Force Volume button as shutter in default Camera app - HTC U11+ Questions & Answers

Hi guys,
I have been having trouble getting my default camera app to work with a selfie stick (blitzwolf BW-BS3).
When I press the camera button on the selfie stick after connecting it to my phone via Bluetooth, it imitates a zoom in & out instead of an enter key. This causes the default camera app to zoom in then out, without taking a photo.
Do you guys have an easy workaround or can recommend a good camera app with 18:9 to replace the default camera app?:good:
Cheers

I am searching for an camera app or a way i could use the burst option again. I have an HTC One X with IceColdJelly 4.2.2 and the camera app cant do an burst with pressing the photo button long. I want the similar camera app when i had an Stock HTC.
I have bought Camera Zoom FX, its a great app but i need 2 switch instead of holding the shoot button for a long time.

Front Camera Takes Pictures in HDR Mode

I'm using the default camera app on Beanstalk and I've also installed the 4.4 camera app but I experienced the same issue.
I don't even have the option to use HDR on the main camera and I've looked through the settings, but can't find anything relating to it.
By HDR mode I mean the front camera takes several pictures with different exposures and merges them together, it's annoying because it takes about 2 seconds and you must hold camera perfectly still to get it not to be blurry.
If I use the front camera while using Snapchat I do not have any issues. Any idea what could be causing this? How else should troubleshoot?

How to change default camera to another camera app when press camera button?

Hi. I'm using z3, 5.1.1 and rooted.
I don't like sony camera. Camera fv5 better than this. But I cant find how to assign another camera app to camera button.
Tried a better camera. This app have an option to use hardware key to open the app but it do nothing.

Very slow camera capture speed

My OP6 is very slow to capture a photo when pressing the shutter button on the stock camera. I changed to the GCAM, which is a bit buggy, but will capture a photo very quickly. How can I speed up the stock camera? I only need the stock camera as when I double press the lock button to open the camera, it won't automatically open GCAM, even though I set it as the default app.
Also, neither of the apps I have support HDR, why is this? I can't find it anywhere in the settings.
Edit: I am on the latest update available for the OP6. My stock camera app only has 3 options at the top of the screen, timer, size and flash. GCAM is the same

Anyway to lock the pop up camera? - Snapchat

When using snapchat the pop up camera plays wack-a-mole while navigating menus and such... (opening and closing constantly)
Does anyone know if it's possible in general to lock the camera with another app or a mod? I don't want to stress the lifespan of the popup camera.
It would also be a super useful security feature as I've found the pop-up camera coming up when on Instagram and not even in the camera...

Go as if your going to take a picture and switch to the rear camera. Once you do this it will always think you're using the rear cam and stop the front camera from popping up when I'm camera mode.
Yes, just default to the rear camera...
