Leave it to you always flash the latest ROM. Anyway, on the topic of Face Unlock, did you flash Nano Gapps. Those are the ones that have Face Unlock and I am using them on Pixys with Face Unlock working. So does it work on this ROM. What customization options are available. Can you turn off the navigation bar.

The only customization I am interested in is wether it has option to disable the navigation bar. But on a side note, would you say that the customization are similar to the one present in Resurrection Remix? Cause that's pretty much the standard. If so, then I am happy to ditch Pixys and use this as a substitute for RROS Pie. Also, does it have the Now Playing Feature.

the only things need to be fixed on aex is sdcard (works only in gallery, telegram etc) and probably some missed gestures the rest is working fine.

lel, go to Settings > System > Gestures, some FP Gestures are missed.
about external sdcard isn't fully worked yet. isn't clear now?
So, I just tried to install this ROM. Installed Stock EMUI 8. Booted to TWRP, Wiped Dalvik/ART Cache, Cache, System, Data & Internal. Formated Data. But when I tried to install the ROM, Got error 7 in TWRP along with this ROM is for hi6250. Any Ideas? I have a Honor 6X.
EDIT: Just tried with Askuccio's TWRP and now it worked. Weird.

I've this issue about error 7 some times to and mostly happen after wipe system partition, in fact I resolve by reverting to emui 8 and flash the rom as "dirty flash". GSI should be system.img flashed via fastboot and wiping data & cache with stock recovery (that's working fine for me) Treble has nothing to do with twrp.

1) You need to follow the installations steps mentioned in OP, no one talked about format data.
2) It can be caused maybe by gapps. The Pico Opengapps package is the most recommended

Thanks for your help. I managed to fix it by using Askuccio's TWRP.
I am not getting any download notification when downloading either by play store or Chrome. How to fix.

A Huge shoutout to @Njishi for testing the ROM! Not having the device myself, he is the one who helped me out with everything!
So. The bugs(Present in LOS 14.1) are:-
1). Device force reboots after setting first fingerprint, no matter when.
2). Force reboot after toggling airplane mode (occasionally)(2/3 times)
3). Force reboot after soft reboot!
4). Flashlight works (1/2 times of total attempts).
5). Video recording force closes with stock camera application. You can use 3rd party apps (Open Camera working).
Fixed:-
1). VoLTE working.
2). Hotspot working.
3). Screen recorder working (Du recorder) (Az screen recorder still not working).
4). 4K videos 60Fps playing.

I have just flashed the ROM but i cant find option to disable hardware buttons. You can only enable software buttons.

I have encountered a weird problem ..wheneven we try to unlock the phone via fingerprint scanner if it fails to match the fingerprint then it will not look for further prints ...so we have to match the prints in one go otherwise we cannot unlock the phone via fp scanner...
Is this attached screen shot from AOSP Extended, if yes then how to get the same in our phone.
Becoz i have install the AOSP Extended but i have not found this type of incall ui in our ROM.

remove fingerprints, then clear cache, dalvik cache reboot and reconfinger.

You have to install either stock or some gapps package with Google contacts app, phone dialer and phone call ui. You can use Gapps based on 7.1.1. arm 64 stock version. It will give you a feel of having a pixel.

Yes that's why I did this. AEX is really battery friendly and stable. And I added MotoCamera too so will work for most people's needs.
AEX v5.1 soon.

It's not the official one. It's just a guy who saw a link. This build is just more updated and stable, also comes with MotoCamera.
Previously it was maintained by my friend FireLord
The ROM was last updated in September. He is busy with his exams. Moreover he has greater responsibilities for the AEX. From his permission I have acquired to maintain for MZP.
Though I'll have the official word soon!
Right now it's unofficial but no less because Aman helped me make this better!

i do like this rom ive used the other developers version before also but on this one the camera keeps failing to start. I get error camera has stopped. I figured out that when flashing a different kernel like the lineage fixed kernel or valaryan kernel so that modules can be installed but it breaks the camera.
I had been getting a lot of apps failing and crashing on this latest release earlier today, anyone having the same issues.

Yes. It was hard putting Moto Camera in it and there is a build of 13/01 where it would keep crashing. It was fixed in the 14/01 build. Don't change the kernel, trust me the safety net is working already and battery is good! And it'd surely mess up the camera. I'll look in to the issue, though.
But how can I install magisk modules without the fixed lineage kernel.

Do a clean install. This would happen if you reflashed your system partition without wiping data. Just do a clean flash of the rom, gapps and whatever you need at once. And don't reflash the rom zip without wiping data. It corrupts the apps!

Thanks for the tip but I do, do I fresh clean install on every rom if now or an update. I never deal with a dirty flash, learned over the years can not trust a dirty flash in any manner.

It will only break MotoCamera. The other camera app i.e SnapCamera will work fine.

Yes I totally agree. I was testing the MotoCamera app so I was stuck in bootloop, I reflashed system without touching anything else. Rom booted but all the google apps broke. Even some other apps. Some would say No internet Connection some would just force close. Then I uninstalled and installed them again, they'd work fine! So I'd tell you the same thing, either try reinstalling them or just do a clean flash. It'd surely work!

Q: Is this Android GO rom, Will this kill animations on 2GB device variants too ?
A:- Yes, this is an android go rom and nope it wont affect any Animation etc on 2GB ram variant. This is a combined build android go mode would only be activated on 1GB ram variants. Developers the hack which i used here is this.
Q: Camcorder crashes on recording ?
A:- I was lazy to hardcode the recording quality to 720P . Change the recording quality from 1080P to 720P camcorder would be fine then.
Q: New update when?
A:- Whenever I feel like its right time for an update users are requested not to give their useless advices and ask for etas as i won't be paying attention to them and it would be ignored.
Q: Which TWRP variant is correct?
A:- Use this one TWRP-ARM-A6000-3.2.1-20180210.img
Q: Do I need to flash Hex firmware patch ?
A:- If you have already flashed it once then their is no need to flash it again.
Q: Can I flash XY mod on my rom, Does this rom support XY mod?
A:- Yes you can flash XY mod on this rom. Rom Might/Might-not support the mod and if you flashed XY mod or altered system files I won't support you for sure.
Q: I found this bug, Fix when ?
A:- If you have found a bug make sure you report it with proper logs {Logcat, Kmsg, Event Logs}, Also provide a method of reproducing the bug so it could be fixed earliest.

The gapps provided is Pico, which doesn't have Face Unlock option, for FU, you would have to flash nano or higher.
I am not using nano currently, since I don't need face unlock and prefer Pico package.
So go varient won't activate on 2gb ram
Can u pls provide stock 8.1 gapps
Google gapps for this rom and get micro package gapps which is the best gapps package I though for everything.

battery showing 5 Hrs SOT without optimization
VOLTE is working fine no issue. call is received even data is off for jio sim.
no lagging, MAIN PROBLEM I HAVE FACED IS SD CARD IS TREATED AS INTERNAL STORAGE, (came to know about it after installing Es file explorer)
music and such earlier data files are not reading. Inbuilt file-explorer not showing internal storage. so you can not explore any thing.

I've noticed when you install Google Photos, you can get unlimited storage because it says "Photos & Videos uploaded from your Pixel before 1/16/21 get unlimited free storage at original quality". Maybe because this ROM is based on Pixel Experience

->Rom is based on AOSP.
-Why no "Incremental updates" Support?
->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuffs are merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend clean flash.
-Does this ROM Support Substratum/CMTE?
->Yes, full Substratum support!
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

Can't make it work
Hi! I trying to install this ROM on my tablet with TWRP and can't seem to make it work.
I followed the instructions:
I wiped (dalvik/art cache, data, cache and system) first
then went to Install and found my image and installed it (selected system image partition to flash - I have to say it went kinda fast not sure if it should, but did not error out)
now I went on to install gapps and here I encounter my first problem: it failed saying that GApps pkg is only for Android 9.0.x ONLY | Please download the correct version for your ROM: 8.1.0 (SDK 27) and exited with Error Code: 20 (now I'm starting to think that it did not install the ROM correctly in the previous step)
I try to reboot the system then and I get prompted with a message saying that No OS Installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot? (which is kinda weird)
after reboot it goes to fastboot and stays there
I am able to restore to a previous backup that I've made, but I really want to install this custom ROM.
Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong and point me in the right direction?

I think I found the root cause of my problems.
Because I'm a noob in regards to custom ROMs I thought I had to unpack the archive AOSPExtended and just get the boot.img from there and install it.
So after figuring this out I just copied the whole archive on my device went to Install on TWRP, selected the archive and everything went all right, even Gapps installed correctly.

This is not GSI image, what you installed?
You don't need to flash it via install image just flash zip file and gapps. it will work

Hi thanks for your work. I love this ROM on my X2 Leeco The max 2, and I will test it on my mi pad 4.
Just two questions:
1 / AEX for MI PAD 4, will she soon have an official status?
2 / Are the following options available in AEX mi pad 4 ?
DT2W to wake the screen / raise the mid pad 4 to wake the screen

Hi everything works perfectly with the last build. Good battery. no lag ... everything is perfect ..
I just noticed a bug. In AEX extensions, \ Recent, the recent application display type is stuck on Oreo .. and even if the Pie display is chosen. Recent tasks / applications always appear as Oreo.
