Greetings to you, dear forum users
I am a senior Android developer at PIER in Belgorod, Russia. I would like to briefly tell the story of our company.
We develop software for all segments. This web development, applications for mobile platforms, programming of drones and much more. Our company recently turned 8 years old. During this time, we have accumulated about 130 development specialists, designers, marketing specialists and other very good people =)
Most recently, our company began to develop a new segment of programming, namely the development of mobile games. Analyzing the area of development, we came to the conclusion that we want to develop games using Unity 3D engines. During the entire time spent, we faced a considerable amount of problems. The most expensive for us was the problem of optimizing the game for older devices. In the process of solving the problem, almost all three-dimensional models of characters and locations were changed, textural atlases were compiled, and light sources were worked out.
As a result, we published the game on Google Play, codenamed JetMan. We ask you to evaluate our work, point out the shortcomings and problems and tell us whether we should move in this direction. It is important for us.
Thank you for your time and wish you success in all your endeavors in the next 2019. Happy New Year!

Hey xda! I'm a solo developer in College going for my BS in Computer Science. I worked on this app this summer and put a ton of time and effort into it. I wanted to do a guide for a game which at the time didn't have anything else done for it. Basically I didn't want to be a copycat. So I made a game guide for the popular Steam game Don't Starve.
So far I released the game in late July and have currently 3150+ downloads and 1400 active users. I wanted to post a link and some screenshots of the app here to get some more personal feedback from real devs about my work. What it could mean for me in the future in terms of using it in a job interview, things I could improve upon, and so on! Any feedback is welcome.
Some of the coding things I learned to use in the app were (I taught myself completely how to code in android).
-Sql lite database creation and management for my in app activity search feature
-Android activity structure and file design
-google admob integration of the admob sdk as a marketing tool (helps show that this could be a marketable product).
The app is free to download and only actually has 6 tiny banner ads in it, which I actually use to help track the apps traffic on a daily basis so I know which of the main pages users go to the most so I can focus on those when updating.
DISCLAIMER (I don't know how this works for free dev posts if I have ads in this, in no way am I posting this for monetary gain please don't click the ads. I want real feedback on design for this project!)
Attached are some app screenshots from version 2.81:

This may be an obscure game for some on this forum, like I said its understandable if you haven't played Don't Starve. Just was wondering what you all thought about the design of my first app.
Thanks Tyler
Hi all!
Please note that I'm extremely new to the world of apps and forums like these so if I've done anything that doesn't abide by the rules please let me know and remove this thread if necessary.
The other week I released my first ever app called Junction. Junction is an anonymous social platform integrated into Australian train lines (will be expanding internationally soon).
Here's the description from the store listing:
"Junction is an app that allows you to communicate anonymously with people around you. You can compliment people, start discussion, ask someone a question etc all without putting yourself on the line to potentially be embarrassed.
There is such a stigma attached to cold approaching people that it creates fear when someone is thinking about talking to a stranger. With this app, the potential for embarrassment/fear is removed, which leads to a higher potential for social interactions between future friends/possible significant others.
Also, it allows for a new, unique way to spend your time on the train.
Meet people, share ideas, create a community."
Here is the link to the free version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.socialinfotech.creation.junctionAdv
If you guys want (and could tell me how) I can offer the paid version at a heavily discounted price for you all if that will help to get more people to download it and hopefully rate it high on Google Play.
Here's a few screenshots:

Thank you guys so much for your time and I hope you enjoy Junction
P.S Chat rooms are a bit empty at the moment, but once more people start to hear about/use the app the more enjoyable it will be

★ Travel through galaxies into deep space and manipulate gravity in this one tap game ★
About the game
In this game you will be travelling through deep space with the help of gravity.
You can select two modes; in one your speed will be constantly increasing, and in other you will have to finish galaxies each having 5 levels. Further you go more things you can expect - black holes, asteroids, etc.
Technical details that only developer will be interested in
We have used cross platform Java based engine for development - libGDX. On Android we have implemented native adcolony, admob and games services, on ios we have used lib-gdx pay to implement IAP, robovm-robopods to implement dialogs and admobs and BlueRiverInteractive's depreciated robovm-ios-bindings for adcolony and Game Center. (no IAP on Android as our country is not supported)
Google Play Store
iTunes App Store
Feedback is greatly appreciated
Two friends and I made a mobile game and we are really excited about it. I think that the game is quite unique and everything is our product – the idea, the concept, design, programming … and we are self-taught. It took us over a year and we really put a lot of effort in it. We will be very happy if you try it, and give us any feedback.
Also, if any of you are thinking about developing mobile games and apps and you have any questions, just send me a message and I’ll be glad to answer. When we started with just an idea and passion for making games, we were also very happy for all information and advice we’ve got.

Mistakes or blunders do not happen by choice, they are a result of some shortcomings. Each and every user on iOS or Android loves gaming and apparently the number of games played across the users is huge. There are millions of games out there, but not all of them are installed. Shortcomings as we were saying result in lesser downloads. One of the biggest mistakes which is made by game developers is lack of efficient marketing.
By efficient marketing we mean choosing the right channel of marketing, targeting the right audience, right time of follow up, not investing on the unique selling point (USP), poor research, launching on too many platforms and many others. These small mistakes add up to a huge botch which eventually leads to the decline of the app’s popularity and hence user base.
In this article we will take you through the eight most common mistakes which are made by game developers and we will also help you correct them. Avoiding these mistakes will let you have a great launch and henceforth create a successful product.
Read all 8 marketing blunders made by a game developer here.
Hi, I'm new to this forum but I always came by here and read lots of useful information so today I decided to share something with you before its getting too late.
now I'm not a big fan of PPC like stuff but this app is giving its member 4 BTC a day for 1 month... besides there is a power feature in the app, that you can collect 2000 a day with reading useful articles about cryptocurrency, plus 10000 power if you invite someone else to the app! these powers later can be exchanged to cryptocurrency.
! if the invited member signed up and received his or her first read power then you get 10000 power bonus which is you have to open one of its articles about cryptocurrency and press RECIEVE READ POWER.
you can google this on the internet or you can download the app from Here.
