[GUIDE] Safetynet Bypass for Coolpad Note 3 / Lite / Plus

Hello guys and gals (if any ) with the release of new stable Magisk v13.1 we can now bypass safetynet for our device easily without breaking a sweat. This method is universal so it may work on other devices too.
Now let's get started.
1. Download Magisk v 13.1 or update if you are using an older version.
2. Uninstall any other root completely (like supersu/superman/batman ).
3. Go to recovery and flash magisk v13.1.
4. Now download stable universal safetynet fix from this thread
5. Reboot to recovery and flash this fix.
6. Reboot to system and open magisk manager.
7. Tap on check safety net status.
Volla !! You have successfullt bypassed safetynet for Coolpad and other devices too
Edit:- This may work with magisk v12 ( not tested )

Issue installing Magisk or Xposed, help a newbie?

Hi guys,
I have flashed PureNexus on my Pixel.
However, I can't seem to get Magisk or Xposed framework installed. Xposed give a
Failed: /systemm could not be mounted
and the Magisk 12.0 for Pixel gives
Unable to unpack boot image
I've reset the /data partion per instructions so it's not encrypted.
Any ideas?

Xposed can't work on the Pixel, because Pixel has dual ROM.
You can use Unofficial Magisk by @goodwin_c

Nope isn't included. I will use this thread as unique place for all my Pie ROMs.

for gapps I recommend pico, since it is "demo" build for nfc you have to flash magisk module, for magisk use 17.1 and up also don't forget to install the manager application.

My variant doesn't have nfc so I don't have to worry about that. Will try this out once I'm free. Thanks for your work!

Bugs: media works just via VLC application or similar, I will fix in next build.
Don't forget to do the following things:
1-)Reboot in TWRP and mount system, vendor and splash2 partitions.
2-)Run the following command from terminal: /sbin/sh /system/bin/releasetools.kirin970.sh
3-)Flash eRecovery and do factory reset to boot the rom properly. P.S: if boot with a fully worked twrp you don't need to flash stock eRecovery.

NFC fixed properly.
Don't forget run releasetools.kirin970.sh script via twrp to boot the whole rom.

it just a typo's error

Any other recommendation before flashing your Image? Tried it by coming from EMUI 8 but got sparse error after flashing system.img in fastboot.

Flash phh's aosp 9 without wiping emui 8 system partition then try mine. in case not working wait next build then
I manage to boot LineageOS 16.0, I will fix error 7 here too and upload first beta in separate topic.

Yes but I have to fix fastboot error first.
Anyways LineageOS 16.0 cancelled, sometime boot and some time doesn't boot. I'm start getting bored of from Emui 8.x and back to emui 5.x developments that are better in certain sense.

What do you mean by flashing erecovery, you mean stock recovery right? (recovery ramdisk)

yes stock recovery, it is needed just to wipe data & cache. the releasetools.kirin970.sh can be flashed by twrp post rom installation by /sbin/sh in shell.

Fix VoLTE with Generic System Image (GSI) on Realme 5

A lot of good GSI ROMS available. VoLTE does not work with many GSI images.
For example, I installed the Resurrection Remix (Pie) GSI image developed by Luke.
Everything works fine except VoLTE. I could fix the problem with a Magiske module.
The module provides by Mrituanjay Upadhyay (Telegram: @Jay1811).
Here are the steps to install Magisk Module and fix the problem.
This Magisk Module for Fixing GSI VOLTE on Realme 5 Pro. I also work well with Realme 5.
Download Magisk Module and ims.apk from here.
Steps for Flashing
1. Flash GSI Based on Arm64 AB
2. Reboot to Recovery
3. Flash Magisk (Latest Version, I tried with Magisk 20)
4. Reboot to system
5. Open Magisk and install the GSI Volte fix module
6. Reboot phone
7. After Boot to System install ims.apk provided with GSI Fix for VoLTE

try to Mount Vendor/System first.
If it doesn't help -> Try to manually install

doesn't work.. i tryed nstall manually, but It crash stock Cam and gcam also.
i copied the com.qti.chi.override.so from zip flash file to /vendor/lib/hw, checked permissions 644

I installed it in Magisk and if the fix is enabled all gcam 7.x are not able to start and stop working moment after start. Tested with magisk 22.1 and LOS 18.1 .

Unfortunately it doesn't work. Tested on EvoX.

I found , the source of problem was AFWall+ [ed]xposed module activated in the system. When I disabled this module, the buffer fix works.

Probably it will fry my camera module in around a month, but unexpectedly it works like a charm on a Xiaomi Mi 9 SE with the latest lineageOS (Android 12) gg

I did clean install official LOS 19.1 and installed buffer fix for TWRP via lineage recovery adb sideload.: GCAM is stuttering.
After that I installed official TWRP "twrp-3.7.0_9-0-pyxis.img" for pyxis and mounted vendor partition prior to installing TWRP buffer fix again via TWRP from mounted USB stick. GCAM is still stuttering.
Any hints/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Maybe gcam does need a special XML config? I tried different GCAM versions, but did not find a XML config for pyxis.
