We all know, Bigger Application Have need more CPU And RAM.
If your device ram is low than this device unable to start this application.
When the ram is full,CPU Is searching for virtual RAM.if there no virtual ram, than the application has closed by system.
if virtual ram exist, cpu trasfarred data to virtual RAM.than the app work!
But keep in mind that, Our Device RAM 500 time faster than regular storege.
So the virtual RAM Has Low speed. The Virtual RAM'S efficiency depends on storage speed.
If your Storage Speed is High, than The Virtual RAM More Fluid.

Just wanna share to you guys , for those who don't familiar or don't know about this.
1) Just go to Task Manager> RAM and check your used memory . e.g = 400MB / 486MB ( woooo! too many memory used)
2) Press Clear > see how many apps closed and wait another 1 minute ( nothing much changed i guess ??? =.= )
3) Now go to Settings > Application / Manage Applications > Running
4) Check any unused / unnecessary apps that used memory , e.g Scramble with Friend game = used up memory until 74MB
5) Now you just go to your apps by tapping Downloaded / All > find your problematic apps
6) Tap on the application and Force close and..............now you'll gain your free memory back.
Simple and easy and effective !
Once you rebooted your device , you had to check again.

Advanced Task killer or any sort of app would save the efforts you need to do on every reboot. Set it to auto kill every half an hour, the RAM usage will be in control.
for me normally when i randomly check my taskmanager, the used ram is always 270-300 mb....so just clearing ram is enough....its only when i want to play asphalt 7 or something that i take an effort to stop the running google, whatsapp, etc services
never felt the need for a task killer though....
Don't ever use a task killer, it just don't work properly. Android is not windows. Android manages his memory by his own. If you are not happy with it's management, use v6 supercharge script instead. Improve is really huge.

Android caches recent apps in memory so that they launch instantly next time you open them. So having most of the memory close to fully used is 'good'. Use task killers only to beat up unruly, buggy apps. Just saying.
But thanks for sharing.

I'm new here at xda, I hope somebody can help me with some questions and ideas that I have about android and other devices Ram in general.
SOOooo. I've heard that the iPad and various iDevices use a special ram technique where only the current running application is loaded into the RAM. when an application is closed, what the application had in the RAM is written to memory or to sd card, when the application is resumed, it is written back into ram.
Whether this is true or not I am not sure, but I am certain that this type of memory swapping would increase ram efficiency.
For android (I'm not certain how windows phone works) an application could be made that instead of sending the close command when a back or home button is pressed, the application could be frozen and have its RAM written to the sdcard. On resume the data could be loaded back into ram and unfrozen.
Please could anyone inform me if such an app exists, or explain why it wouldn't work.
this app is used to increase ram and performance in ur android phone, everyone tells that this degrades sd cards life but its working great for me, i purchased it from playstore and it checks licince verification, if u can crack its licence crack this app and install it on ur phone , sorry i have backuped it but cant crack it, do it if u can and enjoy the app
Please try before you buy with 'Memory Info & swapfile check' their device! This is the most powerful version ever! Exclusive only here in Play Goals!
Insufficient RAM, memory is too small? This need not be! Use your SD card as a working memory expansion!
A great programmer once said to insufficient RAM RAM only helps. Convince yourself how right this man had.
Finally, more memory with a click! Memory from Android 1.6 up with root access and external SD card! More memory means that background tasks can not be completed, and many programs will work correctly in the first place!
On many devices, there are problems with games require a lot of memory, this fixes the problems RAMEXPANDER. And they can play latest games on devices that otherwise would not be able to start such APPs. No more out of memory! No more memory is full!
Languages: English and German
Note: please try before you buy with our app "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roehsoft.meminfo" whether their device ROEHSOFT RAM Expander is compatible, you!
- Free SD card memory as a RAM use (SWAP RAM / SWAP MEMORY)
- Swapfile RAM expansion up to 4.0 GB (file system limit)
- No limit on SWAP partition!
- The usual performance degradation when paged not occur with sd card from class-8
- Widget for PNP swap (swap on / off swap)
- Detailed Memory Information & Analysis
- Autorun
- Swappiness kernel parameter set
- Easy foolproof use
(1 click optimization and automatic calculation)
- Supporting Tung all Android devices (root access and Kernelswap support)
Note: please try before you buy with our app "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roehsoft.meminfo" whether their device ROEHSOFT RAM Expander is compatible, you!
Should it come to problems please contact me before they write such queries to review forum!
not enough memory? equal to no more! More games to play and run more applications simultaneously! All you have to only increase your memory. And up to 4 GB! Larger memory, instead of using task killer or memory optimizer.
ROEHSOFT Ram Expander is more effective than any other tool of its kind Why? The First find out!
ROEHSOFT RAM expander support via a widget at lightning speed and off of extended memory.
This way you can remove the SD card despite swapfile or deploy via USB.
Also, you can important, elementary the swap kernel parameters even control the effectiveness of extended memory increase.
To gain root access you Linkk this helps any further http://shortfuse.org/.
Just affordable entry level phones often have little Ram, help either here or Task Killer programs continue but one uses a swapfile, which is enough memory available. ROEHSOFT Expander turns your device more easily. Many applications, you can start at the same time and do not have to worry about your Ram.
Extends every Android device up to 4 GB of memory in which it creates a swap file on the SDCARD.
Maximum size of the swap file is architecture requires 4GB!
By setting the swappiness value, you can control the behavior of the kernel, the higher the value the more is outsourced.
Please note! For any damage that may result from the use of this software are not responsible!

WHAT THIS APP AFFECTS
OOM_ADJ (Out of memory)
Every process has value which gives the kernel a hint, which process it can kill in an OOM (out of memory) situation.
LMK (Lowmemorykiller)
Works with your applications in memory. It affects your multitasking and free memory. But Android works with memory differently than you may be accustomed. Android needs to have running applications in foreground because of fast switching between your applications. It means that it's not good if you have too much more free memory. Your system gives you so much memory as you need.
VM (Virtual Machine)
-Swappiness
-VFS cache pressure
-Dirty expire centisecs
-Dirty writeback centisecs
-Dirty ratio
-Dirty background ratio
-Min free KBytes
-OOM kill allocating task
-Caches
PLEASE NOTE!
For full functionality I recommend not to use any other scripts or applications related to memory management.

When you've had a smartphone for a while it can start to feel slow, and RAM — random access memory, which is where your phone stores its stuff as it's using it — can be part of the problem. If your phone doesn't have enough RAM it can struggle, but there are ways to address that. You can even create extra RAM without cracking the case or reaching for a soldering iron.

Android Lollipop tips and tricks
What is RAM (Random Access Memory)?
RAM is what your device uses when it's doing something. For example, when you're editing a photo both the photo and the app you're using to edit it are in the device's RAM; when you finish editing the photo is then saved to your device's storage so it can't get lost. The more RAM you have the more you can do, so for example you can have more browser tabs open, more apps running or more system features doing their stuff.
The problem with RAM is that it isn't always emptied properly, and apps don't always behave. Some apps and system processes run when you don't need them to, and others don't clean up after themselves when they quit. After a while those issues can produce noticeable results such as slow performance, lagging and stuttering, and the odd crash.
Like internal storage, RAM is a physical component of your device so you can't just stick more in. What you can do, though, is use it more efficiently — or use some clever tricks to create RAM from other kinds of storage.
RAM — shown here in desktop form — is physically limited in every device. Unlike PCs, you can't just stick more memory into your phone or tablet. / © Taringa
How to increase your RAM without root access
Now that you know what RAM is, we'll show you how to preserve it. In this first part, we focus on tips for non-rooted devices. For those devices you can't magically add more memory, but you can make better use of what you've got. As a rule of thumb, the more your phone is doing the more RAM is being used, so if you can reduce what's running you can free up more memory for the tasks that really matter.
Limit widgets and live wallpapers
Widgets and live wallpapers are both pretty greedy when it comes to RAM usage. Many refresh often and occupy bandwidth, while some are continuously active. This can also cause your battery to drain faster. So remember to limit the number of them in effect to optimize your current available memory.
Animated wallpapers can take up a lot of RAM.
How to root your phone without voiding the warranty.
Disable applications
Some applications take up RAM even if they aren't currently being used, so you're getting all the downsides of unnecessary RAM use without anything to show for it. Organizing which apps should and should not be running in the background can take time, but it's worth it to improve your smartphone performance.
To disable an application, go to Settings and then Apps or Application Manager. Next, go to the All tab to get the list of all the applications currently on your device. To disable an application, tap on it, then tap Disable and confirm. Be careful not to disable everything and anything, unless you want to end up with an unstable system, but most apps that don't come pre-installed on your handset are pretty safe to disable (or delete entirely if you never use them).
Head to your device settings menu, then the apps page.
Next, tap on the app you wish to disable and tap Disable.
Disable animations
Animations often steal RAM and are quite inessential; you can manage these in the developer options. To enable Developer Options on your device, go to your Settings, then About Phone and then tap on the build number about seven times until it notifies you that you have become a developer. (Please note that this has no negative effect on your device, it just adds the developer options menu in your settings. You just need

Yeah it is not even copied completely. The text is missing the last part
Why don't you post something from your own experience or your own thought, please don't copy from other sites.
I think it's called ram optimization and not increasing the ram. BTW.
