On the 10.0.03 global stable. Lockscreen music controls does not show up for pocketcast, Spotify or Sonos app. Anyone know a fix for this or is this one of the bugs in this buggy release?

This one works:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57001718/Music.apk
You have to copy it to system/apps and set the usual permissions.
But imo it's not quite ready.

I will continue to use the CM9 music player. This MIUI v4 player has some nice looks and plays music well, it also has some nice features (like the automatic displaying of lyrics, a sleep timer function, an integrated equalizer and ID3 tag editor). But I miss two things: a homescreen widget (don't know why I'm not finding one) and the player controls in the status bar.

Did you still have Google music installed with miui? Maybe that's the cause and I tried it, if fcs a lot ...... but doesn't freeze the phone by eating resources like cm9 does.....

Both installed, both work fine (no freezes, no fcs).

Looking for music app

Looking for a music app that can display artwork, change tracks, volume and most importantly playlists for Google play music. Any know of one?

I am afraid that changing playlists is not possible because Google music has closed api (?). My experience with controlling Google music is best via official widget and 'remote widget' smartwatch extension.

Smartmote is the absolute best control app for google music. well worth the price.
As above , remote widget does everything you want but without playlist support, as mentioned.

I have purchased both Smartmote and Remote Widget and would say that Smartmote is hands down the best option, minus the playlists controls as mentioned above.
+1 for smartremote. Another to consider is Watch Motion. It has a free trial.
Music Control for SmartWatch 2 works very well

Help me with my new moto g3.

Got my moto g3 yesterday.
To my surprise I couldn't find the 'silent' shortcut.
No music player. Unable to customize the menu screen.

There's no silent mode on lollipop. Now it's called Priority. Push volume buttons and touch the Priority Star it's the new mode for silent notifications.
You have Google Play Music that is music player, you can play purchased music through play store and your local music too, but you have a lot of alternatives in play store.
The Google now launcher that come with the phone is not customizable. You can install a better launcher, nova launcher is the best launcher for me, and it's very cuatomizable.

Music players stopping

Hey guys, I just bought a BLU Studio X8 HD and it satisfies all my needs but I have a problem when playing music, Android randomly closes the music player if I'm doing anything else like using Chrome, I guess it's to free some memory but it's really annoying having to manually open the app every time it happens.
This phone only has 512 mb RAM but I previously had a phone that had 256 mb and this didn't happen.
I've tested a lot of music players like Poweramp and Play Music but it happens with every one of them. Is there something I can do to prevent Android from closing it?

Enabling multiple navigation apps in sound settings

Hi,
In the GPS settings, there is the possibility to choose one GPS App, so the current audio is muted while the GPS app is giving its audio output. Is there any opportunity to add multiple apps to this list?

Not currently, no.
Iam using blitzer.de (mobile radar) + tomtom both working with gps and i can still listen to music with player pro
You can use any gps software you want..but there is a function controlled by MCU in which GPS instructions can be mixed (the % of mixing can be set up)with android sound.
For that feature only one gps application can be selected

That is the feature I mean, but if this is controlled by the MCU I think it will be impossible to do some mods to that
