But you must be rooted

Dont worry men, in just few hours it will be somwhere to download ..one thing, i dont know but looks the screen more bright after update, the system very smooth and the battery drain problem over the network stanby seems gone... please post your impresions please
Yes, battery seams to drain slower now
I saved the boot.img through TWRP recovery and patched with magisk, in case someone need it just flash in download mode

@topjohnwu @TeHashX One question... Just received update is available. I rooted my u11 plus with Magisk and don't have twrp (don't need it right now) So if I install the update, I guess root will be lost. So I just have to do the same procedure? Only flash the patched boot.img that is posted here?
Exactly
But before apply ota please save the zip and share, thanks.

I'm wondering if this may work...
Please don't follow anything that I posted here, I'm just asking and would like to know if this is possible.
Read on and tell me what you think
Isn't the problem of installing OTA updates is the Recovery used by ClockWork mod? Why not just flash in the stock recovery instead of ClockWork mod?
I don't know if that is possible, but I'll just say what I see and tell me if I'm wrong
The PG58IMG.zip used for flashing ClockWork mod, contained an image called "recovery.img" which is basically available for those CIDs
Code:
HTC__001
HTC__E11
HTC__032
HTC__102
HTC__Y13
HTC__203
HTC__405
HTC__N34
HTC__304
HTC__A07
HTC__016
HTC__J15
So, my CID is HTC__J15, can't I use the "recovery_signed.img" in the "rom.zip" of the RUU to flash my old recovery? I can't see why it may not be possilble of creating a "PG58IMG.zip" and write in an andoid-info.txt with this:
Code:
modelid: PG5813000
cidnum: HTC__J15
mainver: 1.34.415.1
hbootpreupdate:0
DelCache:1
or just flashing using ADB the recovery_signed.img and we're done?
What you think?
Please gently tell me if I'm wrong, I'm just willing to learn and know more about this
Thank you
You can flash any recovery through ADB using
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
where the file 'recovery.img' is the recovery file of your choice, which can be stock recovery, too.
You can get the update.zip from the OTA and use the option 'install update.zip' from custom recovery, I've never used this on the Sensation, but thats what we used to do back on the Desire HD forums.

Yes you can, absolutely. This is exactly what I did to get the OTA to work. I had CWM flashed so I created a PG58IMG.zip with the stock recovery image which i got from rom.zip. I then placed it on my SD card and booted in to the bootloader. Once stock recovery was back, the OTA update to 2.3.4 worked.

I have a sensation with hboot 1.18.0000 s-on
I have unlock the bootloader and install custom recovery!
When i power on the phone it fails(restart's)
Please help me!
Ok a little more information would be helpful. Do you still have the stock ROM on the device, I mean is the custom recovery all that you have installed? Have you tried booting to the bootloader and then to recovery?
I try to install a custom ics rom, isn't the stock one and i don't have a backup! Sorry for my bad english
The stock was a 2.3 gingerbread!
Ok I think I understand your problem now. Have you flashed the boot.img for the ROM via fastboot or did you enable Smart Flash for 4EXT Recovery? If not that is probably your problem. I say this because you are S-ON so that tells me you are HTC Dev unlocked which means you have to flash the boot.img differently than if you were full S-OFF.

Wait I just realized something. You said you are on Hboot 1.18.0000, which means you are still on the old firmware and you can not use ICS ROM. The process to gain S-OFF for Hboot 1.18.0000 is much simpler than for higher Hboot versions because you can use revolutionary. So before I go any further I need to know if you want to stay HTC Dev unlocked or if you want to be full S-OFF.

Ok here goes, you are still on the old firmware so you can not use a ICS or Jelly Bean ROM without updating your firmware. Now because you are S-ON you can not flash another firmware unless it is in a official update package. No let me cover your options here.
Option #1
You can just flash a Gingerbread ROM and then flash the boot.img and you will be back up and going.
Option#2
You can re install the stock recovery from here, you will have to extract the recovery from the zip file and flash it via fastboot commands. Then you can download and flash the official update from this thread[/URL}. You may have to open the zip file and then open the firmware.zip file and add your CID to the "android-info.txt" if it gives you a error about the wrong CID. below is what the "android-info.txt" has in it already, if you see your CID then you should have no problems.
Code:
modelid: PG5813000
cidnum: HTC__001
cidnum: HTC__E11
cidnum: HTC__N34
cidnum: HTC__203
cidnum: HTC__102
cidnum: HTC__405
cidnum: HTC__Y13
cidnum: HTC__A07
cidnum: HTC__304
cidnum: HTC__032
cidnum: HTC__016
mainver: 3.33.401.6
hbootpreupdate:1
After flashing this via the stock recovery your ROM you have on your device now should boot, but remember to reflash a custom recovery.
Option#3
You can relock your bootloader via HTC Dev and use [URL="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300"]this thread to gain full S-OFF and then just flash the 3.33 universal firmware package from this thread.. Afer that you can flash any ROM you want to and not have to flash the boot.img separate
If you think you ever will want to be full S-OFF I highly recommend you use Revolutionary before you change your Firmware as it is much easier to use than Juopunutbear.

If you are still having troubles try this ROM and see what it does I know it is the right kind of ROM to use with the firmware you have.
I did a wipe, then flash the rom, then flash the boot.img from cmd! and if i power normaly is continuously rebooting, when i enter bootloader-->recovery the phone is starting perfectly!
If you have not worked out your problem do the below quoted text is from the "Flashing roms with S-ON and 1.27 HBOOT" thread. Please do the below and post your firmware virsion.
Extra 2: Checking your exact firmware version
This can be useful if your phone is stuck in a bootloop, people who will try to help you will need this formation. You can find out your exact firmware version by doing the following;
If you can turn your phone on do the following:
Plug in your phone and make sure USB-debugging is enabled
Go to C:\Android or wherever your adb and fastboot are located
Shift right click in the white space on that folder
Select "Open command window here
Type in: adb
Type in: adb reboot-bootloader
Your phone will reboot, wait until you see a white screen which says "FASTBOOT USB"
Type in the command window: fastboot getvar all
From the list "version-main" represents your current firmware version

Maybe you should wipe cache and dalvik cache. Saved me once somehow.

The hboot downgrade is only for european phones. There is no RUU for your asia model. You have another radio.img.

That's sad news..
I think the problem is that my hboot cannot be downgraded, since the RUU issue can be solved using @russellvone 's method.
Anyway, thanks a lot!
You can update with a special firmware.zip. You need to backup your radio.img first, and replace it with the one inside the firmware.zip. Then you need to edit the model id in the android-info.txt of firmware.zip.
This must be flashed and then you can restore a european backup/rom.
Maybe @renanski still has his radio.img and can share it with us. He has also asia k2ul.

But when I run the RUU, I'm getting an "MODEL ID ERROR."
I tried to extract the rom from temp files (as instructed by @russellvone in the other thread) but I am always getting a corrupted zip.
There was another method mentioned in that thread, using an extractor, but unfortunately, I have no linux pc to run the program.
Maybe @wilson3q or any of you guys can share the rom file.
And please enumerate again the correct procedure in flashing, as I was not able to get it clearly on the other thread.
Please help.

This way is only for a model with existing RUU!
Lets try another way:
Download this firmware.zip: http://d-h.st/69V
Make sure, the android-info.txt is correct for your model id. Replace the radio.img inside, with the one from russel, the rename the firmware.zip to PL80IMG.zip and put it on your sdcard. Boot into bootloader, confirm to flash. After that, install twrp recovery and flash my stock odexed rom.

If you are S-On, then:
flash Rom via custom recovery after you have conducted a factory reset wipe from within your custom recovery, to include the system partition which can be found in the advance options if using TWRP.
Then, wipe dalvik cache and cache after it finishes
Then, reboot your bootloader, and via fastboot, flash the boot.img which would require you to extract it from the Rom and placing it where your proper adb/fastboot files are on your PC. Use this command:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
If you are S-Off, then just flash the Rom via custom recovery as explained above. You will not need to flash the boot.img via fastboot. Just wipe dalvik cache and cache after it finishes, and reboot your device.

You can flash this firmware update to fix your phone. It will set it back to HBOOT 2.15 and stock radio. Then you can run the stock RUU or flash a new custom recovery + rom
firmware.zip for T-MOB010--> LINK
Here is how to flash it --> GUIDE
You will need to charge your battery first as it has to be at least 30% charged. I'd suggest to charge it to 70% just to be safe.
Sounds like you got the same issue I got last year and only running a RUU fixed it.

You can flash this firmware update to fix your phone. It will set it back to HBOOT 2.15 and stock radio. Then you can run the stock RUU or flash a new custom recovery + rom

I assume you can get into the boot loader. Maybe lock the boot loader and run the RUU to get back to stock. Someone else chime in if you have better suggestions please.

Did you perform "factory reset / clear storage" in bootloader mode before you installed the custom recovery again?

OK, now I could be wrong but you being S-OFF means you can install any RUU. But obviously I would install one that matches the country/carrier and processor.

This is the matching RUU for taking your phone back to full stock --> LINK
You probably will need to flash the included recovery before you run the RUU.

Don't Flash CWM Latest.
Guys Don't flash CWM Lastest Version from its website. It doesn't work. Try TWRP 2.4 or above.

You can extract the stock recovery from an ota update or from a RUU. Look in the general section for the RUU collection thread.

If you can install the recovery from the OTA (provided that you have the correct OTA), that would be better for you.
