So after trying countless different "Beats Audio" zips on this site and not one single one working I have finally put together what I call Franken-Beats Audio. It takes files from all kinds of different Beats Audio zips (from the S3, the note 1, to the nexus, and S2) and now works 100% for me on my stock rooted n7100.
It's pretty self explanatory but here's some instructions...
1. Download zip below
2. Copy to SD card
3. Flash with cwm
4. Reboot
5. Settings, Sound, Music Effects, select DSPManager, Press OK.
6. Open DSPManager App, edit settings to your liking.
7. Use new "Music" app to play songs and enjoy!
*BUGS*
So far the only bug I see is that enabling "Dynamic Range Compression" lowers effect of other settings or disables them completely. Solution? Don't turn it on.
My personal settings I enjoy using with my own Beats headphones are as follows:
Bass Boost: Enabled - Moderate
EQ: Enabled - Flat
Everything else is off
If you find any bugs feel free to report them here. I'll try to work on it but it is working fine for me right now. This may or may not work on other roms, I haven't tested it on anything but stock rooted.
Thanks to everyone who supplied me with the files around this forum used to create my Franken-Beats
If you want some more "oomph" to your note 2's sound I would recommend trying out this tweak with the normal volume mod - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1931970
Does this mod only work with bundle music player ?
No I believe it works with the stock music player as well, but for the best results I would use the included player. I haven't tested it with anything else.
Can you test power amp?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Disable Direct Volume Control and it seems to work fine with PowerAmp
It improves the bass in PowerAmp. But I have to lower down high fq settings in the PA eq.
Thanks for the mod.

I prefer the bundled Music app which is from CM9, it just works and it's simple.
it's same mod on this thread (SGS III):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1945535
if I look into init.d folder :
have same configuration from Rockodev Beats..? or you just modified for stability on N7100 ?

No just using some of those files like I said in the original post. I borrowed files from all over the place to get it working for me.
Edit: Actually I looked at the content of those files, they probably can just be deleted and it will still work fine. Looks to me like they have no effect on anything.
oh.. ok.. thx for clarification, will try on fresh install ROM.. because now I has been using MegaBassSound Mod (like I post before) from SGSIII.
Updated OP with version 2
Any issues with v2 post here and let me know, I made some more tweaks.
Beats
Anyone using this with actual Beats Studio headphones? Sounds like poo.... IS this normal?
I use it with Studios, Pros, and Tours and it sounds fine with all of them.
The plugin works, but the DSP manager crashes. I get to set 1 option each time, and the app does set it, but crashes afterwards.
I have the international N7100 with ARHD and the Perseus kernel.
Edit: problem solved!

If you go above 10 or 11 at that level it becomes distorted.
Replying to myself:
I haven't experienced it after that day, so please forget about that post. It did happen after boot though but i think that it conflicted with another audio manager.

Haven't tested due to me not having a SGS4G, but if everything is correct, like I believe it is then yes, Beats Audio.
Download link added. Please report any and all issues found. Enjoy!
downloading now, will post any bugs and whatnot once i give it a whirl
Tweaks.apk is missing.
Nice looking rom. If I might suggest, swap superuser for supersu. Pop in Antonx's newest kernel and the aroma installer and you will have a super rom.
From what I messed with it was smooth and quick. Ill give it another go this weekend.

So far this is lookin' like a beautiful rom! It has most everything I tweak right off the bat; like the keyboard, audio player, and GO launcher! I second everything Eoilli said. To add, drivesmart force closes just as Tweaks does. I'll probably never use it, but I had to click on it just because it was there!
What's this beats audio jive? How does one actually know if a rom has beats audio? Are there additional settings that I'm missing or?
looks around wha? where did this come from? thanks for the new rom can we get some screenshots please.

No additional settings, just added the .lib and .bin files that were hacked to work on Samsung devices. The Beats notification icon however only works on HTC devices for now, so you won't see it when you plug in your headphones.

Hmmmm... I'm guessing its an EQ preset or something along those lines. I'm an audiophile and music creator, so I know a little bit about digital audio, DAWs, and what not. It would be cool to know just exactly what it does to the audio though.

My understanding is Beats is a software EQ/Effect and uses CPU Cycles (and therefore battery) while Voodoo Sound tweaks the DAC Hardware directly for cleaner, louder sound.
So it's software EQ (Beats) or hardware EQ (Voodoo). I've personally never heard a software EQ that came close to a hardware EQ for sound quality, but everyone hears things differently. Using both concurrently will "double" EQ the sound prior to you hearing it and I'm pretty sure any audiophile will agree that's a no-no.

Here is a MusicBox for Nocturnal Xi40 ROM r123,126
You can get a hundreds of sounds by using DSP Manager and HTC Music Sound Enhancer separate (or even together)
Credit:
-CM and treebill-DSP
-Lyapota filters
-Bassini-htc Sound Setting
NOTE:after flash DSP Manager is inactive. All you need is to skip 1 track,it will work fine after that.
Let me know if there is any bugs. Please do not PM me with questions.

Every time you use HTC Sound Enhancer,it will disable dsp manager.
Once you skip track during playback DSP Manager will work.
Im using both HTC Enhancer and DSP at the same time.Very deep EQ
To do that I opened DSP,activated DSP EQ. Once its active, opened HTC Enchancer added (activated ) one of the effects there, then back to DSP for more adjustmens.Thousands of combinations
You can play all day with those settings
The trick is to skip track, you will figure it out

For me it works right after flash,no need to skip tracks or anything special.Maybe it depends on dsp settings,
Try to switch effects in HTC sound enhancer, could be conflict between beats and dsp.
Hi all.
I wanted to drop in and say thanks to Scott from scottsroms for taking the time to compile Cleanrom5 for us. Also want to extend my thanks to team Ac!D, the folks behind the gapps 4.2 release and the devs of kindacrap mods.
I am on a Verizon GS3.
I Installed TWRP recovery, wiped cache, dalvic, and data.* Then I flashed cleanrom5 with nova launcher and all addons. Next I flashed Ac!d Audio Mod 5.0.* In acid I selected the Samsung on the first two options, elected the second option on the next screen to skip walkman and clearaudio. On the last selection screen I selected Noozy. I followed up with kindacrap mods 2.4 and installed google apps 4.2 using the kdh nxt gen 4.2 gapps package.
I also upgraded nova launcher to the full version. I use a solid black wallpaper on the desktop and lockscreen because it looks sharp with the S3's AMOLED display. It also saves energy. My weather app on the main screen is the Yahoo! Weather app.
The Ac!D audio mod with noozy and noozxoide audio processor sounds amazing paired with my Mee Electronics A161P in ear headphones (single balanced armature driver).
I attached a few screenshots this makes my phone feel and sound absolutely fantastic.

Play Store Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.steinapps.ultimatesoundcontrol
Pro Version Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.steinapps.ultimatesoundcontrolpro
This app enables you to:
Easily adjust the phone's ringer/notification volume, media volume, alarm volume, system volume, and call volume
View the current volume levels
Turn on or off any system sound, such as the shutter sound or low battery sound.
Play the currently selected sound
Pro Version Only: replace any system sound with a sound of your choosing, so for example, you can replace your unlock sound with the sound of a door unlocking or a gun cocking.
These modifications normally can only be made by manually editing system files, which can be dangerous and very inconvenient. This app makes the process quick and painless.
In case you are worried about accidentally messing up your sounds, the app automatically makes a backup of each sound you replace / turn off, so you can use this app risk-free.

I just added an update that has a new option to play the current sound, so you don't have to just rely on the labeling anymore. I added the new apk to the OP and the playstore is updating now.

The sound quality is really better! I'm tryng to compile a working stereo mod but it require some time because when volume is between 10-50% sound really bad from frontal speaker..

Sure!
Nice this is working very well! Even from the speakers the sound is a little bit sharper
Just one problem : the app crashes everytime I select an option (but changes are still applied)
Thanks a lot
