Best LG Q7+ Cases - LG Q7 Accessories

I received my LG Q7+ a little over a week ago and just found a really nice case for it, so I thought I would share. It's the ChangeJ Bumper case from Amazon and actually also includes a glass screen protector for the low price of about $9.00 at the time of my purchase. The case feels really nice and while the screen protector is nothing too fancy, it was worth the price.
A case I would definitely recommend against, despite the reviews, is the Idea Line bumper case with a clear back. I ordered that case first due to its relatively decent reviews and its interesting look. After arriving though, the case was nothing like the description. Very low quality and terrible feel in the hand.

Cheap UAG Alternative

So this is an absolute copy of UAG:
http://www.amazon.com/Maxboost-Sams...cp_4_YCFJ?ie=UTF8&refRID=17JMH36YYW3TVP5SYCFJ
Since i've really had dilemmas before buying my UAG since it's expensive I thought people would want to know.
This one is cheaper, obviously not as good but for the price it's pretty good.
In an attempt to find a case which would offer me satisfactory protection yet remain at an affordable price, I happened to come across this case from Maxboost. I have a general distaste for protective cases that cost more than they’re worth so the Maxboost was a welcome alternative.
I received the Maxboost case quickly upon ordering it. The looks of the case are nothing to write home about. It’s black, plastic, and has a geometric design on the back with PROTAK written in bold letters across the back face.
The plastic offers a slight bend to it which distinguishes itself from its cheap counter parts, which usually are a hard, brittle plastic. The case almost had a type of rubberized feel to it. This case also seemed to add a little bit more substance to the phone which was nice. It made the phone easier to hold in my hands.
The cutting was well done. All of the ports are easily accessible. Also there is a slight raised lip which protects the phone from drops face down to protect the screen.
I did find that the molding of the plastic especially around the tops and bottoms of the case were not done very well. It seemed like the case was put together in haste.
Overall, I think that Maxboost has a great concept here. I just wish they would take more time to make the molding of the plastic a bit better. I think this would help with the overall look.
If you’re looking for a case that will be able to protect your SIV for a great cost than this is the case for you, otherwise look to spend a little more.

Here is another one like the UAG case for about half the price. I have no complaints, pretty good for the price.
Correction: Not half the price, looks like UAG has reduced their price. UAG: $22.60 Obliq: $14.99

Case with good grip?

I have my s5 for a week now and although i do like to keep it without a case, it doesn't offer as much as protection but also i have been noticing that it is a bit slippery.
What are your recommendations for a case with a good grip? I was looking into getting something that wouldn't change the look of the phone much, but those slim cases that i have seen still seem slippery.
I was looking at the speck candyshell grip and although i didn't really love it at first, it seems like it would have a good grip. However, its very expensive and with shipping costs a bit over 40$ =/ So if you guys know a good and not so expensive case, i would appreciate the suggestions!
the zerolemon 8500mah rugged battery case it pretty good, and if you dont want a big bulky extended battery, otterbox is also a good brand to look at.
Thanks for the recommendations. I dont need the extended battery, but i will check otterbox as i have read good things about their "life proof" cases (though thats not the kind of case im looking for).
ZeroLemon zeroshock or razor armor
Laza x-armor
I just got myself their new X-Armor case. Great grip, study build and it doesn't look like anything else on the market which I love! The case is raised on both the front and the back so it keeps your phone scratch free and the case itself. Great look for the price.
Who makes the x armor?

looks just like Puregear Dualtek case ripoff ..maybe?
Try the speck candyshell grip case. It has good grip and not too bulky
Sent from my SM-G900P using XDA Free mobile app
I can vouch for good grip on the speck, as well as body glove, and pretty good grip on uag.
Check out urbanarmourgear
Thank you all for the suggestions. I was going to go for the uag one but the price went higher and so I went with the candyshell grip, which was one the ones I liked also and I'm glad to see others are recommending it,so hopefully I made a good choice.
I will leave feedback of it once it arrives =)
Laza wireless
Its a company called Laza. I found their case on amazon(amazon.com/laza) and then visited their site.

Haha that case looks beast! Love the use of polygon shapes on it. Looks like something batman would have!
So, my speck candyshell grip arrives and...its awesome! it gives good grip, it looks nice(at least i like it) and it seems to have good build quality and materials. They could included a screen protector with the case considering the price and it would have been helpful whole my glass one doesnt arrive. Other than that, i recommend it.
One thing if you plan on getting this, monitor the price and of its not urgent maybe wait a bit. Use the website camelcamel to monitor the price. I got this for 20$ and i checked a few days ago and it was at 30$, so price can change like that.
Happy new years to you all!
Magpul is pretty good
Hi,
I use a TPU-Case from Art-Wizz,im very satisfiesd with that case
Spigen Tough Armor Case is pretty decent. Its quite hard and looks great too.

Are Stalion cases any good? (great reviews but never heard of them...)

Has anyone tried the Stalion cases? This one has 4.8 out of 5 stars, which is almost suspiciously high for a brand I've never heard of and has never been mentioned here:
http://www.amazon.com/Galaxy-Case-Shockproof-Resistance-Protection/dp/B00V9QGFJO/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
Thanks
I have tried that case. It's really good. It's a lot like the similar model from Spigen. Here's a link to my review with some pics: http://www.amazon.com/review/R54CURJ07D1UQ/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm
Stalion makes lots of different things. They're all kind of knock-offs, but fairly decent quality knock-offs.
So many 5-star reviews for that case and so little written about it outside of Amazon, though... Kind of makes me suspicious.
I see you've reviewed a million things, all with 4- or 5-star scores: http://www.amazon.com/gp/pdp/profile/A2LIWJ0XZF0EO1/ref=cm_cr_rdp_pdp
Not saying that's bad, maybe you've been very lucky! But it still makes me a bit uneasy.
It looks very similar to this case that I use daily (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UXQEPIO). I like it more than my Spigen Ultra Hybrid which it is very similar to. Only bad thing is that the clear TPU edge is turning slight yellow from the Sun.
Just my two cents, I purchased a poetic case, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WASKRKS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00 , 4.6 out of 5 stars. Received it and was not happy with it. But I am not a fan of the flip cases. It advertises you can answer calls without opening the case, which is true, but you have to press really hard for the screen to read your input. Not worth the $10 price tag. Here is the link to my amazon review http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-r.../ref=cm_cr_pr_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00WASKRKS I said all that to say this, when purchasing something to protect a $600+ device, go ahead and go with a brand you know and trust or one that has a good reputation. I wouldn't stray too far from that.
I hadn't heard of them either until recently. I'm part of a "deal club" that offers discounted prices for "honest" reviews of the items. I've ordered 3 cases from them; a belt/clip holster combo for the Note 5, the Note 5 version of the case you listed, and last night I ordered their S6 Edge battery case.
Honest opinion about the two that I do have (the clear one and belt holster combo); for the price I paid ($1-2 each) you can't go wrong. The "Secure Holster Shell & Belt Clip Kickstand Combo" one, fits well, nice and snug. The only issue I had with it was the little kickstand on the case, wiggles in place. It locks well but it moves in it's slot while closed.
The clear case, however, doesn't have a hole for the microphone on the bottom of the phone (the main microphone). It took me a few seconds to realize what was going on after I called someone and twice they couldn't hear me. I looked at the bottom of the phone and sure enough, there is no cut out for the microphone. I emailed the company to see what their response is but that was just yesterday. Besides that major issue, the case fits pretty damn good. It doesn't add much bulk and it has the right amount of stickiness to prevent slipping from your hands. In Stalion's defense, I had the same issue with a Verus case I ordered for my LG G4.
The reason you're seeing a bunch of reviews for them is that they are trying to get their name out by offering discounts so people would review them. Since they haven't responded to my message regarding the microphone hole oversight, I haven't posted my review. I'm hoping it was just a bad batch as no other reviews make any mention of the microphone hole.
As far as the battery case I ordered for the S6 edge, I won't receive it till Thursday so I can't provide any insight. I may not even have a chance to use it as I'm trying to sell my S6 Edge (I already have a Note 5)
Hope that helps
Thanks meccanikal, that's pretty helpful

Cases ugh!

I have tried 5 cases from Amazon for my US Moto G7 and none of them fit right, Ok they fit but the camera cutout is wrong. Cutout is too low and causes the case to ride up on the top of the camera and causes a bulge in the case on 3 of them and the other two the cutout is too low but also larger than the camera and doesn't look right.
Anyone find one that fits? All of these are TPU cases...
Both CoverOn cases have similar issue, but hybrid one is OK for me.
Insert from the top first for better fit
Hopefully major brands will make case for it especially Best Buy is selling G7

Thanks! I sent a message to Motorola about the difference between g7 and g7 plus model and they are telling me that there is a very small difference in size so I am assuming that is the problem...
This case fits really well, very similar to case in box, but superior.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07P5ZS2DD/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_i_9UcJCbAZRR08V
I have ordered a couple more cases and they should be delivered this week.
Stay tuned and I will post pictures later
just ordered my Unicorn Beetle from Amazon. THE perfect case!
*edit* Just arrived, and my expectations are as always....The best case PERIOD! Otterbox can't touch it, AND it's cheaper! If you don't like the built in screen protector, it can be removed. Even comes with the belt clip! Not too bulky, and everything lines up great.
I got this case from Amazon yesterday and I'm very happy with it. Fits perfectly, fingerprint sensor cutout is perfect, camera bump cutout is perfect, and it feels pretty good. Maybe a little low on the grip factor but still better than the extremely slippery bare phone.
I went with this case and while the camera cutout isn't perfect. the case feels great and the buttons are much easier to press than the Encased one that I purchased previously.
I bought a G7 last week, and after a quick search of Amazon UK, opted for the Spigen [Rugged Armor] Case (square brackets are theirs). I just checked and it's also available on Amazon US (just swap the domain and the rest of the URL works).
It's a fairly standard black TPU design, with raised edges to protect the screen, and all the holes line up OK. For extra paranoia, I also bought a glass screen protector (butdidn't bother fiddling with the gel stuff you're supposed to paint around the edges once applied).
So I got this case on ebay and it is very good and cheap. Thick enough lip on the front too. Fits perfect on the G7 Plus.
As for these screen protectors I got its like they are a few mm short on either side . Annoying.

thank you! I saw your post, looked it up and read the reviews and bought it. This seems like a great case for this phone!
Tudia Merge is a decent case. 10-15 on Amazon. They have held up over years of use.

I have always like the Spigen cases. I have bout these for years for a lot of phones and they have protected them well. I have had more than one Rugged Armor over the years. Always priced decent on amazon too.

I've had the same setup since I purchased the phone . A wee bit clunky but Motorola phones aren't known for being svelte. Very happy with this case from Amazon US.
Have the same...had several drops with zero damage!

Accessories Cases - Which One?

I normally buy an OEM case for my phones and will probably stick to this, however I am always open to change.
So do you normally get a case for your phone? If so which one?
Or do you not bother with a case and just go "vanilla"?
Let me know your thoughts and if you can lets see some pictures of your case if you have one.
I'd prefer going without a case but manufacturers make them so damn slippery I can't risk it.
I always get a case from aliexpress besause it's cheap and does the job. also screeen protectors
I've had my S23+ for just over a week now and this case seems to be the right choice considering price and protection.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BPLVT925
Red2Fire Designed for Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus Case, 2X[9H Tempered Glass Screen Protector + HD Camera Lens Protector][Military Grade Drop-Proof] Dual Layer Heavy Duty Shockproof Case-Black
$17.99
For people who love minimal cases, the Spigen Thin Fit for the S23+ is really nice ! Good protection without bulk.
However I have also ordered the "memumi Ultra Slim" on amazon, it looks like something between a "cover" and a case.... I should get it in the weekend.
Caseology Parallax or Ringke Onyx?
I got 2
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BJSNQSMC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
and the official soft silicone one in lavender from the samsung site. Both are pretty good. £34 for a case is pretty steep though for the official one.
I ended up getting a Samsung original black leather case
I went for original samsung leather green case and it is awesome. I got code when buying it on samsung site lowering price of case to 1$ so I took it. Probably wouldnt go for it if I need pay full price, but its definetely best case I had but I always used low price spigen/ aliexpress cases.
I bought the Eiger Avalancha
Eiger Protection - Schweiz
www.eigerprotection.ch
But the Fingerprint is not working so im still searching for a Full body case where fingerprint is working.
Also, the Sound Output is pretty dull, and the on-Phone calls Volume has to me on the Top to hear good. In Terms of Security, you can't get something better. Fully Closed, water-resistant and so on.
Makes the phone little heavier but I don't mind that at all.

does the Fingerprint scanner work?
