Good morning every one,
ALL BLUE STUFF is "EDIT " no I meant RED
added DUMBnical details of my issues
Problem was : emui 3.1 android 5.1 NOUGAT ? burk brik recover recovery
portable bloqué - flashage raté, flash portable , android 5.1 montre le sigle nougat, impossible installer twrp impossible re lock bootloader , encryption bloquée.. euh...récupération version, mauvais numéro model ou region ou problème flashing tout court etc...
had been 4 days I've been trying to sort myself out but the more I try .. the more trouble I'm in... At start i had bricked (huh ?) mobile ..
followed this course : (run forest come on)
How to Un-Brick a Factory Reset Protected Huawei Mate 9 (please notice underneath the Blue section, this is why I've done this C636 thingy which never happened anyway and got me since wwith this awfull bugy version)
This part of the guide requires a bit of background information to fully understand how and why FRP (Factory Reset Protection) engages on Huawei devices. This is basically an “anti-theft” security feature meant to prevent a thief from factory resetting your phone – unfortunately, it basically locks you out of fastboot / bootloader mode.
FRP tends to be activated when you try to “Reset to Default” in the developer options while the bootloader is already unlocked. The “OEM Unlock” setting will become disabled after you unlock the bootloader, and because FRP is engaged, you cannot change it back. You will need to flash the original stock firmware, which will completely reset your Huawei Mate 9 to factory condition.
The problem is that except for two firmware regions (C636 and AL00) , Huawei Mate 9 stock firmware cannot be directly flashed.
Furthermore, the method for rooting the Huawei Mate 9 involves formatting the Data partition through TWRP custom recovery – unfortunately, much of the Huawei apps are stored on the Data partition (camera, system updates, etc.).
So if your Huawei Mate 9 becomes bricked after unlocking and installing TWRP, you will need to rebrand your device’s OEMINFO to C636, flash the C636 firmware, and use a tool like “Firmware Finder” to flash back to your regional firmware and stock recovery.
blablablabla
I was on a MHA L09 C438b194 and - god knows why if he knows - I ended up with a version of M300 L09 NRD90M which is supposed to have emui 3.1 and android 5.1.
My problems are ... many .
I know first mistake I've done - when twrp worked - was to change the OEMinfo files following a tuto which I don't know why I've done so . yep dumb...if you fear to do something silly... just do(n't) it ?)
So I've change my version from EURO to china or something like that.. well I'm a world champignon ! (oh yeah, a full bucket of it I would say)
First of all no matter what I try from previous ? knowledge ? (huh no what lait-je? what milk I ?) (ex P8,P9 user) i cannot instal TWRP or CWM ...
Secondo when factory reset from android or from Vol up and power button my bootloader , after rebooting the mobile comes back Locked...I get the option development enable, set usb debogage , CANNOT set OEM , reboot and... bootloader unlock . (waaaaoooouuhh)
Reboot again ? try to flash it ? Wrong password or command not allowed (been tryin with everything like SKRtools huawei tools etc..) or boot at risk lol hell yeah you are pal !
Oh as well when i check the android version (5.1) it shows a N of nougat !? lollipop ?
want an ice cream perhaps?
As well as when i reboot mobile is says the RED message FAILED VERIFICATION and so many other things i probably forget to tell you.. (sorted too !)
ooohh shut up will ya .
Even if I was to trying to relock/unlock bootloader it either ends up with "false command not allowed" or worst : wrong password .
no say about the "failed root type is risk and other many troubles I've been through for the last 4 days ...
I am , of course , terribly disapointed of myself and hopeless.. I didn't want to annoy you guyz with my mistakes as I am a big fan of your work and been reading topics/tuto here on XDA for many years... so tried a lot of solutions from here...
Bla Bla bla is Jeremy Clarckson around here or what ?
So please could any 1 whose got a clue ... help me : first get back TWRP in ( i could back up oem info with it and copy/paste them for my original one MHA-L09 C438 )
and as well get rid of this awfull work of mine and rebrand my Mate 9 to original firmware/stock version ..
I put into your amazing brains my poor and little sorry bump ;( praying you could help me breathing again. I'm desesperated of such ...well dumb me .
Thank you in advance for further help or questions and my apologies for my Frenchglish .
aaaaah finaly you shut it up !
some infos from "about" :
M300-L09 NRD90M - emui 3.1 and android 5.1 (nougat? see above)
mha-tugl_vn2 Emui solution version b051
parameter version Cversion C432 Dversion Cust
Product component version = MHA 4.0.0.5
EDIT : ALL TAGed RED IS from EDIT - Got sorted out on me own ... as a dumb getting clever ,, can you ever imagine that ?
I'm outa here for a wee (did you know a human being can hold up to two liters of ... oui oui ?), been a week already... will pop back 'round later to - shorthly and simply (? really ?) explain what i done to ...become a tiny bit of a more clever dumb . It wasn't hard in fact...now I come to think about it
hi
I have a Honor 8 FRD-L09C432B394, rooted latest magisk and twrp.
There is an OTA update, available, on the phone only, not available with HiSuite..
I would like to update, I uninstalled Magisk, But no way to replace twrp with stock recovery with latest Huawey MultiTool V8.
Don't know why but my FRP is locked.
I found some ways to solve it, AAbox2_17.11, or DC Unlocker 2, but I dont understand how it works, and I don't want to brick my phone...
I also found a tutorial to downgrade from Nougat to Marshmallow, this could solved my problem...
Do you have any info? Please.
thanks for your answer, I will try it with huawey tools
Ok, I finally managed to update my firmware to b399...
thanks @Rommco05
But, now, I have a problem with the bluetooth...
I posted another subjet about that :

Hello,
1st i want to say, that I am not a phone expert. I got (I could not choose) this Mate 9 but how you already know it's chinese version. I was researching but after reading so many threads and websites I got tired and confused that I had to sing up for help. I would like to ask if there is a option how to unlock bootloader, because the officially way through Huawei website seems to be shut down. The link for registration for the unlock code does not work and I could not find any information about it on the huawei website. So is there any free way how to unlock it ? I want to change the region and get fully English rom. Another question is, I read on couple websites that AL00 should get the new EMUI 8, I have in the phone 5 and I am wondering how to upgrade to version 8. Again I found some info and files for download but boodloader has to be unlocked but on other side I saw something that it should be officially upgrade, so I will still need unlock bootloader ? If no, how can I make upgrade to emui 8 ? Current I have B186 and next new upgrade I have B233, I didn't download that one yet. Do I need some special build and after it will be installed will show up the upgrade to emui 8 ?
Thanks a lot for help.

Hello guys !!
How are you today? because im ultra fine like all the days.
Well, i want to ask you if you can help me with this problem;
I Have a Smartphone Huawei, model "Mate 9 (MHA-09)", with Bootloader Locked, system Emui 9.1 = Android 9, FRP Unlocked.
For me, my 2 solutions are:
" Downgrade Emui 9.1 to Emui 9.0, then, to Emui 8, and finally, to unlock bootloader whit DC-Unlocker"
" Or change all the system with root, like the launcher, the notification panel, menu, etc"
I read about:
° HuRupdater
° Upgrade / Downgrade by SD Card With Dload
° Downgrade With Hi Suite 9.0 or 5.0 with FunkyHuawei
° Install TWRP whit NoChek
° Firmware Finder
° DC- Unlocker
° Xloader
° Update With SD 16Gb and not 32Gb
and i try, and i try.
and thats why i am here, i still can´t find those solutions, and i need help.
Can you help me please?

You can downgrade simply by HiSuite, see discussion (check also the earlier posts):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80889343&postcount=3
That way you can go down to EMUI 8 but not earlier than to the firmwares with Security patch 07/2018 or later
And you cannot (and must not - people hardly bricked various Huawei phones, not just Mate 9) roll-back further because at that time Huawei changed the Bootloader
It actually means that you cannot go back to be 'able' to use old/good DC Unlocker - instead of DC Unlocker you will have bricked device that can only be repaired by Testpoints method
Also, only by Testpoints method you can rollback to Oreo, Security patch 06/2018 or earlier, that you can then unlock by DC Unlocker.
It was discussed in one of the threads here for Mate 9, about two months ago - please search
It was also asked and answered in another Mate 9 thread (during the last month or so - please search, you will find) about the available options to unlock Bootloader - but all goes down to the Testpoints, and some costs (to Halabtech, HCU or a particular Telegram group) that are about 30 Euros or more
Only those who never upgraded over Oreo firmwares with Security patch 06/2018 (that is, who still have the older Bootloader) can simply unlock the Bootloader with DC Unlocker for about 4 Euros ;-(

Hello mate.
I had tried before posting, but it didn't work.
So far the temporary solution I found (which I also tried for Dload and Hi suite, and it did not work, maybe I am wrong) is to perform a Downgrade from Emui 9.1 to 9.0, then you can perform a Downgrade to Emui 8.0. (but it is not possible to do it directly from 9.1 to 8.0)
I have an information puzzle, I still can't get to Emui 8, I keep reading, trying, buy 4 credits in DC, and surprise, they can't unlock it, and I already tried so hard, for so long that I'm seeing if I already sell Huawei, and I add it to my friends list "Never Buy again"
as ise with LG, Samsung, Xiaomi.
It is frustrating, he became a dictator huawei with his Sisteman "Emui" with which I can not even clean my quiet ass without bothering with his updates

Yes, exactly as in my post you cited. You downgraded from 9.1 to 9.0, then from 9.0 to 8.0, but you are still with the newer 8.0 sharing the same new Bootloader as 9.0 or 9.1 - the same new Bootloader that cannot be unlocked for 4 EUR.
You would have to downgrade further, to the older 8.0 firmwares (before GPU Turbo and/or earlier than Security Patch 06/2018 - they usually correspond to the jump from the old xloader to the new one).
But such downgrading is not possible by e.g. HiSuite, and if you enforce it by DLOAD, you would jump to the band wagon with several other users of various Huawei devices who similarly wanted to 'cheat' - but instead of unlocking Bootloaders for the cheap 4 EUR, they hard-bricked their phones.
There is only one method to downgrade to that old xloader.img - TestPoints: it requires to open the phone, to shorten pins on the TestPoints at motherboard and then to use a special loader and driver by Huawei to flash the board image. You may have problems to restore IMEI(s).
If you are interested about, search on XDA and outside, you will find the guides.
Actually, there were even instructions here (not very detailed - requiring further research for resources), under the Mate 9, Q/A or Guides section (e.g., I remember that I have asked for how-to at late Aug or early Sep, got a short answer but I never pursued to try it on my own)
E.g., attached is a photo of TestPoints pins for Mate 9
finally, I have the solution

Men, thanks for the answer, and sharing your time.
Well,
Finally, I found the solution that I wanted to apply a long time ago.
Which one?
simple; Take the cell phone, sell it and send the **** to Huawei.
