[UCCW] Play, Pause, Stop, Icons

I'm using the UCCW app to customize my home screen. In some of the icon packs I'm using, courtesy of Seriously Crazy, there are pause, play, stop, forward, and rewind icons. I'd like to be able to use this icons, and set up a hot spot for each one and get then to control any music app. Whether it be Play music, winamp, or any music player. I have most of them, but can't figure out how to set the hot spot so that they control the music that's being played on my phone. If anyone can help me, I sure would appreciate it. This is now day 2 in trying to figure it out. Thanks.

Issues with Sony Smart Watch 2 - Pebble does it better

Hi All
Just for my Sony Smart Watch 2 yesterday and feeling a little underwhelmed
I also have a Pebble which I feel at the moment is better.
Two things:
1. I cannot get the Sony to stay in control of Google Play music when its playing. It will do the volume but then when you go to forward a track it defaults to the Walkman app and starts that and plays the demo tracks. I have tried disabling the Walkman app but then the app on the watch just crashes.
2. The second and less important thing is Facebook integration. On the Pebble it will deal with two Facebook accounts being run on the phone. One in the Facebook app and the other Facebook Messenger. Both running different accounts. The Sony seems to only recognize the actual Facebook app.
Anyone have a solution to these?
Oh I just thought of a third, lack of watch faces! And especially watch faces giving a lot of information. The Pebble face I use has time, weather and phone battery status...

How are you even controlling media from the watch at all? The media player app is missing in the Android app store at the moment. However, even on the Smartwatch 1 I believe the Sony official app was locked to the default media player on your device. Most brands of phone have their own take on the music player, such as Sony's Walkman app. The volume control is not related to the app as its the master output volume. But the track changes will be sent to a specific app, not the one that's currently playing music.

Now, there is an upgrade of Music Player Extras by Sony that allow to control Google Play Music correctly. You can set volume, play/pause song, go to next or prev song; but u can't see Artist or Title of the song from the smartwatch.

That's an improvement. Shame about no song details. Thanks for the heads up

Yeah I spotted it last night. I have an HTC phone and before yesterday night, there was no music player at all for the smartwatch 2 hence my previous comment. I have it now.

I too have an HTC phone (One - M7) and the Smartwatch 2. This Music Extras is the only one that work properly with Play Music until now.

Does anyone know if it's possible to disable or uninstall the New Events aggregator plugin. The one that's just a yellow circle with a number in the middle. I'm using WatchIt!, so don't think I need this New Events thing.

[APP][SW2] Media Control Extension

I think it's time we had a free one of these. This is a simple extension that sends generic audio control events to the phone.
Post here with any problems or feature requests. I will not be adding code to control specific apps.

Something odd (it was said also in play store) with my note, n8000, Android 4.1.2. When pressing the icon "play", two differend players start: spotify and the default music player. I cannot figure how to fix this.

You need to find settings in your default player or in spotify to disable bluetooth controls. If neither player has this setting then I'm afraid you're out of luck. You could uninstall one of them. The app works generically like a BT headset that has built in controls.

Actually it starts three music apps (default, n7 and spotify =) and finally causing sw2 app to crash... don't find how to change bt controlling for those apps or is it even possible. otherwise seems to work faster and better than other controllers.

Yeah thanks for a cool media controller. Maybe in future updates the User can dictate which media application to be used. I see my soundcloud, Pandora, and Native Music App battling it out, lol. I fight for the User! Thanks again for the app.

Hi,
first: i really dig your app and the widgets. However i have run into the same problem as the others: all players open. Is there really no workaround? I haven't found any other music control widgets for sw2 + yours are the most straight-forward.
I have noticed however, that one button works correctly: the pause button. My observations from the button-mashing:
Play: opens all players
pause: pauses or unpauses the *active* player
next/previous song: starts all players, songs are changed on all players. "Turn on the radio." popup appears.
Samsung Note 2 + Sony SW2.

I am on the ported OnePLUS One CM11s for N5. And I at first using it I would listen to music and then when I pressed the power button after the screen went dim it would show the lockscreen with the Google PLAY music, I updated to a newer version, from 1.4 to 1.5, and now its not there. Any ideas how to re-enable to the lockscreen to have the Google PLAY music controls with the current music artist album cover on the lockscreen? Thank you in advance.

1. It isn't a port, its CM11 snapshots with added apk files
2. Probably something else interrupting audio focus, or the lock screen is just bugged.
3. Or its just a CM11 issue.

Running app on widget. Have option? And need music player

Hi. I am purchased xiaomi redmi note 3 pro before some days.
And I want make the home screen with functionality.
First. I have app for ir (control it). Very good app but without widget.. Have option to create widget? Like flow app but stay on one page in launcher.
Secondary. I need music player. ***with song list in widget*** like in the widget in Samsung Player.
Doesn't matter the function and quality or if it's a paid app. Just need this option

I am doesn't find songs list in his widget. I am try all his options

Try Blackplayer Ex, it has a lot of widgets.
