Thanks bro , i did look at this and followed the steps but i couldn't get it to work. I did number one because i'm already rooted and have lollipop. Could you give a more basic step ? like which files to download ? i know the terms. I just can't seem to understand it .

Since you don't have twrp your best choice is step 1 of autoprime. Just follow the steps. Make sure you have the latest USB drivers for lg g3. Also you need to make sure your device is properly connected via adb. To do that you open a terminal inside the folder containing the files. To get adb correctly you hit shift and right click inside the folder the open terminal. Once terminal is open you start by connecting the device via adb. To check is connected your adb device id must show with the word device in front. If it shows unauthorized you need to allowed the connection on the phone. Once connected you need to push the files to the root of the sdcard
adb push "each file" /sdcard/
Then follow with the commands on step 1. Very important to rename twrp file to the name shown in the command.

THANK YOU I GOT IT but i have a quick question , i can now flash exposed on here ? and get roms that are bumped ?

You can flashes any rom bumped since this is bumped as well, if you run into a boot loop make sure to flash the corresponding modem either kk or lollipop. About xposed you can try but you better read the best way to install it because there are issues with lg cover app and the weather app.

i got it working, now im just trying to figure out why G3 tweakbox is not working with xposed

I actuality used the twrp app and it worked like a charm.

There are other threads that discuss this matter in detail. I personally don't use xpose until gets more friendly and stable with lollipop.

i understand thanks bro

I've been using TWRP manager, since I'm avoiding xposed on 5.0.2 ( APM+ is the only xPosed module I really miss, anyway).

[Q] how to update rooted Xoom to 3.1 or 3.2

dears,
i have rooted 3G Xoom (MZ601).. 3.0.1
now i want to update it to 3.1 or 3.2
and i want to activate the US market ..
please, any one can guide me to do it ..
Simplest way i know.
1. Relock your zoom and go back to stock:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/xo...stboot-official-system-images.html#post708799
2. Update through the system update on your xoom.
3. Once you get up to 3.2 unlock and reroot your xoom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1170760
+ this way now you can reset it back to stock completely if you ever need too. Step by step guides are very easy to follow. Mostly copy and paste commands into notepad if your lazy like me. The whole process takes maybe 20 minutes.

Hi ,
I think you can go directly from 3.01 to 3.2 using this guide:

If you don't already have ClockworkMod recovery v3.2.0.0 R4c installed, pay attention to post #7.
Good luck!
incase you dont have sdk installed put all files in a folder on your C:/ directory with a name you can find. Youll need these in addition to be able to use adb on your computer File name: SDK ADB.zip File size: 359.93 KB put them all in a folder called rootxoom or something.

His Xoom is 3G there is no OTA update to 3.2 for 3G.
I really would not relock and go back to stock. He's rooted and that's more than half the battle.
is3od, the method I posted is for non-US Xooms as long as they are rooted.
i'll try it

adb devices returns no devices
I have followed the tutorial after reading through it several time to unlock and root stock xoom 3.2. when i get to the adb devices command it returns me to the prompt with no devices returned or shown. i have android sdk windows in root of C:. i have rootboot.img, superuser.apk & su binary in a xoom folder in my downloads folder. i open the cmd in the download folder wherein resides rootboot.img, superuser.apk & su binary and type adb devices and nothing. i can see the xoom in explorer so i assume the usb drivers are there. i do have a yellow flag in other devices in device manager-other devices that says MZ604. but i can find no drivers anywhere for it though i have scoured the web for 2 days. i am at a loss as i have tried to perform this root for 2 days using all of my adb noob skills, but have had no luck as of yet. any suggestions? win7, stock xoom 3.2 wifi, pretty computer savvy except for adb
Thanks for any help as i only have 4 days of return left in case of brickage, which i am not so sure i would do inasmuch as it would be my fault...

Make sure USB Debugging is checked under Settings/Applications/Development. If it is checked, then there is something wrong with your drivers.

I'd like to do the same as OP, update a rooted stock 3.0.1 euro 3G to 3.2 - I've already come across the thread you link to, but there's something I don't get.
pienut (user whose post you linked to) is saying that he went from 3.0.1 to 3.2, but in step 3 he writes:
Step 3 - Install 3.2 EURO rom:
Just copied the Euro 3.2 update from this post to my SD Card and flashed it from recovery.
Just to be sure, I did a full wipe after flashing.

Am I missing something, or is the SD card not disabled in 3.0.1? I know it is for me, afaik it only started working with 3.1 and up. I can't wrap my mind around going from 3.0.1 -> 3.2 using the SD card method, and yet it's mentioned in quite a few more threads and posts.
Ideally, I'd like to update to the Xoom ROM 2.1 Hammerhead (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1203635), but in those instructions, too, step 2 says
Download the 2.1 rom zip file and place it on your external sdcard

How, if I can't access it in the first place? Should I install 3.1 first before I install Hammerhead? If so, do you know about any step-by-step I can follow?
Sorry to jump in on this thread like this... it was the closest I could find related to my problem after hours of searching and reading. Thanks.
Alright, I figured it out on my own... I took a leap of faith and installed the ClockworkMod Recovery 3.2.0.0 (R4c), booted to recovery, and in there it's possible to mount the SD card under mounts and storage > mount usb storage. It will then appear in Windows as an external drive (as usual).
Yay, learned something new today. Now on to the next battle

Hi
Thanks for your quick reply. I have managed to take the screenshot as attached. Looks like it has issues while copying. I did exactly what you have instructed:
1. Install USB Driver
2. Unmount SD Card
3. Run the batch file under developer mode...then it has cleared the 1st step....
Regs
Before this method, did you tried anything to root?
Nope, as i got this device only last week.
I want to see what are the files inside /system/xbin.
You can get that by running these cmd on adb
adb shell
ls /system/xbin
And just to add, i have Kaspersky AV installed, is that prevents my rooting?

[Q] How make the TF101 Stock and unroot?

Hi
I've been having heavy troubles with the "Android Revolution HD" ROM, my battery lasts forever while in use, but drowns easily and extremely fast when in sleep / shutdown mode.
So I give up, I am going to sell this tablet and I don't want this ROM any more, I don't want my devince Root. I want to get it back to the way it was when I opened the box.
The only think I'd like to get is the Eee Pad Transformer TF101 Firmware: V9.2.1.27 original from Asus to keep using the Android 4.0.X, nothing else.
Since all my attemps of install / reinstall / stock / root / unroot became a mass failure and later on I end coming here and QQ for help I am here to ask what need to be done before doing anything on the tablet.
So here is the summarized question:
How make the TF101 Stock and unroot?
Thank you
And sorry for my silliness

Sorry, put the file on the external sdcard. I also used a full wipe script. It takes a little more than installing a custom rom but it works.
I would like to take a question with you. I have already installed several custom ICS rom or JellyBean on my TF101, but the HD videos on youtube are with small crashes. But with Android 3.2.1 works well. This has happened to you?

Did you see any text on the TF display? It should show some text when it is flashing.
Also, when in recovery you can use ADB to push the ww-epad firmware to your tablet's sdcard. Update the driver for the naked driver ADB and then:
adb push ROM.zip /sdcard/
If you need ADB, you can get the adb and dll files required to run here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/34321735/adb.zip

http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/2954/lemh.jpg
Try using this version of adb: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/34321735/adb.zip
It is just the adb.exe and the two dll files required to run it.
I use those in a folder called c:\adb and then put the asus.zip in there and try it.
Also, try executing adb devices to make sure it can connect to your tablet. It should find 1 device.

Hmm, not sure what to say....
Do you have another PC you can try it on? At least try a PC reboot if nothing else.
Or perhaps a Linux live cd. ADB is native to Linux, just run from a terminal window.

System backup please?!

Hi people. Ive just bricked my Relay by installing Chainfire3D(dont laugh at me I know im stupid)))). So can anyone do a backup the system by Recovery mode and send me to my email [email protected] or attach it here, I will put it in my SD and do a restore from recovery mode(i didnt brick it fully, I guess its called softbrick).
I would really appreciate anybodies help. Please people I really need help...Thanks in advance)))
Just flash a new ROM in recovery, or if you plan to just do a restore of a system partition you would need to give out more information as to flash the correct one as each ROM will have a different system partition

Hey, just emailed the stock ROM, and the stock Recovery. You will need to install the stock Rom first, then flash the stock recovery. Hope it helps.

To install I need to know a couple of things, are you using a computer with Windows? Also do you have a custom recovery on your phone? Hold onto the Volume up key+Home+Power, when it vibrates and shows "Recovery Mode" in little blue letters on the screen let go of the buttons and it will boot into recovery mode. If it looks like the picture here [cdn.droidviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/android-recovery-on-galaxy-s3.jpg], this is stock recovery. If it has "ClockworkMod Recovery" you are off to a good start. Let me what you have.

So to get back to stock, on your recovery there should be an option to sideload a file using ADB. Your going to have to use these instructions to get ADB onto your Windows install.
1. Make sure Java is installed on your system go to.....www.java.com/ and install their version, and restart computer if necessary.
2. Then go to http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html to download the SDK for android allowing use of ADB. You will need to extract this folder to your C: drive. 1-Create a folder on the root of your C: called Android, then unpack the SDK you downloaded into this folder, and open up sdkmanager.exe and install updates and packages. The main one you want is called "platform-tools" which holds the ADB.exe file you will need.
2.A) Make sure you clear/format your cache/dalvik cache/ and data before you flash the zip in the instructions below.
3. Now connect your phone to your computer via usb, and boot into recovery, you will need to choose install zip/sideload with adb (these are generic instructions since I have a different recovery than you.
4. Now it will be waiting for the program you just installed to "push" the zip to your phone. So go to the Start menu, and type in the search box cmd and hit enter.
5. Now type in "CD C:\Android\(**whatever SDK file you have**)\platform-tools\" and hit enter. When typing you can hit the TAB key to autocomplete the folder name. Now your directory should of changed, and you should be able to type "adb sideload (you will need to type in the full path of the file where you stored the Stock JB image at (the one I emailed you). and hit enter. Once it sideloads you should be able to reboot and it will bootup regularly, after this I would suggest flashing philz touch recovery which has a few more features.

How should I chooseinstall zip/sideload with adb? 5) should I use recovery.img??? And what about that huge mb thing that you sent to me, what shiold I do with that....I should have warned you that I dont have a lot of experience in all this stuff and I need stepbystep less technical instructions

605 MB I should have said......what I meant was that in your first reply you told to install rom and then flash recovery and I dont think all that is done by only these 5 steps

Since you have ClockworkMod you won't be needing the "stock-recovery.zip" I sent you. You will only need the "JB-stock-system.zip". Now when the drivers install make a checklist and make sure you have Java installed...and then the Android SDK. It really is a 3 step process, but since you soft-bricked your phone you can't simply copy the stock-system.zip to your sdcard and flash that in recovery. You will need adb to communicate with your phone while in recovery.

Oh crap I didnt see you had a link there, let me check that one out
This isn't probably the best thread to suggest this, but I recommend you look into a linux distro to install on your laptop. Before I had my current one, I was on a 7 year old HP compaq, and I put Lubuntu on it, and made it pretty much brand new. The only thing is getting used to the Linux filesystem, and commandline. Might take a few weeks of using it, but it really helped me out when XP was terribly slow. It also installs ADB and can interface with android phone. Maybe try a liveUSB so you don't have to install it.

With the stock I gave you, you will not be rooted, it will appear as if you just turned it on for the first time, if you want to be root and use Cyanogenmod, I suggest instead of sideloading the image I gave you, go here and download this and sideload this rom (this is stable 10.2)
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=stable&device=apexqtmo
Also here is awesome instructions (stepbystep) to install everything on it.

Ok so if I download this and lets say put this zip in c:\Android what command should I run in cmd???

Solved! Unlocking the Bootloader and Rooting Oppo A71 CPH1717 (MT6750)

Hi everyone I just found out a way recently on how to unlock the bootloader without losing data and root Oppo A71 Cph1717 ,but just in case please i encourage you to backup your phone before doing this, i tested this with my own phone and it works so now lets start!!!
1) download and install latest python (ensure to tick the checkbox Add Python x.x to PATH) ------>https://www.python.org/downloads/
2) download and install preloader driver -----> https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9...dUE/view?resourcekey=0-TN-5Ipeegh7SowX4sduz_g
3) download the latest MTK-client zip --------> https://github.com/bkerler/mtkclient
4) unzip the mtk-client and open the CMD or Powersell inside the extracted MTK-client folder
5) enter the first command -----> python setup.py install ,and wait until the process is done
6) after the installation is done enter the second command ----> pip3 install -r requirements.txt ,wait until the process is done.
7) Now this is the part to where you are going to unlock the bootloader of your Oppo A71
8) enter command -----> python mtk da seccfg unlock it will wait for the phone to be connected
9) Now power off your phone, connect the small part of the usb cable in your phone, hold both up and down volume button and connect the another end of the usb cable to the computer and you will see the process starting after the process is done boot up your phone and the VIOLA!!! you have unlocked your bootloader without losing any data!!,when you see a warning ( your device has been unlocked and cannot be trusted , your device will boot in 5 seconds....) dont worry its very normal , Now lets hop in on how to root your oppo a71 .
Second Rooting your Oppo A71 CPH1717
1) download latest magisk apk and install it on your phone
2) download your stock rom in your PC -----> https://oppostockrom.com/oppo-a71-cph1717
3) and extract the stock rom in your pc
4) now go to developers option of your phone and enable usb debugging and select the type of connection and select MTP while connected in pc
5) copy the extracted boot.img in your internal storage
5) now open magisk app and select install (you can select Preserve AVB option if you want ) then select next and press the Select img and select the boot.img that you copied fron the PC and then press lets go option
6) wait until the patching is done
7) after the process is done, now copy the magisk_patched.img in the pc ( you can find it in your internals download folder)
8) now create a folder in your pc name it Root flash
9) move the magisk_patched.img in the folder that you created and rename it boot (no extension and other things )
10) copy the scatter file, preloader.bin from the extracted stock rom in to the folder that you created (root flash folder)
11) download sp flash tool ------>https://spflashtool.com/download/ ,and unzip it in your pc
12) open the sp flash folder and open flash tool.exe
13) now see scatter-loading file option and click choose go to the created folder( root flash folder) and select the scatter file
14) now untick the preloader but not the boot
15) click the download button , power off your phone ,connect the small part of the usb cable to your phone ,hold the up and down volume button then connect the another end of the usb to the Pc
16) wait until the flashing is done you will receive a green check in the screen ,disconnect your phone from the pc and turn your phone on and VIOLA!!!! your Oppo a71 CPH1717 is now rooted you can check the magisk app if its installed or install root checker
if i did something wrong pls feel free to tell me
PS: only follow this instruction that i created on how to unlock bootloader if your phone is Oppo A71 CPH1717 because if you follow another tutorial for unlocking the bootloader of this phone TRUST me it will going to be fu*ked up!!!!
BTW if you didn't enable the (Allow OEM unlock, but to be sure please enable it) option don't worry its ok trust me ,you can see it too in my screenshot.
you can refer to the screenshots below from my phone for the evidence , i hope this helps others.
