thumbs up

Thanks for LOS. Will be testing it
Installed and looks like everything works fine except notch support.

Network indicator gets cropped.

Everything works great, just i would like to ask if there's gonna be any gestures support so we can hide notification bar?

Notch
I hope notch support works correctly?Because ive tested various oreo gsis and none of them have decent notch support(ie icons too far to the left, wrong sized icons etc.)
Otherwise im all set to switch to this rom from Arrow OS 9.0(pie),which is quite stable atm
Thanks!

I don't think LOS will have gestures. You can install Fluid Navigation Gesture app from play store. It works good.
You can also wait for many different roms that will come up in the next few days. Havoc, Crdroid etc. They will probably have gesture support built in.

Nope just installed it and the notch is not yet correctly taken into account for statusbar messages.

Wow!!! looks great!! Great job!????????
But i cant test, I'm on stock rom

Nice work dev, awesome ROM, just having one issue. On loudspeaker the other person hear multiple echoes of their own voice. Looking for an update, keep up the good work.

Hey dev,
Using this ROM for 2 day's and still on it.
Everything works fine didn't find any issue.
Only thing signals are lil weak.
And some notch issue.
Thank for this ROM and a big :good: for you

Family Link works!
I installed this ROM on my kid's phone because I needed Family Link to work! It works! Pico opengapps seemed to be crashing so I installed stock opengapps. Thank you so much! Please keep developing!

I noticed the signal appears to be weaker too.
I'll observe for a few more days since I'm now running this ROM for barely 15 minutes.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!
Kernel Source: https://github.com/dev-harsh1998/android-kernel-wingtech-wt86518
Flashing Instructions:
- Make sure you are on stock lollipop or a lollipop/marshmallow based custom rom
- Wipe system/data/dalvik cache/cache partition
- Flash the ROM
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot.
- First boot will take a while...be patient, it will boot
- Enjoy!
The Rom will loop once on boot logo during first boot and then it will boot just fine so don't worry. It happens because of SuperSU (systemless root)

About the camera
1. Video recording setting in the default Camera app is set at 1080p which causes can't connect to camera error. Change it to 720p
2. This Roms comes with AOSP camera which is completely s**t on our device. Don't complain about it and use any other camera app

It will happen only when BT is turned on
I've using this ROM since yesterday, so here is my experience .....
Pros:
1) Capacitive (hard keys) button mapping for multiple functions has been brought back (included) which is huge surprise as most of Nougat does not have it for our device... thanks to Devs for working on this . Omni switch, On screen Nav bar is also here for multi-function activity and all normal Nougat Customization is present.
2) Launcher3 (kind of included pixel and wallpaper combined) added which works great.
And also new Alarm Clock and Calendar design looks good.
3) Very much smooth almost 300MB ram remains empty depending on how many apps running in the background,
No random shutdown or random reboots.
Cons:
1) Camera app is not so good ( the quality is not up to mark as of now ), I hope will be fixed/improved in future updates.
2) Bluetooth does not seems to be working properly ( which is just minor bug )
It's too early to comment on battery backup, seems okay now... have not noticed any sharp drain since yesterday.
Conclusion :
Best nougat so far in terms of added functionality and stability.
Go for it :good:

How can I do this from outside the app? I can't change the settings in the app because of the "can't connect to camera" error

2017 01 29 - Initial Release[/CENTER]
Be certain to do a full backup of your music, photos, data, apps, call logs, sms/text and so on before flashing.
Coming from a firmware version prior official 4.x, you must flash 4.0.2 official Oxygen OS (NO BETA) and do a full wipe, then flash TWRP, then full wipe, then flash OmniROM.
You MUST DO A FULL WIPE, whether you are coming from homemade builds , or a previous version of OmniROM, because OmniROM is signed with different keys, and it will not boot otherwise.
GAPPS must be flashed BEFORE initial boot, they will NOT work properly if you flash them afterwards !!!

Short report of first weekly:
Battery and overall performance is pretty good, everything works as expected.
Some things I found:
1. Scroll speed is a bit low, doesn't feel as smooth as Laos or OOS
2. Fingerprint sensor isn't working always after opening the flipcase
Beside that this is a real good custom ROM. Only thing I miss featurewise is the settings to configure hardware buttons (long press and double tab)

Thanks for your answer and yes, I do use the right firmware. It works most times, but sometimes it seems to not correctly get the "Proximity Sensor is free" information. But that can be also a hardware issue as I have had that on OOS too, also not that often (and only one time at LAOS) so I thought it might be worth mentioning.
I did some Android ROM development myself (PSX, Exodus) so I know how frustrating it could be if only one user reports an issue. That's why I think it's important that everybody reports such hard unreproducible issues so you at least can see it's not a one user issue only (or maybe see it's an one user issue ) if many report it, there might be chances to find reasons (same app used etc.)

@maxwen might be able to answer that one, he's also using a flip cover, but I would have heard of it by now if he encountered such issue ... Actually, proximity sensor is hell sensitive on my side (maybe too much ^^').

Camera is a bit different than LOS although we're still using HAL1 for Snapdragon camera, same as they are, and since it works as is, I prefer to wait for Oneplus to release their stuff for camera before touching (therefore breaking something else) anything. I've got some work planned on this, no ETA, but I really closely look at what's doable. What I want is improved camera features with an acceptable quality. I will keep you informed whenever I make progress on this, but I really can't give an ETA on this

To install this you have to install TWRP first. I can recommend this version, built with same kernel as ROM. nx551-twrp-3.2.1.img
If you want to use google apps use ARM64 Android 9.0 opengapps package https://opengapps.org/.
If you need root use Magisk

please bring Android 10 to the nubia m2
Thank you Highway for the rom.
The only bug I've found is the brightness slider is inaccurate. About sliding the selector to almost 90% the brightness is at 50% physically... And from 90% to 100% physically the brightness goes from 50% to 100% so it's very difficult to adjust.
Testing now, no problems so far, love u man
Brightness slider is weird, only starts working at halfway, then from 90% to 100%.
Notification light stayed flashing after charging, only happened once.
Not sure if you want logs?
Loving Android pie though
the screen brightness probably has something to do with Android pie as per this link
Notification led not working for missed messages and calls
Thank you very much for all your work!
Thanks for your work!!
The only bugs I have noticed so far was the lack of accuracy in manual and automatic adjustment of the screen; the notification led flashing when charge. And when you're on the widgets screen, the notification bar overlaps during screen scroll.
WOW, Great! I will try it as soon as possible. Thank you so much.
Hi, i have just installed this rom in my phone and it looks really great. Some problems that i noticed is that the android wizard in the beginning doesnt work and i cant find the adaptive battery option. Thank you and keep good job.
Thank you for your job
the problems I noticed were:
the brightness of the screen changes after 50%
and when using bluetooth (smartband) and wifi (2.4ghz), the wifi gets very bad, with high ping and locking in some moments when watching videos on youtube or another video server, in lineage 15.1 it also slowed down but it was little did not disturb when watching videos.
* Updated Lineage source code
*Fixed autofocus issue(autofocus still broken)
* Added exfat support

I noticed a problem with lineage 16. Usually I put the icons of some contacts in the home to have them more accessible but I can't with lineage 16. Is it just my problem?
Thanks Francesco

gpay works? safetynet is green?
Rom looks polished and smooth, there are some features that i use is missing. I would like if the developer can look into them. Can't seem to add my account to chrome and sync. 3 button navigation bar buttons cannot be swapped ,screen off torch with power button and network speed on status bar is missing, at least i couldn't find them in the settings. I really appreciate the DC dimming option, it really helps with my headache. Thanks!

Yes I mean I appreciate DC dimming because it's there
Not sure why it didn't work for me, I couldn't login and sync to chrome, maybe my firmware , I did format the data but didn't wipe system or vendor maybe that..

You're among the very first developers to port android 12 so thank you very much for your efforts ,also are there any bugs I should be aware of before installing this rom?
So here's my experience after a couple of hours with your port.
I'll start with the bad and then the good stuff.
Bad:
1- there are frame drops when opening settings and when opening notification panel
2- When rotating, the animation seems to be too fast so it needs to be tweaked.
3- The haptic feedback is just too strong when typing that it makes me uncomfortable
4- The Bluetooth is not working (stuck on "turning on" and when I close the notification panel it goes back to off like it wasn't pressed at all)
Good:
1- the rom is quite smooth aside from the laggy animations I mentioned before.
2- The rom is almost bug free so I had a fun experience with it.
3- The battery life is really good, I wish I could still see screen on time numbers from settings like on previous android versions though but that's out of your hand.
also: which Gcam do you recommend for this rom? And is there a customization page in settings?
PS: Excited to see your coming works.
I'd Like to start with a thanks for creating this port
My experience after a couple of hours with your rom is similar to Kamikaze1336 but I found some extra bugs
Screen Recording- Whenever I take a recording and try to playback it doesn't playback rather it just sticks to a frame
Mobile data- Tho I was able to fix this easily in the mobile data setting I did notice some throttle and sometimes it doesn't just work ........... My Internet speed is really fast so I figured it isn't from the carrier
Bluetooth- It wouldn't just turn on so I guess that's a major bug to watch out for
Excluding all these bugs the port is just amazing as the whole ui is smooth, there's little to no frame drop, and the interface is perfect. It'll be captivating to see extra fixes to this rom and porting of other roms.. Thanks
Update*
Upon more experimentation I decided to check out how the ROM will cope after a factory reset and these are the things I noticed
Lag- There were multiple Frame drops as I continued to use this ROM
Apps - There was a multitude of seizures when opening Apps forcing me to reopen them over and over to ensure a working state and sometimes they just don't respond after some seconds
Bluetooth- This is a major bug that would be perfect if fixed .. just pointing it out
For now I'll port back to lineage OS 11 and wait for updates on this ROM ... Thanks again for the wonderful Port
any updates regarding this rom ?

Raghu is currently working on his private builds (you can access them on his telegram by donating to his project) and I don't think he will be updating this build soon.
News for everyone having bugs with the rom: Raghu has released a new kernel with the fixes on his SourceForge page.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/drg-sprout/files/Black_Caps-Edition/Black_caps-12.0-CLANG-FIH-SDM660-2018-20211117.zip/download
So what does this kernel do? well for me it fixed my bluetooth issues and the system feels more responsive and stable over all.
Hi!
I have some problem in latest build 12 with video players, like NewPipe , can't start play video, got message. " unsupported player" , or " player error "

I had a similar problem, whatsapp can't play any videos, it is just stuck at 0 seconds when I press play, doesn't even give any error.
