It was a happy start to the day as i saw my Poco F1 ready to be updated to Android Pie. I did it as soon as i saw it. Here are my takes.
Pros:
1. App icon displayed on the notification bar.
2. Google lens support to the stock camera.
3. Better performance.
Cons:
1. App icons from the notification bar disappear after a short while.
2. Option to hide the notch removed.
3. Adaptive battery mode from stock Pie not included.
4. Night mode and 960fps slow mo not included in the camera.
Do onething. Set a light wallpaper on homescreen or just open Themes app and switch from Poco to Classic theme. It will change the home wallpaper to light green. Now just reboot the device and when boots back, unlock it quickly without delaying. Now take a deep look on the homescreen and tell me if you can see some horizontal lines (not very deep though).
I have seen it on miui 10.1.3.0. At first I thought it might be a bug on my OTA. So, I grabbed the 10.1.3.0 fastboot ROM from miui forum and clean flashed through MiFlash tool. But it's still there. It was not present on miui 9 or 10.0.6.0. Right now I'm on 8.12.13 and there is no such issue.
Sir
Plz help
I can see those lines after reboot so what should I do

So I am new to MIUI and am stuck using it til my remaining 260 hours til I can unlock it to flash the P preview are over. I use an application that creates toggles for my hue lights and its convenient so I don't need to open the Hue app and wait for it to load every time I want to toggle my lights. I can't seem to find where to add more toggles to the notification drawer in MIUI though. Has this feature been removed or can I just not find it?

Click to collapse
Have you checked the "Sort" toggle in quick settings bar (the last one after you expand them by swiping down)?
Custom toggles for apps installed aren't listed
I don't think this is available on MIUI... At least I haven't been able to add any app quick titles either. They love breaking these little things.
Nope, not on MIUI. It wasn't until last year or so you were able to swipe away notifications on the lock screen!

Yesterday I updated to the new stock Oxygen (Android 10) and went very dissapointed , the flow in the system is worse but the sRGB mode in the display settings got worse and isnt as acurate as before.
But also the option for hiding the Notch got worse, before it was possible to have a straight black line just on the sides of the Notch with the clock and battery icons. Now the icons is under the line of the Notch and it is aslo round corners with is ugly which also mean less screen size
Anyone who know a fix on this one or is the only option to downgrade to Anroid 9 again?
Hi everyone,
Today I received my little f2. When I turned it on the phone had miui 11 and had both the animations of the icons (when you go back from the settings and turn the wheel icon for example) and the Google news when scrolling left. But I have upgraded to miui 12 .0.1 and now it doesn't have those features. Any solution?
Thanks.
OP7 1903 update from stable 10 to stable 11 and wiping cache.
When in charge with Assistant Ambient enabled (the option in Google, not ambient display) the screen remain black and I can't wake up the phone.
Changing icon pack apply only with oneplus launcher and not with others (I use Nova)
Recently my poco x3 pro got black shade in the bottom I think the display is defect.then I reset the phone to clean up my information and take to the service center after the reset the black shade on bottom screen gone* I think it's may be bug in miui 12.5 stable.
Version of my miui os .
Attached screenshot of before and after the black shade....it's may be really magic
Probably MIUI ads or some apps you installed done it.
Yes,I think so some of the applications icons are sometimes doesn't visible I think the dark mode has bug in miui
