[SOLVED] Disable cellular data for certains apps with Adhell? - Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) Questions & Answers

It's first time that I have a samsung device and on my iPhone and then on my Honor I could chose which application was allowed to use cellular data. Is it possible to do it on samsung? I found nothing to do so in the section "Data Usage" of the settings.
Thank you in advance.

You need to go into the app info (long press) and click mobile data where you'll get the specific app settings

why Netguard does not work? I installed it and it seems working correctly
to install Adhell you have to rebuild the apk of Adhell and you need a samsung licences too, you can install it, find a good tutorial and do it, then it will be very easy to manage internet access

What do you mean like in apps? Even the ones with root aren't getting the ads that good lately since 4.4.

Yeah, I don't think so my friend.
Ad-blockers work by replacing the host file. This is a system file that is updated through the app. Once the new hosts file (say - an update) is downloaded, it becomes a static file unless updated via the aforementioned method.
Data state would not affect this. Regardless, if you're offline - where would you ever see an ad?

And you need root. No ad block without it...

Ok - so further reading says I'm a bit off and DNS plays a part in updating the file, then redirects it to a fubarred IP. However, DNS wouldn't be a factor if you were "offline" as you have no way to send DNS requests without data or wifi. Can you access the internet? Then you have the ability to have your DNS requests for ads rerouted.
Offline - no.
Nonroot - no.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

S7 Galaxy Apps APK

Hi guys, I can't seem to find the Galaxy Apps program on my G930FD, non-rooted.
Can someone post the APK for download?
Much appreciated.
Go into the applications section in settings and see if it has accidentally been disabled? If not then i don't think you can install it as a user app as it's a system only app and since you don't have root nothing more can be done

Seeking for effective Adblocker

The module Adblocker"pl.cinek.adblocker" which previously added in the xposed repository could not be found now, I wonder why?
And in China, currently most of apps are free so that much more in-app ads show in our phones, it is annoying.
So could someone suggest any effective adblockers to intercept in-app ads and google ads , I will appreciate your kind sincerely

[GUIDE] LG Stylo2 LS775 Android 7.0 ZV8 Bypass Google Account!

My hobby is to bypass the lock Google phones. Yesterday was able to bypass the blocked LS775 on the latest version of ZV8. Google and LG have blocked almost all the old holes, but I still found a way to bypass the blockage.

Quick question... maybe you can help
Device:. LGLS775 ZV6
OS:. MM 6.0.1
Of course, no root, custom recoveries... but software update popped up ZV8. Backed up phone, did factory reset, because sd card was set to a percentage of it (80%) as portable, 20% added to internal.
Ever since the reset... no update is available...?!!!
Was looking forward to seeing Nougat, since this device is locked down too much for any development.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance ,
zach
I have a LG Stylo 2 Plus for T-Mobile. It was updated to Android 7.1 I believe and is stuck on frp. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get around it. It's the newest update. May 15th. There seems to be no information regarding it online. Maybe someone here can help?

Maps overlay

Hi all
Recently I received my OTA update to MHA-L29 8.0.0.360(C185)
Ever since then, if I switch tasks while navigating in Google Maps it will put Maps into a small overlay that appears over whatever I switch to, and it doesn't appear in the recent apps if I try and switch back to it, instead to make it full screen again I have to tap on the application icon from my home screen.
Quite honestly, I can appreciate the usefulness of this feature, but it's been poorly implemented and ends up being a nuisance to me. Does anyone know how to disable this feature (revert back to how it behaved in Android 7?)
Thanks
It's a feature of Oreo pip mode also does same with YouTube

Thanks for the info. I did come across that same article prior to posting this thread but it appears that option does not exist. Thought maybe Huawei had some other way to go about it instead...
