Help, stuck on kernel is not seandroid enforcing with broken home button - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

can someone help me, please
I tried to flash rom but it is stuck on this screen.

If your phone has a non-working home button which is pretty important for everything, why did you try to mess with the software...
You can't do anything but fixing the home button.

Is this in the boot logo, or ROM itself?

It is the rom that's not compatible with the phone
its stuck on the boot logo

A usb jig might get it into download mode.
For TWRP you might be able to reboot directly into the recovery but it requires booting.

I am attempting to root samsung galaxy s 4g by using links from root-android.org but step 1 is entering the download mode with the 3 button push.I keep entering the recovery mode and cant seem to reach the download mode.Help!
2 button and plug in USB. Do not power up the phone, only hold the volume buttons and then plug in USB

Also, this method is easy and relatively fool proof

The first post will get you back to gingerbread stock but the second post contains rooted kernels.

Stuck in bootloop with broken vol button

My girlfriends phone has been running liquid smooth for a long time. Last night the battery died and when she plugged it in and turned it on it stays at the liquid smooth boot screen. It wont go any further then that. The volume up key also does not work so I don't know how to get into recovery. What should I do?

Is the volume up button broke or stuck compressed? If it is broke you could go into download mode and flash 4.1.2 so she has a working phone. If its compressed you could try the wack method to uncompress the button.

Wait you need volume up to confirm download mode never mind.

yeah, i cant get into recovery or download mode because of the vol button. I just read about usb jigs. They force it into download mode? Do you think that would work? i don't know what else could if not .

I just watched a YouTube video to see if it asks for confirmation. He used a jig marketed for the s2 on the s3 and it went straight to a flash able state (no volume confirmation). So it looks like a good option for you. I think you can buy them for under a buck and if memory serves me you can make it out of a old cable and a resistor.

I hadn't got install CWM, but yes twrp with mobile uncle tools. And on my first attempt in the restart from this tool to put LEWA, it doesn't works. And gets in logo forever...
Now I can't go to recovery again because key combination Power + Vol+ doesn't work.

Thanks Sushant, I've checked that solution before but the PC doesn't view the phone because it is starting...
Thank you. I am not sure whether this will work but try this.
Pull the battery and place it on its position. Now press the Power and Volume Up key simultaneously. There a menu will appear I am not getting the controls but I think Volume Up is the selection Volume Down is used to move the selection(but I am not sure about control) navigate to the recovery mode and hit the selection button (I am not sure what the selection is, but you will find it as soon as you get into advanced booting)
May be this helps, fingers crossed, praying for your device

How do I turn s6 off when it enters a bootloop?

How do I turn a s6 off when it enters a bootloop? I have a s5 and when it enters a bootloop I can just take out the battery. But how do I do that on a s6? Because the battery is not removable.
I think down volume home button and power button creates a reset

If at the Samsung screen you switch to up volume it gives a turquoise screen with galaxy written at the bottom.
I have not flashed or any thing so not sure what this mode is for

It's simple.
You don't.
But how do you power off the S6 when it is in a bootloop or such?
Is there a key combo that makes the S6 go off?
Hold volum up +volume down+ home+power button when its off release volume down keep holding the rest until you go inside revovery mode then choose power off
This is the only way to turn it off there no other way

S8 plus G955F won't boot after switch\odin

Hello guys!
Two days ago I was punched by a problem with my g955f: I bought it from my friend, I wiped it completely and I wanted to update it via Smart switch.I flashed the stock firmware with switch, the process was 100% succeded and then the phone tryed to boot up but everytime he pass the first screen with s8 plus galaxy text, he arrives at the second bootlogo with just the samsung text and then he restart itself continuously.
I flashed also a firmware with odin..I fully charged the phone and then tryed again with Smart Switch but the same problem still persist.I don't know what else I can do, I have no warranty because the back pannel is broken so what else I can do by myself? Anyone has been met with this strange problem?
Thank you guys !
You tried installing twrp with odin
---------- Post added at 05:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:13 PM ----------
However there are all the directions on YouTube, try to see that you find, I also had this problem but I only tried with Odin. You have to download the right firmware for both the model and the nation, following the directions with Odin you should succeed.
Hello, thank you for your reply !
I already tried with the right firmware by searching it after csc and pda, I tried with anything else, I tried with smart switch but everytime the flashing process ends up successfull but the phone is continuously restarting, not even a first boot..
hello
is it fully charged?
Hello,
Yes it is fully charged and he keep restarting until he drains the entire battery
Have you tried installing twrp with odin? Or is twrp already installed?
I tried to install twrp and then flash a custom rom.Everything went succesfully(the flash process) but when the phone tried to boot up for the first time it went in the infinitly restart..
I mention that I choosed the corect twrp for my g955f.
There is only one way to start in twrp. Hold down the volume button - and power, the screen shuts off for 2 or 3 seconds, then you have to press volume + bixby and power at the same time until twrp appears. Then install it as by procedure. I did this and it works

You must be fast to press before it comes back on

if you have no guarantee...
you can try a combination file and see if it can boot
just ask google for one for g955f
I tried with the combination file one day ago..but I ended up into a screen like "KERNEL PANIC MODE" .He is entering in this screen when he's trying to boot up.
