I didn't really understood your questions but if you want to root your device , follow the Guide here :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...ne-xiaomi-redmi-note-5-whyred-unlock-t3778049
And check your phone codename before doing this :

I am a new xiaomi user. My mi 4i is on v 7.2.3.0(lximida). I want to downgrade to v 6.6.10 . I have no root and so no TWRP installed. In many post and thread I wanted to know how to do it using sock recovery. And they gave various answer as below :-
1)download the version and flash using TWRP recovery after wiping cache and data.
2)some dude told that downgrade using Fastboot (but I don't want to use pc).
3)some dude mentioned that download the Rom and rename it update. Zip... Go to updater option.... And apply update.
4)some mentioned download it...... Rename it..... Go to stock recover...... Wipe cache and data...... apply update.
5)one dude mention that if I am downgrading then in Stock recovery I have to wipe system also before applying update. (but there is no option of wiping system in Stock recovery)
So I am little worried that which is the safe method of downgrading if I have no root and no TWRP installed. Frankly speaking I have no PC so I want to know about mostly stock recovery method.

Don't bother going down this path, it wont end well. If you don't want to root and you don't want to fastboot, you're in the wrong forum. TWRP and root is the easiest way to downgrade your phone. Why do you want to downgrade to miui6 from 7 in any case? if you're not a root user the general consensus is that stock miui7 on the mi4i is a better performer in general.

Atfirst thanx for replying...
Actually... I am a pretty much root user.
At first I want downgrade for installing custom Roms as I think I have to downgrade for installing most of custom Roms.
I want to root but kingroot or biadu like apps is not working on miui v 7.2.3.0 and I don't have a PC.
OK I will manage a PC or laptop..atleast can u briefly give instruction on proper way (root and twrp way)for downgrading to v 6.6.10.
(Plz don't mention the fastboot method and )
Pardon me for my bad English.

For rooting it's better if you try and google for a website in your native language rather than make a mistake.
For installing custom Roms no need to go that far as to downgrade. Just flash your rom and use the files attached here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62420527&postcount=2
Specifically the miui fix and wifi fix after flashing your rom. No need to downgrade your ROM to 6.6.1.0. Only things different from miui 6 and 7 is the wifi driver and the partitions so these two fix those problems
The best and proper way to downgrade (for me) is to flash via fastboot, which results in a clean and unmodified device.
OK ....I did it by stock recovery....and everything is superb....thanx for sharing opinion guys
Hi Guys,
Im need and assist on how to fix my Huawei Honor 6. Here is the scenario that happened to me. I manage to unlock the bootloader and root it using multitools. But i dunno my root success or not. Because after multitools done with rooting my phone reboot and stuck at honor logo.
What i have done :
-I have cleared the cache and dalvik cache using TWRP which is custom recovery. But i cannot Unbrick my honor 6 (H60-L04).
-I also flash the boot.img, recovery.img, cust.img and system.img. After flash these 4 item also cannot proceed to flash the update.zip because i cannot enter the huawei recovery I can enter the custom recovery only.
May i know can i flash any custom or official rom using custom recovery like we flash samsung phones.
Thanks All.
i'm in the same situation with Honor 6 Plus pe-ul00. it wont boot anyway! i can install TWRP recovery but can't install any custom rom =(
i can't figure out what i'm doing wrong.
Solution to Honor 6 Stuck At Honor Logo
Hi Honorzzz,
I m new here so i dont know the forum rules, but i have faced the same situation so i m giving a solution to you.
1. If you have taken Backup of your ROM then you can restore it via TWRP.
2. If NOT, Then Google for H60-L04C675B810 stoc full, download this and restore this via TWRP. It worked for me. It will Restore your system to B810.
3. Then you can flash stock recovery and update to B820 => B831.
Please let me know if this helped you.

Hello good people i want to use custom rom !my device is idol 3 6045I as i am noob about this stuffs here is my query :
1. 1st i need to unlock bootloder using fastboot right ?
2. then i need twarp / custom recovery then my desire rom ?
3. what is the best rom currently available ? (my requirement is very good battery life, smooth & stable performance , don't play game that much tho ) i saw lineage 14 available in other sites but not @ xda! really love to use multi screen features ... @Unjustified Dev has 3 rom project i guess! which one should i get or should i try lineage 14! if i miss something please enlighten me ! TIA
1. Yes, Go Here
2. Flash TWRP and Flash the SuperSU ZIP IF ON LOLLIPOP Found Here.
3. 5.1 - PAC as I am currently using right now. Only minor problems are little to no freezes, And if you heavily modify the UI, prepare for some Double FC's here and there. Doesn't happen all the time. But if you feel uncomfortable CM 12.1 is the way to go.
6 - Lineage. Idk about the others.
(Oh, And by the way, do not forget to backup your modem! Some roms are not actually built on from your exact model but they all (6045 variant wise) work the same!)

Follow this then. You will need TWRP for downgrading to a Custom 5.1 ROM.

bro I think you may be test this method with us. you said this same thing in all posts. (in mi community also). but there is no "clean & flash all.bat". i checked two versions of fastboot rom. they have only
1.flash all.bat
2.flash all except storage.bat
3.flash all lock.bat
sorry if i said anything inappropriate......?

I am honestly going to give up on this phone. I have failed to boot about 6 GSI's and tried unsuccessfully to root using magisk(yes I used both methods) since January. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks you so much I am literally tearing my hair out(if I had any.
PS: my device is a J4plus j4primelte. Snapdragon 425, 2gb ram, 16gb internal storage. Again, any help would be super appreciated!
Edit: I also tried flashing all the fix files, permissive, no verity opt encrypt, and tried mounting system and vendor. I even tried deleting the boot animation.zip. however, the laptop makes the noise that means a phone just got connected but it stays on logo but is failing to go anywhere past it.

Hmm , then u have SX bl or u6 or higher .
It is known issue , best thing to use u2 : u5 vendor and boot ,
U can boot easy .
U6 impossible , u can download u2 vendor decompress it , flash by twrp , install j6+ disable encryption .
Follow steps .
