Request for thermal throttling fix at 4pda. - LeEco Le Pro3 AI (Model x651) Guides, Development

Guys please help me. Can anyone who have an account at 4pda request the thermal.zip file fix for our phone and post it on xda please. Whenever I try to download it it says 404 not found. The screenshots shows much better performance from the phone after flashing the file. https: //4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=895159&st=1240#entry74738420. This is the link. Please help me thanks.

Special thanks to Asa Bay for providing another link to the requested file. Here it is http://www.mediafire.com/file/m9wqa9...patch.zip/file

Does it remove the Thermal Throttling, what is the AnTuTu score with it? By the way the mediafire link doesn't work. Since it's a small file could you please re-upload?

There are two files inside the zip. I flashed only the first one idk if I should flash the second one. I sent him a message but he hasn't replied yet. I ran CPU throttling test and it was always green. I never ran it before. On 4pda the screenshots of before and after show that it goes red before the flash and green after. So I guess it worked but antutu score is 95k. I got 106k on 28s. There is a performance over time graph and it showed that the CPU never got under 80% I also noticed that the 2 high performance cores never got to 2.3ghz. the maximum they got was 1.8ghz. Sorry for late response. I was at work. I did get bootloop also. I didn't flash the twrp but I booted from my PC. I think it is an issue with the ROM. I installed back my modded ROM that I got from 4pda. It's EUI 6.0.30s mod that allows u to alter system partition but that doesn't mean that you can root it. I did the same thing again, that is, boot TWRP from my PC but before that make sure to save the zip file in a card reader that has USB-C .
Then reboot bootloader.
Fastboot boot recoveryname.img .
Unplug your phone from PC then plug in your card reader as you won't be able to read from the phone's memory since it's encrypted.
Go to Mount and select USB OTG
Go to install and navigate to usbotg and flash the file.
Note: u need to extract the 2zips inside the zip. U will get zip 1 and zip 2. Idk but I think zip1 removes the throttling and zip 2 restores it. I flashed only the first one and ran CPU throttling test and it was always green.
If u need the modded EUI6 tell me. Thanks

Please do not flash it.

i mean yeah! i'm just going to boot into twrp. but what about after flashing the thermal? how am i going to boot into default recovery. because the last time i boot into recovery and boot into system directly in twrp, i got bootlooped. so how am i going to boot into system without problem?

Actually I got bootlooped also but it happened only with the newer twrp. I stopped using it and I use the older one 3.03 i think. Also I stopped using the official EUI6 ROM. I use this one https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h0VsqO-V9jsxf1Pyv3muR1qoKuvSHunu/view.
It allows u to modify system partition but that doesn't mean that you can root it.
Install this one because you won't have any problem starting the device after installing the patch.
Now I have to tell u all something. On Google play store where I downloaded the CPU throttle app, I saw a review of someone saying that you need to delete a file to stop the throttling. I was using the modded ROM v1 with the patch but now that there is a newer one(v3) I installed it yesterday and I tried to do what that person said on Google play and guess what it worked. I deleted a file I think called thermal.conf. Before that I ran the test and performance was very bad that it even dropped under 40%. It became red like the screenshot at 4pda and even stopped responding but after deleting the file the performance was much better and it stayed green and never dropped under 80%. I haven't played any game right now so IDK if it really makes a difference.
I think you should just delete the file to make things simpler. It's located at system/etc/.tp
Because there is actually two files inside the zip and IDK which one to flash but I think the first zip was it.

Guys I need your help again. There is a boot.img at 4pda that can help us boot with root rights temporarily, that is, until we reboot the phone. This file also is unavailable so could anyone please help us get that file https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=895159&st=580#entry73892896. Thanks

I just ran AnTuTu and the performance was deceiving to me. I got only 92k. CPU:40k GPU:19k UX:26.9k MEM:5.7k. I don't like it at all because I got 106k on 28s without the patch or anything but when I entered the app it said high performance mode entered. I did not see it this time. On 28s I got 50k for CPU and 30k for UX and 6k+ for MEM

I played PUBG on low power without any overheat. I did so by accessing engineer mode. I think the 2 high performance cores are useless since they are not optimized. PPM: Low power GPU: Performance. The phone surely got warm but it did not heat like crazy and also not too much battery drain was observed.

[Q] Nexus S 4G won't boot past Google Screen!!

I tried rooting my phone, but when I flashed CWM my Nexus S stopped booting... it freezes on the Google screen in the intro. I can boot into Fastboot, and cwm, but I cant connect the Internal memory to the computer without it booting like it is supposed to. Does anybody know of anything I can do to fix my phone and bring it back to stock??
There are guides for returning to stock stickied in the Nexus S 4G Android Development forum.
Before you do that though, try flashing a different recovery, like the one linked to here or here.
Btw, which guide did you use? You're not the first person to have this problem, and it's really bugging me (though probably not as much as it's bugging you :-o).
Maximilian Mary: I tried to post the link, but since I'm a new member I have to wait 8 posts before I can post a URL.... :/
I will try a different recovery, but how would I flash a rom if I can connect my phone via usb mount?

I'm a little out of my depth here, but I think it's
fastboot flash system system.img.
You don't need to put the rom image on the sdcard. Just put it in the same folder as fastboot.
It was titled "How to Root Nexus S!"
And I will try to flash recovery and try that rom command, thank you )

There's a button for that.
I got the link. Thanks. I looks like you flashed a boot image that is incompatible with your phone. That guide was for the T-Mobile Nexus S. (Why they're screwing with the boot.img to begin with, I really don't understand.)
Download the attached file, and unzip it to the same folder as fastboot. The md5 sum is d4a9508f9321eb25df3383f00f571e8b. Then
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
You'll probably also want to use one of the recoveries listed above to
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
, but leave system alone for now. Flash that only as a last resort.

OMG!! im having the same issue. could you please post the link for ODIN so i can return to stock and take it from there please? I rely on my phone so much and i need it asap thank you.
same problem with me.
but in my case, the phone not only freeze after the google logo before boot. I tried several times to pull the battery and start the phone again, it took several times until the phone can boot normally again.
After that, my nexus s can work as usual. but it only takes 3-4 hour until it freeze/hangs or reboot automatically and show image of green robot lay down with red alert triangle...
sometimes I noticed all application force closed like gmail, gtalk, etc. (its a basic apps instead of 3rd party app)
History :
- root GB 2.37 using superoneclick
- upgrade OTA to ICS 4.04
- problem happens
- root using guide : nexusshacks.com
- unroot using guide : nexusshacks.com
- back to factory setting on GB 2.34
- upgrade OTA to ICS 4.04
- Still got that problem.....
I'm using Nexus S 4G Sprint, pls help me guys...
nexus s won't boot
I had the same problem and read elsewhere that heating the phone with a hairdryer solves the problem.
I must say, indeed it did.
I removed the battery and the SIM card, then heated up the phone (so it really feels warm) put back the battery and sim and simsalebim the phone started again. and is still working since (now already a few day's)
It seems that a component in the phone is heat sensitive, the question in my mind is when will this show again and do I need to consider buying a new phone.
But sofar it works
PS I also tried hard reset factory reset the lot, but in the end only heating up helped.
Good luck, David
I fixed this problem! but I had to wipe all user data by rooting it using nexusrootICS. It finally boots up and the phone works now... that's all I need.

HELP! Brick Bug!

So long story short, my tab was running stock ICS (rooted, with temp CWM/cwm.zip). I decided to try a new rom (paranoid android) so I backed up everything via CWM and I flashed the new rom. But I forgot to do a factory reset before doing so which resulted in a bootloop. I returned to CWM to try to restore the previous ROM, all seemed to be fine and the tab restarted but was also bootlooped. Now I can't even access the stock recovery to acess CWM, I get an error message:
# MANUAL MODE #
-- Appling Multi-CSC...
Applied the CSC code : THL
Successfully applied multi-CSC
E :failed to mount / system (invalid argument) <in red.
Is there anything I can do to return to my stock ROM?!
Do I have the Brick Bug?

Can it get into download mode? If so try flash a stock rom with odin. Im not a sgt user but i am a samsung phone user and usualy when i forget to wipe all i have to do is go back into recovery. Then wipe everything and flash the same rom. NEVER go straight to a backup unless you pass setup. Then it can create a link almost so it supports going back. Or so thats what ive been told by devs on other forums...sounds kinda wierd tho but anyway if you forget to do something while flashing roms then go back indo recovery and do it again

I did everything you said, but the progress bar has been stuck at 75% for over an hour, this has happened with all the ROMs I've tried to install. Is there anything else I could do? I red somewhere that a low battery doesn't allow ROMs to be installed properly.
Although I have no idea of my battery life, I'm just gonna leave it to charge for a bit. I hope everything turns out fine eventually

Battery life has nothing to do with it. People just say make sure you have high battery incase something happens. I think that it might be a very expensive brick now. Unless anyone else knows then i habe no idea

I was reading the following articles:
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/samsung-diligently-working-towards-hardbrick-fix/
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1810954
Could this Brick Bug be the source of my problems?
I was running a leaked version of ICS AND I have been using the cwm.zip so there is the possibility
Being unable to flash through either Odin or CWM surely sounds a lot like the brickbug.
If I were you, I'd reboot to download mode, and install a full ROM with repartition + PIT file. If it works, install locerra's CWM (it's one of the few recoveries for our tablet that's confirmed to be brickbug-free), and work as usual. But remember to wipe everything before installing anything through CWM...
If Odin doesn't work, you probably have been hit by the brickbug. However, all is not lost: this guy seems to have found a "fix" for many devices. It involves giving up on all your data and making your onboard storage a couple of GB smaller than it used to be, but it can make your device work again. Read the thread, try to understand it, and (if you can't find another way out) use the PIT file for the GT-6800 provided. If your tab isn't the international WiFi+3G GT-P6800, you may have to ask the guy (hg42) for a PIT tailored to your device.
The other option, in the case of a eMMC-related brick, is to remove all traces of CWM, go to a Samsung store and repair it under warranty, saying "its broke down when I were running that backie upppe thing in kies".
The other option is the better one, as i bricked my note. When i am able to revive it, i am left with 8GB space and it seems real laggy. Change a new motherboard would be better if still cover undr warrantly.

Thanks for the replies guy.
I have decided I will return it as faulty, in the hope it is repaired. I haven't been able to boot into CWM anymore, only the download mode, so I am guessing it is fine to return it as it is?

If I were you, I'd return it to something as close to stock as possible.
One suggestion: grab the latest Odin-flashable ROM for your country. You'll get a .tar.md5 file, such as P6800UBLA2_P6800ZTOLA2_ZTO.tar.md5. Try to flash it through Odin, just to see if it works; if it doesn't, write down the name of the .img file that gave you problems. If it works, congratulations, you have your tablet back, and you can stop reading.
Now, Rename that file to .tar (or, remove the .md5 extension), and open it in WinRAR/7zip/whatever. You'll see a lot of .img files inside, including the one that gave you problems. Remove it, and try to flash this new .tar file. If the flash works, proceed to the next paragraph. If it doesn't, write down the name of the .img file that gave you problems, and repeat this paragraph using your new .tar file.
After a flash that works, your device should be as close to stock as possible. Maybe it will even boot, but I wouldn't count on it (try anyway). I'd send it to the repair centre only when it is at this stage.

Even so, flash the other .imgs. You want to be closest to stock, including the recovery (imagine the guys at the Samsung centre manage to enter recovery, just to see CWM: your warranty is now gone). Having all partitions on stock, or at least most of them, can only help your case.

ECHOE Rom conversion to S7active release

This is the Universal Echoe Rom originally made for the S7flat/S7edge source thread is here ...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-s7-edge/development/echoe-rom-g935t-beta-t3440877
have converted it to work properly on our s7actives so all buttons WORK, no boot loops at start, and no need to get scary blue warning screens, or reflashing of boot.img's
but normal risks, so do the normal routine, backup, and start with a charged battery ...
### Downgrading
1. Using modified Odin by pricecomsy
2. power down phone, and get it into download mode (so with phone switch off, hold menu+volume down and power on, then when prompted volume up)
3. Unpack G891AUCS2API2_6.0_ALL.rar
4. Load all 4 of these unpacked files in their respective placements in Odin...
5. Flash ! once Finished, you in a Clean Marshmallow
### Install is from Marshmallow/Android 6
1. So downgraded from Nougat/v7, or start afresh with Odin (i tested with PL1)
2. flash G891A_6.0_Eng_boot in odin in AP placement
3. Then root by running root.bat from MM_SuperSU-v2.76-S7QC package (it installs flashfire too)
4. then open up flash fire and add converted ECHOE_G891x_Universal_AROMA_V1.2a as zip
5. and flash, follow the aroma installer
6. once it starts installing WILL take 10-15 minutes to load ..
7. then reroot like step 3.. (need to fix the embedded rooting system to suit our actives, like on my ufirm, if i get hassled, and people like this rom will spend some more time on it! )
i doubt this is very good on battery, does have some graphical errors, but they reported in the original thread on the s7flat/edge too
will take a while to configure to how you like it, but the NoNaMe/Echoe rom configurator is very good !
All thanks go activefan01, jrkruse, and all of the echoe, and NoNaMe teams .. all i did was small conversion work, and repackage it ..
just in case i need it ....

Use modified Odin by pricecomsy
and in download mode (so with phone switch off, hold menu+volume down and power on, then when prompted volume up)
Download G891AUCS2API2_6.0_ALL.rar
unpack, and flash all 4 of these files in their respective placements...
it says i need to request permission then i get an email saying delivery failed... what should i do?
Use this link
https://cloud.mail.ru/public/BGy7/gKs4xzhRE/
and find G891AUCS2API2_CL8737252_QB10881022_REV02_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.rar
there.....
i will eventually update the OP with my links, but run outa time/space, but thought i would get it out there, as these files been out for ages and should be easy to find!!!...

No, we dont have the normal TWRP etc recovery avaliable for teh S7active/G891a as the bootloader is locked ..
so we have to use flashfire instead

Yeah as its based on marshmallow, and its very busy ROM....
There is a v1.5 aviable to convert over, but I doubt that will make any significant difference ..
Done it more of Proof of concept that s7 Roms can be ported to the active
If there is a decent nougat s7 Rom, i could try porting that ... is stang? a good one ?
Im prolly gunna sound retarted asking this. But I just rooted and am running your ufirm_hybrid. What's the difference in this one. Can I start this threat from where im at rit now and try it or is this something totally different. Again sorry, still new just trying stuff out
Sent from my Samsung SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using XDA Labs
This is something different. It is a port of Echo rom for the S7 Active.
Great bit of work but 6.0 is too old now.

what kind of a backup? a twrp one? i cant lose data i need to save it. look ive already had this once and someone helped me when this encryption thing was broken and it worked out. please i need to save my data like photos and everything in the internal storage
here i can describe what i did again
hello. here is what i did: i downloaded the official 9.0.7 rom to my phone, went to recovery, wiped everything apart from internal storage. then i installed the rom, after that twrp and then magisk. when i booted into system it worked but i got stuck on the screen that said "checking info". it went on for 3 minutes and then it said "there was an error communicating with google servers please try again later". i tried it 5 times nothing changed and i know this is a common problem that won't fix by itself so i went into recovery and tried to restore a backup that i created, but it didnt boot into system instead it said that my device was corrupt and booted back to recovery. ive had encryption enabled and because of that all the files were unreadable and my blu spark twrp didnt ask for a password. now i cant flash from my phone but when i try to flash the official rom from my flash card then i do twrp and then magisk and i try to boot into system it just sends me back into recovery every time no matter what i try and because of encryption all my files on the phone are unreadable. what to do?
You could try using the adb pull command to pull the contents of the folder or folders with your pictures from the phone to your computer. Then, if you have to do something that wipes your internal storage, at least you'll have the pictures. You can do this with your whole /sdcard or any folders in it if you need to, not just for pictures.
You might not be bricked as badly as you fear. Try this:
Make sure you have the latest version of TWRP, which is, I think, 3.3.1-3. The current blu_spark version might be fine, too, but people were having problems with a recent version of that.
Boot to TWRP.
Install OOS 9.07.
Flash TWRP.
Reboot to recovery.
Flash OOS 9.07 again.
Flash TWRP again.
Reboot to recovery.
Flash Magisk.
Reboot to system.

I think you can't do nothing for save your data, but situation is less serious than i was believing... You can copy with adb pull command but data will stay encrypted... Now you have to
1) FORMAT data, not WIPE but FORMAT
2) reboot to recovery
2a) now you can use MTP from recovery and copy whatever you want from your PC to device
3) flash oos 9.0.7 then TWRP, reboot recovery
4) again same thing, flash oos 9.0.7 then TWRP, reboot recovery
5) to avoid this problem again now i suggest you to flash latest magisk and then oos_noverity for disable force encryption (link to 3d down below)
6) reboot system
6a) if everything is going on right side, your phone will reboot twice before startup android
7) Check your google photo backup, if you had left it default, you can have your photos back
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/tutorial-decrypt-flash-rom-pie-oreo-roms-t3838643
With phone decrypted you'll never go through this problem again and you can downgrade security patch too without lose nothing

Why don't you just boot to the other partition (A/B partitioning is directly benefiting situations like this)?
Why are you wiping system when you are upgrading, just dirty flash? Which 9.0.7 zip did you download, incremental or full?
guys i did something through adb i launched it and now the system is there and everything is gone it says 115 gb free out of 116 please tell me isnt there a method like fbi uses to restore formatted hard drives even after theyve been wiped out? theres supposed to be a way to do it like fbi does with criminals hard drives they still restore them? please help im having a mental breakdown right now my heart hurts bad im shaking im dizzy my hands are shaking too that phone was my life

A) read my previous post....
B) "guys i did something through adb i launched it and now the system and there and everything is gone"................. yeah, going to go with a hard no on that.
B1) what did you do in adb
C) FBI here, "KÄDET YLÖS, HOUSUT ALAS!" - translates roughly to "hands up, pants down" - want to buy my book? https://kauppa.intokustannus.fi/kirja/kadet_ylos_housut_alas/
Once again, did you try booting to your other partition (A/B)? Or have you probed your hardware so hardly with software softly that you have 115 gb free out of 116..... sounds like a issue even fbi cannot solve now.....
Should have just paid me for letting you know how to upload pictures before that chain of events.
Then maybe you wouldn't have been shaking and dizzy from using your hands so much (not sure what you were doing... doesn't sound safe, it's not even a week before November), but I would call a doctor.
EDIT: I would sell you FBI/NSA tool from my friends in Estonia... but if you are just going to "i did something in through adb, ..." it, will not be worth your while.
Plus you never paid me for telling you how to upload a picture to a forum, maybe practice that before restoring encrypted data......

i was busy trying to do something as other people recommended. what was it exactly that you were offering? patching from otg had no effect as it still didn't boot me into system but instead back into recovery. and patching from the phone itself was impossible because of enabled encryption it couldn't read anything. yet you had a way to restore things without losing my data?

Pixel 1 dosnt start and loops

Hi guys
I have pixel 1 and I was on android 10
I had some problems so I decided to downdrade
I downloaded Android 7.1 recovery sailfish
Extracted the zip file
And flashall.bat
Bootloader and radio were ok
But when it comes to zip file
It gives me a massage
That zip file is too big and dosent goes
Then boots to Google logo and loop
I tried another sailfish recovery and another
The same problem
I found away by extracting zip file and flash every single img file
Every thing goes okey
But when I reboot it loops again
In fastboot mode it shows that bootloader sector is _b
Is that correct and what is the difference between sector a and sector b
I tried this method
[SOLVED] Unable to install factory image. "Not enough space"
I have a bootloader unlocked Google Pixel. On my computer I have Fastboot and ADB I wanted to flash the Android 8.0 factory images from here: https://developers.google.com/android/images#sailfish I downloaded and extracted the zip, booted into...

And didn't work for me

Funny thing is dude, I'm not joking. I had to put my pixel one in the freezer in order for it to boot. I bet if you put your phone in the freezer for 2 to 3 minutes, take it out and boot it it will boot. And if it does boot it means you have the dreaded emmc chip demise.

Take your device put it in a plastic bag...place in the freezer for 3 to 5 minutes... Take out the phone and turn it on.... You're having the exact same issues I did.,.. you may also have the emmc chip fail. By doing this you will find out for sure if that is the issue. the reason why these phones need to be cold is because the board gets too hot and it shuts it down
