A couple of days ago I received the update to the camera app that gives it the new UI.
The thing is, it doesn't have the night mode (which I already have in CameraP3).
Now, the question is, is there any word on whether the Pixel 2 will officially receive the AI-powered night mode?

Yes, I've read Night Mode will come to the P2's but I didn't read when that will occur.

My mother just got a Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch and saw that it had ics on it. I have always wanted ics becuase of face unlock. Does anyone know why the Galaxy Tab 2 doesn't have face unlock?
Probably cause it sucks with vga cameras.. I have face lock on my sensation, and but disabled it after a few days cause of crappie results. Sensation has a vga front camera as well.

its a pretty pointless feature imo. badly implemented and not secure at all. and if you are using it, have to turn a light on so it can see your face so no late night tablet while your lady is sleeping next to ya, gotta leave the room first lol

Eventually face lock will default to draw or pin if it can't see your face, but still a pita at night.

It is also disabled by other devices probably because it is extremely insecure.

Just got the update! Seems pretty nice. It added an lot of features!
However I can't see any new what faces as they promised.

Youcan customize and create your own watch faces now...You can do it on the phone via smartwatch app within smartconnect....

Double tap screen is cool too. I did, however, see a major change in battery life. I used to get 3 to 4 days and now I barely get one. Anyone else notice the same? I was wondering if it might be because I made a very busy custom watch face, but curious to see others' feedback...

I have about 3% battery drain every hour with a watchface with 5 widget.

I saw someone mention in another thread that it might be double tap to wake causing the drain. I just turned it off; will report back after a day or two.

I can confirm significant battery drain with double tap to wake turned on. I turned it off and my battery life returned to normal, even with 5 widgets on the watchface!

Hello everyone, does anyone know how to increase the sound on the pixel xl? It is still soft even with the volume on max. Is there possibly a app out there that would do this automatically?
Also in regards to screen rotation, i can't get the screen to rotate 180, where the charge plug is at the top, this would make it beneficial to using when plugged in. It rotates in either landscape position but not, the other way in portrait position. I am not rooted or anything like that, i usually do root my phone's but would like to keep this just the way it is. This phone is awesome, only 2 caveats i have about this phone. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys,
In September last year, Google seemed to do away with confirmation of reminders/commands in Now (I.e. I would say "remind me at 6pm to take the bins out" and it would just do it). Now I have to confirm everything and it is super annoying to have my phone go "OK. DO YOU WANT ME TO SAVE THIS!!???" multiple times per day. Is there a way to remove the confirmation step?

I'm interesting in this too, it's very annoying to confirm a simple reminder, I'm not setting a nuclear bomb, I just want to set a reminder, just add it without confirmation!!!
Can't read them quickly enough. Any way to extend the amount of time it displays the message? This seems like a new issue. I have done a format reinstall. I'm using a s3 frontier. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
