AND mid

SU 2.65 Beta is out. I would recommend you use 2.64 system less from here on out anybody to start with. There are issues with 2.63 (non-systemless) and trying to then go system less. More steps to ensure a proper installation.
2.65 Beta you can install right on top of 2.64 Beta in TWRP recovery. I tested this, no issues.

Do NOT try to convert a Sprint/CDMA device! It will break completely break mobile data because the radio firmware is incompatible.

Dont worry men, in just few hours it will be somwhere to download ..one thing, i dont know but looks the screen more bright after update, the system very smooth and the battery drain problem over the network stanby seems gone... please post your impresions please
Yes, battery seams to drain slower now
I saved the boot.img through TWRP recovery and patched with magisk, in case someone need it just flash in download mode

@topjohnwu @TeHashX One question... Just received update is available. I rooted my u11 plus with Magisk and don't have twrp (don't need it right now) So if I install the update, I guess root will be lost. So I just have to do the same procedure? Only flash the patched boot.img that is posted here?
Exactly
But before apply ota please save the zip and share, thanks.

But before that I have to restore stock boot img with Magisk, right? Then take the Ota, then flash patched boot.img, then install Magisk and have root again?
No, I flashed directly with magisk, patched boot image and xposed

Ok, sorry for still asking... I download Ota and save zip. Then I restore stock boot img inside Magisk, then apply Ota. After reboot I patch the stock boot again with Magisk and flash the patched boot.img via fastboot in download mode... Right? ?
