Hi guys, upgraded to android 9 today. Seems to be a bug with the navigation bar not hiding automatically. For example when watching a video online it will get in the way of the screen when in full screen mode.
I've attached a screenshot. Is there any way to get this to work?
Thanks
I have a threat about it here:

Not great but better then it was

Hello. I have Amazon Kindle Fire running Android 4.0.3 and my problem with 4.0 is the status bar in the bottom doesn't disappear while running full screen app even though I checked the option "Allow combined bar to hide when showing a full screen app" in CM9 setting! well KF display is very wide and the bar makes it wider, and it also really bothers me when I'm watching a video or playing a game! so this is my question any idea how to get rid of this thing? I know there is an option to do that on CM7 and I think this should be possible?
Hi there. Lovin the N5 so far. Definitely the fastest phone I have ever used (and I've used tons). Trying to move to more gesture based things and looking for a way to hide the status / nav bars so I can just use Pie and swipe down for status bar / notifications. I can use GMD Gesture Controls to hide both, but it reverts back to normal after I lock the screen. Plus the status bar doesn't swipe down easily if at all like that. Anyone else have any ideas or just have to wait till more devs get their N5s to build up the KitKat support for mods?
Hi
Since upgrading to 10 last night I get a bar at the bottom of the screen on all apps ( see the screenshot) I have gestures enabled with no navigation bar showing.
Anyone know how to get rid of it?
Hi there!
There is a way to display the carrier (operators) name in home status bar? They only appear in lock screen status bar but not in home screen either.
Back in the days, there was an app, good app called ”PHONO” who did that, unfortunely the developr not updated for Android 10 also, and in A51 keep crashing.
There is another similar app which can do that or maybe a default, system way?
Thanks!
Did you find any way to do that? Im looking for this too
Hi all,
I recently acquired an S10E phone, and I was wondering if there was the ability to adjust brightness by sliding/dragging my finger on the (top) status bar of the phone.
I had a phone with Pixel ROM which could do this. This feature was called "Brightness control" in the settings.
Anyway so I guess Stock Android has this but is this available on stock Samsung? I couldn't find it.
Instead, I found this app on Google Play "Super Status Bar" which helps me do this. But it doesn't seem to work while in landscape mode (which sucks if I want to quickly adjust brightness on YT app.
Any help would be greatly appreciated... Not sure if this forum is dead now!
