[HELP]Stuck at booting aftert clean ROM flash - Moto G 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
This evening I have been trying to flash my Moto G 3rd gen OSPREY. Unlocking the bootloader and installing TWRP all went with no problem. The problems started then. I have tried several ROM's and most of them didn't want to install. It gave me (the famous??) error 7. Even after adjusting "updater-script" file it was to no avail and I had to retry time and time again. Ultimately I decided to try some older ROM's. With Ressurection ROM I had succes just untill i rebooted after flashing. My phone got stuck on the boot animation screen. So i wiped the p^hone clean again and tried others and others. I had success with Lineage 14 untill I rebooted after everything was done again. And surely, I got stuck at the boot animation screen.
I'm out of ideas here.
I use the lastest version of TWRP
currently flashed the phone with Lineage 14.1
I did a factory reset before starting to flash.

Have you replaced your screen in the past by any chance? I certainly remember that custom nougat ROMs bootlooped with 3rd party screens, but worked fine with the OEM replacement ones.
Broadcasted from Zeta Reticuli

Nothing on this phone has been replaced so far.
Meanwhile i'll try new ROM's in hopes that i'll find one that will do it's magic.

[Q] Asus TF300T boot loop CM11/OMNIROM logos

(backstory) Hi, ive had an Asus TF300T, for about 3 years now, unlocked, rooted it pretty early on... cycled between cyanogenmod and omnirom quite a bit, without really any major issues. Until today, i was running Cyanogenmods latest nightly build (CM11 Nov 5 2014), it worked just as any other nightly does a few bugs here and there, but nothing major and i hadn't done any major flashing or modding to the device. On my home from university, I turned my tablet off. And when i got home i plugged in the charger, and just as always the tablet turned on, showed the stock Asus screen, then changed to the Android boot animation... the animation then suddenly froze, and the device went into a boot loop... continuously... I dont know whats weong with it... tried to do a factory reset, i tried reinstalling the ROM, tried installing omnirom, but that got stuck on the OmniRom animation...
Im running Asus build 10.6.1.27.5
I had TWRP v2.7.0.1 installed but have now no longer works
id really hope there is a solution for this!
Thanks!
Edit: I dont know why, but when i try using fastboot or adb, the device isnt recognized. It doesnt show up on device manager either. I dont know if its the cable cause i bought it new, it says its can sync data, or a faulty charge/sync port....

I was just to open a similar thread, then i saw your post. I join your request for help!
A month ago i have done a favor to a friend by unlocking his tf300t and installing CM11 on it. A few days ago he comes to me with this problem. I've tried anything but still no success:
- restore a backup done before flashing CM11 --> restore ends correctly but the problem remains
- flash a rom (CM11 and OmniRom) --> flash ends correctly but the problem remains
- flash the stock firmware found on asus website (WW_epad-user-10.6.1.27.5.zip, the SKU is correct for my version) --> the flash process stuck (i had to force restart the tablet after almost 2 hours of "flashing")
Since the boot animation changes according to the rom, i suppose the flashing process works. But the problem remains: after a few seconds the animation freeze and the device restarts, in loop.
Informations on the system:
- build 10.6.1.27.5
- TWRP v2.7.0.1 (working!)
- adb works (i managed to set /data as rw and push the .zip file to flash)
- fastboot should work
Please help! I feel a bit responsible for bricking my friend's device
SOLVED!
Finally!
I had already tried this method, before requesting for help, but the first time didn't worked... I don't know why this evening the tablet decided to collaborate:

That worked for me! :victory:

Nexus 5 stuck on Google boot screen

Hi there,
For the past few days my Nexus 5 has been stuck on the Google screen when I try boot it up, it never reaches the boot animation.
How it all started:
I was installing a random game from the Play Store when it suddenly rebooted and froze on the Google screen. I tried multiple methods, and eventually flashed a new stock Lollipop build using the flash-all.bat method. I worked, for an hour or so, then it would keep rebooting and freezing on that start screen.
What I've done so far:
So far, I've tried almost every method to try and fix the issue. I've used the Nexus Wugfresh Toolkit, then I manually flashed the stock build with that flash-all.bat method, as well as manually flashing each file, also having no luck. I've tried that Nexus All-in-one-bootloop-fix, that didn't help, as well as flashing the stock KitKat build with no luck either. Also take note that it never gave me any errors, and I even tried installing the stock build on another PC to see if that would help (it didn't).
So yeah, I can get it into the bootloader, flash ROMs/zip files, install CWM, but no matter what J do I still can't get past this Google boot screen. Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated, as I don't think this is hardware issue, but I'm all out of ideas and thinking of going to buy a new phone tomorrow.
It's your power button - seems to be a relatively common thing. It happened to mine and the Play store got me a new one in less than 24 hours. (united states)

Softbricked Falcon XT1032

Hello guys.
I apologize for making yet another "my phone is soft-bricked" thread, but I have been through at least 20-25 of the other threads, seemingly tried everything, and I can't get past my problem. Also, most of the other threads I saw are pretty old and not really active anymore. A few of the tools there can't even be downloaded anymore because the links are dead.
Anyway, here's my story.
I have a 16 GB US retail XT1032 that I bought mostly to give tech support to my parents, whom I also bought a 8GB each. Theirs, I left untouched. Mine, I unlocked bootloader and rooted right away. All went well for a long time.
My parents kept receiving OTA's and it took them all the way to Lollipop. Me being rooted, I got stuck in KitKat somewhere (I'm not 100% sure whether that was in 4.4.2 or 4.4.4), but since it wasn't my daily driver, I let it lie as stock rooted KitKat. Recently I wanted to go to Lollipop in order to keep seeing "the same things" as my parents, and I installed TWRP in preparation to flash a "stock enhanced" version of Lollipop. TWRP flashed fine but there was something funny all along: I could use ADB or a root app to boot into recovery from the ROM, but I could never manage to get the phone to go into recovery by booting into fastboot (vol down+power) and then choosing recovery. Screen would go black and recovery would never load.
So I copied a "stock" Lollipop image and booted into TWRP from the ROM and wiped everything and tried flashing the Lollipop ROM. It got stuck somewhere part way, and a few hours later there was no more progress.
Ever since then, I am stuck in fastboot. Fastboot seemingly works correctly, recently I was able to flash an OG animation to get rid of the nasty "your bootloader is unlocked" warning. I can flash recoveries (TWRP and/or CWM) without error on the phone or the computer, but when I try to then boot into recovery using the bootloader, I get stuck on the black screen and go nowhere.
As others in the various threads have commented, when I try to boot "normally", I get the boot animation and a vibration and then it gets stuck.
I have tried so many things by reading different threads I couldn't tell you anymore what all of them were. I've gotten errors about downgrading, I've gotten stuck in fastboot reason: "failed flash", I've gotten flashing errors about the size of recovery or boot or gpt. What I've never managed to do again is to boot into anything other than bootloader. No recovery and no ROM.
Could someone with a bit of experience please point me to some working links and/or when you have the time, help me look at a couple of logs or something that can help me figure out where my problem lies and how to get out of it? my daily driver phablet died a gruesome death and I wanted to go back to my trusty moto g, to no avail.
Thank you very much to whomever can help.
Ruben.
Try to reflash full stock firmware for your device according to your bootloader version. Hope it helps....
Try typing in fastboot devices

Stuck booting after flashing openkirin rom. Can recover but cannot complete install.

I'm able to go through the openkirin installation instructions completely but my phone gets stuck during boot saying "Your device is booting now" and will sit like that until I'm assuming the battery drains. The only way I can get out of this is to boot into recovery and reinstall the stock rom. I've tried to flash omnirom pie alpha 5.2 as well with the same results. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be stopping me from successfully booting? My bootloader is unlocked and I've got FRP unlocked as well.
so after letting it sit and do it's thing for a while it rebooted on it's own but still gets stuck in the same place. I'll provide as much info as I can if anyone needs it to try and diagnose the problem. In the meantime I'm going to keep fiddling with it and I'll update the thread if I come across a fix.
Kinda same for me, on vendor Pie, Omni alphas are stuck at the animated OMNI logo, so try RR instead, that works.
But, I've come back to stock Pie, the battery life of >6h is way nicer than ~4h that I got on RR unfortunately.

Mate 8 wont boot with any rom

Hi everyone. I have a very weird problem and I'm losing my mind trying to figure it out. I was running lineage os 16.my camera got blurry so I got my back cover removed to check what happened and then replace the camera after removing the board, and when I assembled my phone it turns on but directly could not see even the Rom loading screen, only bootloader in a constant bootloop. I flashed the Rom again with same result. then I decided to flash stock Rom again and after flashing a couple of firmware without sucess I managed to install a versiĆ³n of oreo that shows the huawei logo and it's stuck there for 10 minutes and then boot to recovery. sometimes I get the message that the data partition is severely corrupted so i perform a factory reset and then the phone shows the huawei logo for 1 second and restart again into recovery and then again and again. I flashed again lineage with same result, 10 minute loading screen and then boot into recovery. I also installed twrp to format all the partition in case some of them are corrupted for some reason but the result is the same. at this point I'm hopeless and amazed because I didn't touch anything to harm the phone while replacing the camera. any help would be really appreciated
