Remove Handsfree Activation

Hello Everyone!
I had been doing so much unlocks to many phones and I had this persistent issue with sprint phones so here is a quick solution for the Hands free activation. (There are different methods)
YOU NEED TO BE ROOTED
THIS WORK ON S6 & S6 EDGE , NOTE 4 & 5. I had tested all in my devices maybe works in other devices.
Method 1.
With adb connect your device with adb debugging on.
open adb shell and type:
rm /system/priv-app/SprintDM/SprintDM.apk
rm /system/priv-app/SprintSyncMLSvc/SprintSyncMLSvc.apk
rm /system/priv-app/Activation/Activation.apk
Reset and there will be no more handsfree activation.
Method 2
With your rooted device download a root file explorer
and go to this folders on the device
/system/priv-app/SprintDM/SprintDM.apk
/system/priv-app/SprintSyncMLSvc/SprintSyncMLSvc.apk
/system/priv-app/Activation/Activation.apk
Delete the apks or just rename them as I did.
That should be all, no more Handsfree Activation.
I am testing a new software for note 5 unlocks, anyone who wants a domestic-international unlock send me a message.

I'm guessing this is helpful if you are using the Sprint Note 5 outside of Sprint?
If you don't remove Hands free activation, does it always pop-up?

Correct this will only show if you have a unlocked device and using it in another network.

If I disable SprintDM.apk and prevent it from loading, it solves the issue with hands free activation, however leaves me without 3g on CDMA, that is not acceptable for me. After I enable this apk, 3g immediately starts working ok for me.

I live in the middle east and my carrier uses b3 for 4g, so I can't get 4g on my phone, it's rooted, I really appreciate your help very much. :good::good:

It's sprint 920P not 920i,sorry for the mistake.

This one helps me with annoying "hands free Activision" thanks a lot!

I think I bought a fake s7 Gold Tmobile.

I think I messed up, let me tell you about the phone.
1. The IMEI says "unknown"
2. The security is last updated february 16
3. Wifi keeps on disconnecting
4. It's tmobile unlocked and it won't work with a cricket sim
5. Its very slow and laggy
i'm trying to use odin to restore the factory software, I will upload some pictures of the phone.

indeed i was asking the same. But so many n00bs on xda these days that i kinda start to hate it more and more. I see the same topics return every single month or so while most n00bs cant even use the search option.

No one is trying to root this device anymore. Sorry. With a locked bootloader your SOL. That device is unlocked.

Security update
Just wondering if anyone made any progress on rooting this phone or did you give up? Really, I just want to reverse the security update that just came out. Is that possible? Thanks! It is the LG K20 V on Verizon.

I would also like a way to root this phone.

Honor 6x [BLN-L21C185] What's your current Update version?

Couple of questions, it would seem that the Honor 6x [Middle East version] has not received the complete Emui 5 update, twin apps are unavailable. As a Matter of fact it also hasn't received the August Security Updates yet. Can anyone with the C185 version's confirm this for me?
Would alsonbe appreciated if other version users could also confirm this for me. Thanks

I haven't gotten security updates since the March one. What are twin apps? I'm using the US version I think.

B361, the update that came out in June I think, and yes it's full of bugs like my standby time drops form 60 hours to 19 hours after a week or so and then I have to factory reset (I've done all the usual things to prevent it but it suddenly drops :/), it has no app twin feature as the OP said, it's frustrating as the other regions are getting consistent updates and bug fixes but not c185 it's baffling -_-

Also the Rom is Laggy, the performance in games is the worst, the cell reception is weak as campared to the MM Rom that it came with, and the worse part is you can't roll back to MM now :/, firmware finder shows a b371 update that was made on 15th of August but it hasn't been released, but it's just the security updates nothing more

Twin app is using an app with 2 different accounts (whatsapp for example), it is like parallel space if you know it

No to both. At present, I don't have a computer to do that on.

I guess you should be on the latest update to get twin app for the 6x

Twin app is by default on Nougat for most of the devices (if I am not wrong)

Yes US one.

Until you get twin app, try parallel space in meanwhile, if you really need it

Really don't understand why 6X is missing twin app feature.

I think the first OTAs of the 6x don't include twin app, maybe the latest ones do

Disable Market Unlocker or uninstall it. Now Good Lock is working for you.
For Non-Root Devices:
Install Good Lock Apps (not good lock itself)
download Bad Lock or Nice Lock app as a launcher.

When I try to launch the Lockstar app with the activity manager, it gives the following error "Waiting
We are waiting that LockStar is connected to System.

Why you need activity manager to launch the app? Do it over Good Lock it's working great for me. If you're having connection error just tell me there's a fix for that.

Thats for a Rooted Device and my device is not rooted..so i can't use the Market unlocker

You can use non-root fix provided on 1st post. Good lock apps only available on some markets. UK / USA - S. Korea etc. but we can still use it.

Which fixes are u talking about cos my phone is not rooted snd the Market unlocker is for rooted device and the ither options using Apk doesn't work.. thanks

Oh okay..lot of people have same problems like mine but no one seems to have solution.. I'm thinking of waiting till i have Pie 9.0 update next month and see if anything changes...
But i guess Samsung scrap it off store... The app close upon execution..im ok with d rest though just that the edge lighting will be d best

folder updated with todays updates.
