Can anyone refer a phone with a qwerty keyboard that works outside of the US? so far the only one I can find is the droid 2 global but I hear there's a GSM version of samsung's galaxy s pro somewhere
I was looking to buy an international Note 3 but they are out of my budget. I then noticed that second hand AU Note 3's are very cheap. Does anyone know what the differences are and if it is possible to flash it with an international or American rom?
Thanks!
Hi all,
I was under the impression (could be wrong), unlike the OG Pixel and Pixel 2, the Pixel 3 series does not allow carrier's own firmware, which means everything it maintained by Google, such as VoLTE/VoWifi support.
With OG Pixel and Pixel 2, I know the ones directly purchased from Google may not always have VoLTE/VoWifi working with certain carriers. Is this the still the case with Pixel 3 series?
Cheers.
Currently every phone must be approved/whitelisted by carrier for VoLTE / VoWiFi or you must download carrier's app for VoWiFi (if they released it).
It's a good will of a carrier if they approve phones that are not sold by them.
There are a version on pixel experience for samsung galaxy tab s6 lite. My version has sim.
Hello. I am from Europe and thinking about getting Pixel 6a phone in this black Friday sales.
Are there any problems using Japanese version in Europe?.
Also I saw in the Google developers webpage the firmware version since 3 updates like there are no differences in released versions for different phones.
Should be no problem at all. I don't see the Japanese version, maybe that's the international? But there is a slight difference in bands between versions. https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.gsmarena.com/google_pixel_6a-ampp-11229.php
