So after trying countless different "Beats Audio" zips on this site and not one single one working I have finally put together what I call Franken-Beats Audio. It takes files from all kinds of different Beats Audio zips (from the S3, the note 1, to the nexus, and S2) and now works 100% for me on my stock rooted n7100.
It's pretty self explanatory but here's some instructions...
1. Download zip below
2. Copy to SD card
3. Flash with cwm
4. Reboot
5. Settings, Sound, Music Effects, select DSPManager, Press OK.
6. Open DSPManager App, edit settings to your liking.
7. Use new "Music" app to play songs and enjoy!
*BUGS*
So far the only bug I see is that enabling "Dynamic Range Compression" lowers effect of other settings or disables them completely. Solution? Don't turn it on.
My personal settings I enjoy using with my own Beats headphones are as follows:
Bass Boost: Enabled - Moderate
EQ: Enabled - Flat
Everything else is off
If you find any bugs feel free to report them here. I'll try to work on it but it is working fine for me right now. This may or may not work on other roms, I haven't tested it on anything but stock rooted.

Does this mod only work with bundle music player ?

No I believe it works with the stock music player as well, but for the best results I would use the included player. I haven't tested it with anything else.

Can you test power amp?

Disable Direct Volume Control and it seems to work fine with PowerAmp

It improves the bass in PowerAmp. But I have to lower down high fq settings in the PA eq.

I prefer the bundled Music app which is from CM9, it just works and it's simple.

No just using some of those files like I said in the original post. I borrowed files from all over the place to get it working for me.
Edit: Actually I looked at the content of those files, they probably can just be deleted and it will still work fine. Looks to me like they have no effect on anything.

oh.. ok.. thx for clarification, will try on fresh install ROM.. because now I has been using MegaBassSound Mod (like I post before) from SGSIII.

Beats
Anyone using this with actual Beats Studio headphones? Sounds like poo.... IS this normal?

I use it with Studios, Pros, and Tours and it sounds fine with all of them.

The plugin works, but the DSP manager crashes. I get to set 1 option each time, and the app does set it, but crashes afterwards.
I have the international N7100 with ARHD and the Perseus kernel.

Might be a rom or kernel issue, it works for me on my stock rom fine... Just found out it also works on the note 1 for AT&T sgh-i717

If you go above 10 or 11 at that level it becomes distorted.

I haven't experienced it after that day, so please forget about that post. It did happen after boot though but i think that it conflicted with another audio manager.

I've had a couple of random fc's but nothing too bad. It's probably because you were using a different mod also.

yup in ace.... Should work in tab 2 also! But making a backup is recomended!

Nexus 4 Crdroid Bıild 6(CM11) + Piasek Kerel v7 AntutuBenchmark Score after 19556, before score 20286....
not a very big difference in terms of the score. There is a noticeable acceleration, and a great deal more.
I have not had a chance to try as sound, but hopefully I will give the room a successful conclusion.

This needed a separate post, I'm on PA, running Franco r201 with ART enabled and this mod is F**KING FANTASTIC. The headphone audio does sound better, I changed the animation speed back to .1 and it feels so much snappier, no placebo.

I tried this on xperia e but i have to keep my phone on silent mode because even if no media is playing there is that loud noise(like a radio on full volume set on wrong frequency)... How can i uninstall it? :-/

With the other sound mod for lollipop we need to do a little call of 1 seg to anybody for activate the effects of the sound, and with this mod i didnt do nothing and it is 100% great sound

One question, my clear phrase sometimes it turn off automatically, know why?

Is this mod compatible with other mods? I have Viper4Android pre-installed and can't find any settings or difference after flashing the files... Would love to try this mod.
Edit: Nevermind ... found it as described - in the Music app settings (works for Spotify too, likey) Sooooo Much better than A4V to my ears!

It does only add Z4 Speaker Files on your Z1, it does not Boosting him, because too high volume get you to speaker overheating

[MOD] TMO_N5_Surroud Sound [MOD]

TMO Note 5 Surround Sound​
This mod was created on a TMO Note 5. Please don't ask if it will work on anything else as I only tested it on my TMO N5. If you would like you can post your mixer_paths.xml and mixer_gains.xmlfiles, and as free time allows I will make the necessary changes for your variant.
VIPER- From my personal experience the Loud version of this mod may give you some issues such as more noise, crackling, etc if using with Viper or other sound boosting mods and apps... I would stick to the Stock, or Medium.
This mod will activate your handset speaker to be on at the same time as the main speaker creating a surround sound type effect while watching videos, you tube, playing music, etc...
PREREQUISITES
Rooted TMO Galaxy Note 5
DISCLAIMER
I am not responsible in any way for anything that happens to your device whether manually installing the files or flashing zip files for the surround sound mod. You do so at your own risk. I have tested this on my phone and it works great. Enjoy.
INSTALLATION
You can install this two ways your choice.
1. Download and flash the included zip using your custom recovery. To go back to stock download and flash the revert to stock zip included.
2. Download the zip. Extract the two files in the zip (mixer_paths.xml and mixer_gains.xml). In System/Etc, rename those same files with a .bak so that you will have them if you want to revert back to stock. Place the two .xml files from the zip in the same System/Etc folder and reboot.

Not sure...its easy to try if you want. Go to your system etc and copy mixer_paths.xml and mixer_gains.xml to your sd. Flash the zip. If it doesnt work take the 2 files from your sd and put them back in system etc....then post your two stock files here and ill mod them for you...

Just make sure the permissions are set the same as the rest of the files around it and youll b fine.

Im on vacation so havent got to it yet but if i had to guess try going to mixer gains, media speaker, and change the 2 Dsp and aif values

The sound quality is really better! I'm tryng to compile a working stereo mod but it require some time because when volume is between 10-50% sound really bad from frontal speaker..

With this mod you will have just a better audio from speaker and headphones..

I feel like having a subwoofer in my phone after installing it. Rock on!

Yes it works perfectly in my CM12.1 and the sound is louder and clearer too. :good::good:

Sure!

Nice this is working very well! Even from the speakers the sound is a little bit sharper
Just one problem : the app crashes everytime I select an option (but changes are still applied)
