Adding date, day, battery etc to status bar without root - Asus ZenFone 3 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Just share an app from play store called status bar mini to achieve above mentioned since I'm back to relocked bootloader and unrooted.

It's very customizable. Credits to dev, this is not my work.

Battery Status Pro

Anyone got the apk for this app? I did a firmware flash on my Galaxy-S and lost Battery Status Pro from Seasiaconsulting. I downloaded the app free from google marked, but now it has suddenly gone when i search for it.
This was the only good statusbar battery percentage app i could find.
Please help.
Link: androlib.com/android.application.batterys-batterys-tqjq.aspx
It has been replaced by this one.
Thanks for the reply, but when i scan the QR code i get: The requested item can not be found. And when i search for "battery status pro" or "battery.battery" on marked, i get no replies for battery status pro
I tried scanning qr code for Battery Status Ultimate, from the same company, but i get same: "Item could not be found" msg.
Im using Samsung Galaxy-S with JM2 firmware if that has anything to do with it.
Any chance you could get the apk for me for the Pro version? Its free.
I used Market Enabler for Google Market, wich allowed me to get it
I'm having the same problem, I used market enabler with T-mobile US settings but still can't find it?. Do you remember what settings you used?
battery widget
try battery gauge widget on the market looks awesome and very accurate

[Q] Stock ICS Status bar + Notification Shade?

Alright, so with the recent Root for the AT&T HTC One X I was wondering if there is a way for me to replace the current (ugly) status bar HTC put on this beautiful phone with the stock ICS status bar and notification shade. There are some apps in the Play Store that let you alter the appearance on the status bar, but they run in the background and seem to just run over the status bar (sometimes it flashes and you see the default one). I'm still not up to par with all this rooting stuff (coming from a jailbroken iPhone and messing with Windows Phone 7 only gives me minimal experience with Androids take on things) and am not sure if this is possible with a locked bootloader. if you could go one step further and tell me how to strip Sense from the UI altogether without an unlocked bootloader I would be forever in your debt.
So if you thought tl;dr then: Can/how do I replace the stock status bar+notification shade with the stock ICS versions?
Thank you so much for any help you can provide!
Edit to add: I saw in some of the other threads for the international One X that there are transparent status bar tweaks, but those require flashing. Am I to assume the original question I posed is impossible without the ability to flash as well?
Unfortunately, were going to have to wait until the bootloader is unlocked, to allow custom ROMs to be installed, or someone figures how to deodex the stock system to allow developers to easily theme.
As for removing sense, i dont know what APKs you would have to delete for it. I do know that if you download an alternate launcher, such as apex launcher or nova launcher, you will not see sense widgets and you can hide the sense apps in the app drawer in apex and nova launcher pro.

I figured the bootloader would get in the way I wasn't sure if there was a way to modify the look of the OS (the core UI I should say) without requiring a custom ROM.
Currently I'm using Apex Launcher Pro and its pretty amazing, still Sense abounds outside of the homescreen.

Yeah, my best advice is to just give it some time, the phone has only been out on AT&T for 3 days now. I know developers are already working on an unlock for the bootloader now.

Yup I was surprised to see the root to be honest. I appreciate all the work the devs are doing and can't wait to see what they do with this device.
it is possible, actually, without being able to flash. last night i spent time just changing up some icons and replacing those lame emoticons with ICS Android blacked out ones. looks tons better. i used adb to pull/push back to the phone. i'm currently trying to figure out how to theme the HTC Skins...particularly the dock bar. maybe i should take a look in the international HOX threads to see if anyone has done this

Hide Softkeys?

LG, Huawei and a couple other companies have this feature baked into their take on Android, allowing you to hide softkeys on a per app basis. Anyone figured out a way to hide them on the Idol 3?

I think to hide the navigation bar you need root but I'm not sure. Have you tried doing a google search for "Hide Android navigation bar"? There's app on the play store but again they may need root and root has not yet been achieved.

There is an app in the Play Store, It works without root , and actually is not bad. The free version does not allow per-app setting. I tested it for a little while, and then uninstalled. I think I will keep the nav bar - since it hides or becomes transparent in videos and photos anyway. The browser is the only odd case - and I will live with it for now - actually the back button may come handy !

Yeah, I used GMD Auto Hide with the Z3 Compact and it worked flawlessly, but it doesn't seem to be too effective with my Idol. The time the softkeys bother me is during games that don't automatically put the screen into immersive mode, so not only do I usually accidentally touch one of the softkeys but it's also wasted screen real estate during gaming.
No one is currently working on this? This is surprising since soft keys are one of the most annoying things about the Idol 3. I'll hit up GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys developer and see what they can do to make this work for us!
Has anyone found a solution for this yet? I returned the phone after only a few hours because of this flaw. Extremely annoying feature. Takes a big
screen phone and makes it small again.
With root and xposed you can use the module "Hideable Nav Bar".

You can try any cm version for our phone and it has this option you need embedded in the system under the name of expanded desktop in display settings.

Status [Free App] [No-Root] [Status bar editor, center clock, etc]

Tested on my Verizon Note 4 before it was rooted on KitKat, Lollipop and Marshmallow.
There are no ads and again you do not need root.
This is a must have app. I only discovered it when I saw how complicated rooting the Verizon Note 4 was(Now rooted). It gave me several of the tweaks I typically want to get after rooting. Anyway, shut up, Jason. Hah.

Swapping back and menu button on stock ROM

So the title says it all. I've been looking all around the internet to find a way to reorganize my navbar (like you can do in custom ROMs) but can't seem to find an elegant solution which doesn't rely on shady developers' google play apps which don't even work in most cases. Is there a way to do to it over ADB or flashing a magisk module perhaps? My phone is rooted with magisk and I wouldn't mind using xposed if needed.
Thanks in advance
Okay nevermind, I actually did it with an app from play store (Custom Navigation Bar, rated 3.8), it required root or ADB connection.
