just download the .jar from the link above. U also need java environment to launch jar files.
1. Download .jar XiaomiADBTool and Java SE
2. Enable USB debugging in developer options on your note 6 pro
3. connect note 6 pro with usb and launch .jar tool
4. click on top right "menu" > "check for device" to load your redmi
5. in the center window of the tool you can select all apps you'd like to uninstall
6. hit the uninstall button. On left side you'll see the progress - finish
you also have several other options with this tool on right side of the window. I've tried the tool today and everything is working!

Does not need root, unlocked bootloader or something else. Just enable USB debugging

really great tool, I removed from my note 6 pro several google/miui apps ... just I am not sure exactly what are safe to remove and to maintain proper phone functioning. Hereby I think that 'Music' should be for sure safe to remove, but I am not sure regarding offered google/miui services and so on. However I got rid of Google chrome and I like it

Hi
Thanks for your quick reply. I have managed to take the screenshot as attached. Looks like it has issues while copying. I did exactly what you have instructed:
1. Install USB Driver
2. Unmount SD Card
3. Run the batch file under developer mode...then it has cleared the 1st step....
Regs
Before this method, did you tried anything to root?
Nope, as i got this device only last week.
I want to see what are the files inside /system/xbin.
You can get that by running these cmd on adb
adb shell
ls /system/xbin
And just to add, i have Kaspersky AV installed, is that prevents my rooting?

Since you don't have twrp your best choice is step 1 of autoprime. Just follow the steps. Make sure you have the latest USB drivers for lg g3. Also you need to make sure your device is properly connected via adb. To do that you open a terminal inside the folder containing the files. To get adb correctly you hit shift and right click inside the folder the open terminal. Once terminal is open you start by connecting the device via adb. To check is connected your adb device id must show with the word device in front. If it shows unauthorized you need to allowed the connection on the phone. Once connected you need to push the files to the root of the sdcard
adb push "each file" /sdcard/
Then follow with the commands on step 1. Very important to rename twrp file to the name shown in the command.

THANK YOU I GOT IT but i have a quick question , i can now flash exposed on here ? and get roms that are bumped ?
You can flashes any rom bumped since this is bumped as well, if you run into a boot loop make sure to flash the corresponding modem either kk or lollipop. About xposed you can try but you better read the best way to install it because there are issues with lg cover app and the weather app.
i got it working, now im just trying to figure out why G3 tweakbox is not working with xposed

Andromeda & Substratum on the Mi A1

Hey guys. I have downloaded the APK of Andromeda version 18. For some reason it's not showing the dialogue box of "Disconnected". I tried using the Desktop Client and Substratum does launch after the script finishes execution.
But it somehow still can't verify whether Andromeda is running or not.
Will I have to purchase Andromeda from the play store? Or is it not compatible with my device?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Totally agree. Try this link.
I personnaly when i launch substratum on my pc, first launch as admin the adb file and then, the start_andromeda normally and everything is ok. Another thing : i change the settings when i connect my phone from "charge" to "transfer file". It costs me many try to make it work but finally, i did it.
Here is the two substratum modules working perfectly on my A1 :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kohlewrrk.lockclean

XDA talked about hem here.

just try yourself, but not all works, there are some part that dont work, such as setting icon, setting mode, some status bar icon, & some other, also you need to restart the phone in order to apply the theme
but most important is this only works on 8.0 OS

just read the faq for substratum/andromeda. In short, keep auto updates off from playstore (as some apps break themes and theme update is required) and restore default theme before ota update will keep you pretty safe. Been using andromeda from jan 2018, never faced bootloops or anything of that sort.
If you don't want to purchase then you can root with #Magisk & use substratum
Hey guys, I installed the drivers from the link in one of the first posts, fire up the start_andromeda.bat from pc with phone connected, I get the CONNECTED status in the andromeda app box, go to substratum, select my preferred overlays in FLUX white and LockClean (lockclean was confirmed working in this thread), apply, then reboot. After reboot I go to the substratum manager tab, click on Chnage overlay states.... and then nothing. No theme is applied whatsoever. Any help?

That's because every time you reboot your device, Andromeda gets deactivated and you need to connect to the andromeda desktop client once again to activate it. You have to repeat the same process every time you restart your device.

Hi everyone I just found out a way recently on how to unlock the bootloader without losing data and root Oppo A71 Cph1717 ,but just in case please i encourage you to backup your phone before doing this, i tested this with my own phone and it works so now lets start!!!
1) download and install latest python (ensure to tick the checkbox Add Python x.x to PATH) ------>https://www.python.org/downloads/
2) download and install preloader driver -----> https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9...dUE/view?resourcekey=0-TN-5Ipeegh7SowX4sduz_g
3) download the latest MTK-client zip --------> https://github.com/bkerler/mtkclient
4) unzip the mtk-client and open the CMD or Powersell inside the extracted MTK-client folder
5) enter the first command -----> python setup.py install ,and wait until the process is done
6) after the installation is done enter the second command ----> pip3 install -r requirements.txt ,wait until the process is done.
7) Now this is the part to where you are going to unlock the bootloader of your Oppo A71
8) enter command -----> python mtk da seccfg unlock it will wait for the phone to be connected
9) Now power off your phone, connect the small part of the usb cable in your phone, hold both up and down volume button and connect the another end of the usb cable to the computer and you will see the process starting after the process is done boot up your phone and the VIOLA!!! you have unlocked your bootloader without losing any data!!,when you see a warning ( your device has been unlocked and cannot be trusted , your device will boot in 5 seconds....) dont worry its very normal , Now lets hop in on how to root your oppo a71 .
Second Rooting your Oppo A71 CPH1717
1) download latest magisk apk and install it on your phone
2) download your stock rom in your PC -----> https://oppostockrom.com/oppo-a71-cph1717
3) and extract the stock rom in your pc
4) now go to developers option of your phone and enable usb debugging and select the type of connection and select MTP while connected in pc
5) copy the extracted boot.img in your internal storage
5) now open magisk app and select install (you can select Preserve AVB option if you want ) then select next and press the Select img and select the boot.img that you copied fron the PC and then press lets go option
6) wait until the patching is done
7) after the process is done, now copy the magisk_patched.img in the pc ( you can find it in your internals download folder)
8) now create a folder in your pc name it Root flash
9) move the magisk_patched.img in the folder that you created and rename it boot (no extension and other things )
10) copy the scatter file, preloader.bin from the extracted stock rom in to the folder that you created (root flash folder)
11) download sp flash tool ------>https://spflashtool.com/download/ ,and unzip it in your pc
12) open the sp flash folder and open flash tool.exe
13) now see scatter-loading file option and click choose go to the created folder( root flash folder) and select the scatter file
14) now untick the preloader but not the boot
15) click the download button , power off your phone ,connect the small part of the usb cable to your phone ,hold the up and down volume button then connect the another end of the usb to the Pc
16) wait until the flashing is done you will receive a green check in the screen ,disconnect your phone from the pc and turn your phone on and VIOLA!!!! your Oppo a71 CPH1717 is now rooted you can check the magisk app if its installed or install root checker
if i did something wrong pls feel free to tell me
PS: only follow this instruction that i created on how to unlock bootloader if your phone is Oppo A71 CPH1717 because if you follow another tutorial for unlocking the bootloader of this phone TRUST me it will going to be fu*ked up!!!!

as i can see in the video its legit he really unlocked, root and install twrp(which i have it too) in the oppo phone but the only thing thats difficult is he uses a test point and to do that you need to open the phone and some tools to do that which is hasle and hard while in my method i directly unlock it you can see in the vid he uses something to activate the test point but in my case i didnt, i just connect my phone and enter the commands and let the tool do the magic we both use the same tool but the only difference is he uses gui version and im using only command prompt version both version of tool is good but for me command prompt version is stable

thats kinda normal ,well yeah im facing the same problem right now but apparently there is no way we can remove that thing i searched every where but no luck but there is a method to remove that but the requirment that it needs doesnt met by our phone, this method needs Edxposed with we cant use because we need our phone to run in android 8/8.1 or higher i tried it with xposed framework but no luck i cant open the app because its not meant for the phone for now im thinking to to build a custom rom to fix this problem i dont know if this is possible but i found something in internet that got my attention im thinking to build (Resurrection remix 7 android 9) because it has a source code but it might take a while because im still studying it for now my twrp is on stanby for flashing and trying any rom that would fit for my phone

you can fix the unknown baseband easily using Zarchiver grant root access then go to ROOT/data/nvdata then delete all the files inside it then after reboot them check if it work because it works fine in me while in the case of the null imei you can only fix it using tools like SN writer or Modem meta
