Tried this kernel on pe unofficial by aryan. After flashing the kernel it went to fastboot mode from recovery! And by the way why do i need to flash magisk? Well i did not install magisk is this happening because of that?
I got bootloop after flash the kernel. My screen keep booting. Im in aex oreo latest

It seems the kernel won't detect treble status properly and because of this it will flash non treble version either way. Came up with a quick fix and seems to be working. Replaced non treble with treble so both of them is actually treble supported inside the zip. Also made one with the same method for non treble roms too. Works for me.

Installed this three times but it still gave me no result, it still on the old kernel (I installed it on Lineage OS 22 February build by Fedosis)
The installation process was so fast that I don't think it's successful as we can see that the script must unpack and repack the boot image which takes time.
Did I missed something ? Or is there something wrong with the script?

dt2w isnt supported and wont be for now, dev doesnt have this device yet so he cant add things that require a lot of debugging

The 1304 build of Los 14.1's boot.img supported supersu in systemless mode.
But the 1404 build which your kernel is based is based doesn't support system less SuperSu.
Could you make that happen?

It is more ramdisk related issue. I really don't like to touch the ramdisk as much as possible. So, I simply use the ramdisk from stock LOS boot.img. Btw, if you flash Magisek once gain, you can mostly overcome this issue.

Actually it's an stock boot.img issue.
It's there on the 1404 build.
But it's not there on the 1304 build's boot.img

Change ramdisk compression back to gzip. However, be careful to not make the whole boot.img as bloat as 8 MB.

It's only for LOS. For RR (only for android 7.1.2 based), try this...

I haven't tested this on RRN 5.8.2, but since it based on LA14.1 you can try and see if it works. I haven't added lionheart Governor.

First thing is i dont know what you are doing
I flashed first Kernel img and then magisk v13 with twrp 3.1.1-0 (without wiping anything)

Installation:
If you are on Miui:
• First backup your pronto_wlan.ko and wlan.ko at system/lib/modules/wlan.ko and system/lib/modules/pronto/pronto_wlan.ko.

• If you are on a custom kernel: flash the stock boot image matching your Miui version, flash the kernel zip, and reboot. I would also recommend dirty flashing the latest OOS zip as well.

1.0 A: I am not an amazing kernel developer but I will certainly try my best. First, start by reading the release posts, as I may make note of a particular issue. 1.1 Q: Can you add xyz feature?
1.1 A: If you link me the commits or tell me what kernel you had the feature in, I can take a look at them. I will not go digging super hard for commits and I will ignore requests that don't include this information. I won't promise that I will merge every request but I will always take it into consideration. I will NOT add the following:
• Overclocking or underclocking of CPU or GPU
• Undervolting
• Any governors other than interactive & schedutil
• Anything that compromises performance
1.2 Q: How do I control the kernel?
1.2 A: I'd recommend using either @flar2's EX Kernel Manager or @yoinx's Kernel Adiutor-Mod; both are extremely solid and have given me no issues.
1.3 Q: Why my device auto disconnect when charging using quickcharger adapter?
1.3 A: That's happen in my testers too, so i guess only redmi note 4x made in china support hvdcp charging & redmi note 4 only support dcp charging,
1.4 Q: Why when charging with QC adapter so hot?
1.4 A: Charging temp is depends on our atmosphere, my thermal mod will throttle our charging rate if ur thermal(case_therm) reach up to 46°

I install it in LiquidRemix Oreo and for now rom is smooth like with stock kernel.I will test battery life.I tick all in aroma installer.White flash is working great...just like in miui.I don't know why OP didn't wrote that...maybe as surprise.
