Cast screen

My oneplus cannot cast to roku (it has a seemingly new beta feature of screen mirroring).
I am able to see the roku as a casting device. However, when selecting it attempts to start the casting, but stops.
My other phone nexus 5 is able to do the mirroring without issues.
It's stock oneplus, no root.)lollipop upgraded.
Any help to get screen mirroring working?

Miracast screen mirroring cast does not work

New and need help please. I have not been able to get the screen casting o mirroring to work with my NVIDEA Shield Tablet WI-FI. I had Android 5.1.1. and now have 6.0 and no change. I am able to pair the two Android devices and both say connected but when I press Cast it has never indicated any available devices. Is it not able to Cast to another Android device? I am trying to screen cast to the Epson Movario BT-200 glasses which has Android 4.0.1 but also Miracast. My Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.4 inch is able to screen mirror to the Epson glasses but it gets a bit laggy. So I thought the NVIDEA Shield tablet would have more power but I am not able to get the Tablet to recognize the glasses in Screen Cast even though it does recognize and even connect to the glasses over WIFI. Have tried 2.4 GHz, 5GHz, and Auto band modes. Unfortunatly there is no Android update for Epson BT-200 glasses and likely never will be. I have rooted all devices and have tried about 7 different screen mirroring apps. (Epson Glasses do not allow Google Play store without rooting and some apps won't load).
Any advice welcome. I don't mind spending the time trying. I am not really smart but I was able to get my Shield tablet out of a boot loop by flashing new .img over USB from my PC through DOS command prompts, so I can usually figure it out with time.
Miracast hasn't worked on my original shield tablet since 5.0 update. I had used a Belkin to miracast, it's firmware is current and works with W8 and W10, and several older Android devices...I think it really only casts to Google cast devices now!

Why don't I have a 'Cast Screen' (Screen Mirroring) option in my Android M6.1?

I recently bought a non-branded Android M Phone with a STOCK Marshmallow. I can't find an option to cast or mirror screen to TV, although I've used my Android L5.1 to mirror the screen to my Samsung Series 5 Smart TV for a while. My questions are, do all android M phones miss the screen mirroring feature? Or just my phone's developer didn't build screen mirroring in the stock ROM? Can I somehow cast my screen to my Samsung Smart TV by another app or something?

Click to collapse
It's not a "standard" feature for all marshmallow devices.
Try some of these apps. If your hardware doesn't support mirroring then you won't be able to do it no matter what you do.

Screen Mirroring
I did use the first app that you provided in the link. It seems to work but my TV says unable to connect. (And my phone supports Screen Mirroring too). I think it's a problem of settings. How would i configure in for connecting it to my TV?

MirrorLink not working after update to Android 7

My Samsung S6 SM-G920I with Android 6.01 was working fine on mirrorlink connect to my Honda Jazz 2015.
But my phone can't connect to my car anymore after update to Android 7.0 nougat few days ago. My car touch screen shows " Smartphone not compatible" and my phone screen gone black with" Your device and car are connected via MirrorLink". I re-connect and restart my phone & car many times...no luck.
I tried change USB cable and repair Bluetooth, still doesn't work. I can not downgrade back to Android 6.01.
I contacted with Samsung Technical support Australia. Their answer is: "the mirror link no longer functioning since Android 7 Nougat update released, although Samsung phone's setting still has mirror link optional setup. They can not do anything about it. That is Google's problem." What?
Samsung should warn all the user such function will be removed before they update the firmware to Android Nougat 7.0.
Could anyone help me for this issue, please.
Thank you very much.
Same here; Updated to Nougat, Mirrorlink is no longer functioning. I purchased Sygic Navigation specifically because this was the only navigation app supported by Mirrorlink. Anyone got any ideas?
I have 2 galaxy s 7 one IS factory unlocked and other international unlocked international model still working after 7.0 update but US model no more working and I guess mirror link version might be different in my 2 devices. Hope once the mirror link in the vehicle is update possibly will work
@Louis Che
Louis, Did you find solution for this problem ?
Thanks.

Screen Mirror to Samsung SmartTv

How can I mirror my phone screen to Samsunng Smart TV? I tried few Samsung Apps but without success. Did any one manage to do it? Also After I have installed Smartview app I can use my phone as a Pilot but I must first turn it on :S I could turn on/off my TV using Galaxy S8+ without problem...
Ok so I found it and want to share if someone will also have any problems.
This is built in feature.
Go to: Settings > Bluetooth &device connection > Connection preferences > Cast
Of course you need to be connected to the same network as your TV.
It works pretty nice.
Good luck all!
And just faced another problem. I can screen cast to my Samsung Smart TV without problem but when I try to do it on the older Samsung Smart TV version at my parents-in-law I have a problem.
First of all phone is finding TV very slowly and when it is found, I click to connect then it tries to connect, I get notification on TV that OnePlus is trying to connect and after 2-3 secods I get info on TV - disconnected and screen cast stops on my phone.
Using 9.5.4 EU soft version, TV is up to date.
Any ideas?
