changing my CSC to XAR to enable*Samsung pay? - Samsung Gear S3

I've tried the code posted in other threads but it does nothing for me. I have the SM-R770x which appears to be some sort of demo unit. My unit on the back says it's a demo not for resale.
Anyway, last night I installed the Sm-R770 stock ROM with no issues. Samsung pay still isn't there. I know this has something to do with changing something to "XAR" but when I type the really long code into the dialer on the watch dialer but nothing happens.
Am I SOL from those with experience? I know how to run netOdin and don't need help there, I am like 90% of the way there if someone could lend me a hand. Please?

Did u figure this out ... I'm not sure but I read somewhere that the code has to be entered into some keystring app .. if not there is also like a ADB command to do it .. ( called SDB for the watch ) u can find it easily

[Q] Sim unlock for japanese android phone (007SH)

Hi guys. I have an android japanese phone called 007SH
The thing is that it's sim locked (only way to use it is by hypersim, which would be something that goes WITH the simcard inside the phone, and provides unlock, but it has many disadvantages).
The Sim lock is located in the NAND, so the traditional method of introducing a number to unlock it won't work here. There's currently a temp-root for this phone, so one can access the system files. The thing is that I do not know anything about that, so I wanted to ask you if you can help me with this: you can tell me which file or files have the lock, so that I can send them to you, and you can modify them so that the lock no longer exists. ... I'm asking this because there IS a unlock for this phone, but it's not something you can just download: you've gotta send the phone to Russia and the unlocking service costs 150 dollars :/ . I'm writting this because not many people have this phone, but I'm in a japanese phones forum and everyone is discussing about this, so I thought it would be nice to share this to the experts (you, the XDA developers community) to ask for help.
so yeah, if you can help me I'd appreciate it ^_^
I've learned a little more and have more idea about the location of the sim-lock. Now there's currently full root for the phone, and NAND has been unlocked. I've searched through the internet and apparently the sim-lock is located in the radio folder of the NAND memory. People in a forum say that Qualcomm's NAND code is not particularly unique or difficult to understand; but I have no idea about that ... so I was wondering if I could upload the radio folder of my phone, so that someone who wants to help me can discover the sim-lock, and remove it (and then send it to me again )
please someone reply, or else I'll feel that I'm talking alone xD

Well, Android doesn't have 100% full integration with the numeric keypad. I mean, you can use it for SMS, calls and emulators in which you can set the keys, but there aren't a lot of apps which nativly uses the keypad. Anyways, it's a good phone. The bad thing is: I desperatly need the SIM-Unlock because the hypersims I have doesn't work correctly, I lose signal and can't recover so I have to "CPR" the phone (I have to remove the SIM+Hypersim, put the SIM in a normal phone, wait till it gets signal, and then put the SIM+Hypersim again in the japanese phone). The problem is that, I don't know why, but if I want to use my japanese phone, I must do that every 20 minutes: obviously that's not an option for me, and for now I'm using my old Nokia N82 till somebody finds the Sim unlock.
Hi,
i got a 007SH as well.
like to check how do you input space using the hardware keypad?
i pressed and hold #, it will input # and a space.
how can i just input space without the #?
Thanks!

Banned from a forum, used device id changer and mac address changer but still detecte

Hi guys,
I have been blocked from a forum called whirlpool. The mods on there are ridiculous. If anyone has used the site they know what i'm talking about.
The only way I was able to create a new account and go undetected was when i bought a new phone (galaxy s8+) and have used the account fine, using vpn's , new browsers , wiping the phone didn't etc didn't work which leads me to believe they are using device id's to detect banned users.which i think is extremely wrong as they make no mention of this in their ToS. however after a thousand posts on whirlpool i decided to blow my own cover and tell the mods i know they are tracking people. Now my account is banned again.
I have since decided to use magisk and twrp and used "Device ID changer" and "change my mac" yet they still detected me as me.
What possible method could they be using to stil be able to detect me?
After using "device id changer" i notice my android device id is changed but my "hardware serial" is still the same. Could that be it? If so, is there a way to change my hardware serial number?
Thanks for any help.

How DC-Unlocker/Phoenix/HCU-Client works ?

Hi everyone !
Recently I hard bricked my Honor 6X, I was unable to boot or nothing and fastboot wasn't working well (answering command not allowed to every commands).
I did a lot of googling about how to recover it. In the same time, I learned quite a lot about fastboot protocol and few tricks about it (nothing "waw": just secrets commands and things like that ). But even with this I failed at recovering the phone
So I try and got success with DC-Phoenix (and his brothers DC-Unlocker and HCU-Client) However I am very curious and frustrated that a software has fixed my phone in seconds and I was wondering : HOW IT WORKS ?
I did a lot of research on this specific software and found nothing or no one who looked into it
So, does anyone know anything? Or where should I look? Is that a back door that a Huawei employee knows? Or just USB hacking stuff? Does the software interact directly with any hardware components such as the processor? Any other magic stuff a secret wizard from the world of idk told to a secret guy on earth ?
I love you guys <3
someone said software is a bitc* it will be good if we get it free. these guys know so many backdoor fastboot commands to force install anything from fastboot and they keep those commands in their servers and they only executed to their paid customers via online. so someone with deep computer knowledge can grab these commands will solve this problem but no one doing it.

It doesn't surprise me that the commands are stored on a server and downloaded only when the client pay
I will continue my research by my side to find out how all this works and share this but it's gonna take time because I don't have deep enough knowledge in reverse engineering or hacking software :crying: If anyone wants to join me it would be with pleasure ^^

They might be encrypted like whatsapp chat messages so it is not easy as you think.
both programs shows from multiple antivirus as have trojans and malware.
made more suspicious by the fact they don't allow running on a virtual machine.
Makes me wonder what they are putting on the phone.

CSC changing without having to root the phone?

Hello there,
I am new to these issues regarding Samsung phones but hope you can help me out.
My friend from Australia gave me his Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, SM-G925I from Optus Australia, G925IDVU4FRD3. It has no default recording calls; I tried to add to the CSC file:
( <CscFeature_VoiceCall_ConfigRecording>RecordingAllowed</CscFeature_VoiceCall_ConfigRecording> ) but I am not able to do it because that file ( others.xml at the system folder ) is only read attribute and I can not change it to a readable/written one, without rooting.
I have no idea about rooting the phone and checked on internet but looks way too complicated for me, so I am trying to change the CSC without rooting, is that possible??
Tried this code using the phone dialer: *#243203855# that's to change the country sales code, but nothing happened :crying: .
Tried this another also: *#272*<IMEI># but it's not possible either .
What should I do? I just need to be able to record calls; I know I could install some apps but I would rather use the default Samsung recording calls feature.
I thought installing another firmware from another country but then not sure which country allows recording calls, plus it looks really complex to follow the instructions there :laugh:
Thank you for your help,
Regards!!

NOW, I want to say "Yes. it will ! BUT!
(not on my Win10 side (I tend to run Ubuntu @ 95%). I do know that they (Samsung) did change around a couple of Programs, like Kies and like an few others. )
So with that ... I say try it. Will not hurt, and could just work for you. But, IF Kies3 does not work, it will bring up a pop-up, to the other Program to use. In the pop-up, it will show you where to get that "Other" Program. So head there, (its a web site), there, you will get some info about it, as well as the Download. Install...
After which, you will know "IF" kies3 will work , as well as, the "Other" Program that does.
Post back, what you have done. (I will be ion Windows later today-SO I will check that the correct one to use)
